Tecra S11 - webcam application failed to initialize

I use a laptop Tecra S11 and since I downloaded the new bios version 1.40 I get a message saying that my webcam application could not initialize and I'm not able to use my webcam.

How can I fix it?

This happens again and again every time that you restart your laptop Tecra?
Have you tried to reinstall the Web camera Application?

Rodolphe/Spyware/Malware infection, blue screens don't have an option to click OK to finish or even forget that you can click on anything. If you do not work in safe mode or even last known good configuration you can try a repair installation, but you can still loose data like that. I would just pull the information you need out of the HDD using a speaker and then wipe and start over from scratch. Don't forget to scan your files if you do not import everything using a speaker. However if you can access the mode safe mode with networking, try to download malware bytes and running (don't know how its spelled) it will remove files such as _is27.exe which is a (Rogue.Installer).

    Hello

You can try the steps below and check if that helps. You need the Windows XP installation CD to go forward with the steps below.

    (a) use the Recovery Console, which is described in the article below.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314058

Note: You must make sure that your primary boot device is CD drive - go into the BIOS to ensure, if necessary,

    (b) (b) demarrer start from the Windows XP installation CD-ROM, and then use the EXPAND command, like this:
    Expand d:\i386\wininet.dl_ c:\windows\system32\wininet.dll

Note: Where d: is the CD-ROM drive

    (c) then type EXIT and when the pc reboots, you should be able to boot XP.

    Hi petrospapamihelakis,

Looks like one of the installed program on the computer has been corrupted.

    ·         Have you checked the problem in safe mode?

Step 1: Try to start in safe mode to see if you get the error.

Step 2: If he is able to start very well without any errors, and then try to try perform a clean boot to normal mode to check whether a third-party program is causing the problem.

  • Reinstallation of Windows Media Center XP error, the application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135

I had to install a new hard drive after the death of my old. I use my Dell recovery/reinstallation disk. The first time I tried installing that it froze after the reboot. I then did a repair installation (twice) and each time got the following error:

    PxShare.exe Application error.

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135).  Click OK to close the application.

It appears at the end of the installation, but when my login screen is displayed, it shows only one account, administrator and request a password. I have not configured any accounts when I did the installation and you do not have a password. I tried to enter without password, using admin as password and check-in safe mode did not help - it still asked for a password.

I don't know if the two problems are related or not.

  • If I update to windows 7 it will fix error application failed to initialize properly?

When I try to open certain programs I get application failed to initialize properly.

I want to know if I upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7 will be the mistake still be there?

    Will he take it?

    Thank you

    Mildred W.

    Hello

    1. Since when are you facing this problem?

    2. don't you make recent changes?

    3. What is the full error message?

    4. what programs you try to run?

If you upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7, once again depends on what program you use. If there is a problem with this program, you could get the same question.

If these programs are third-party programs, so I suggest to uninstall and reinstall once and check to see if the same problem happens.

Alternatively, you can also try to restore the computer to an earlier point and check if it helps:

    Hello

read this information on the Defender:

    ·                         If you use microsoft security essentials avg avira mcafee norton etc they disable the vista version of windows defender by default

the basics of Microsoft security has its own version of windows defender

and other anti-virus programs use their own particular type of application to scan for spyware and malware

It of nothing to worry and is the default action, which is designed for them to do

If the above does not apply to your machine to read the information on the below link on how to disable the windows defender service in vista or make an autostart to enable

    http://www.groovypost.com/HOWTO/Microsoft/Vista/disable-Windows-Defender-service-in-Windows-Server-2008-or-Vista/

and here is the method to remove it from startup in vista

    http://www.groovypost.com/HOWTO/Microsoft/Vista/remove-Windows-Defender-from-Vista-system-startup/

and this is how you would normally activate or disable windows defender in vista from within defenders of own and options tools

    http://www.groovypost.com/HOWTO/Microsoft/Vista/disable-Windows-Defender-for-Microsoft-Vista/

and if you need to change startup programs read this information on the other methods of doing it without using defender

    using msconfig read this tutorial:

These programs include those in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other registry keys. Hello

    Method 1:
Some malware may also be responsible for this behavior, you need to be as sure as possible that your machine is not infected
You can perform a Microsoft Security Scanner and check if the virus is completely removed. Check out the link below to run the scan and check if this helps-

  • The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000005)

When I run some applications (I guess point net apps) they come with this error in the application. This error appears when I run my Visual Studio project (when I run debug file). It still happens if I create a new project. This affects several applications. The event type is a popup of the application and the number is 26. It is related to this error I get when running applications on VB2008 "could not load file or assembly 'Project name' or one of its dependencies, the specified module could not be found. Boot in safe mode always comes up with the error.

I can't find a solution to this problem. Apparently, it happened when I ran a particular application or something else of editing the registry. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Please help me: I get message "application failed to initialize properly 0xc0150002 error code", when trying to open the trial of Sony Vegas 8.

    Windows XP

    Hello Jamie-94,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

It looks like something has become corrupted when you tried to install or open your application.
I want to uninstall the application first.
Make sure that all the files/folders related to Sony Vegas 8 trial have been removed. This includes My Documents.

If the file is a .msi, you can use the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility.
Click here to download it. You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

Otherwise, try to install it again and see if you get the same error.
If still problem, I suggest you post your question in the Forum Sony listed here.

Hope this help to solve your problem. Please answer if you still need help.

  • Application failed to initialize 0xc0000142

About 2 months ago I had service pack 2 installed on my computer. Everything was working fine until about a month. When I try to open Microsoft Office Powerpoint and Excel, I get an Application error message. But I can't open and use Mircrosoft Word without any problem. I also have an Application error message when I try to use Windows Media Player, iTunes, Microsoft Sliverlight, reader DVD Toshiba and Mozilla Firefox. But I am able to use Internet Explorer very well. When you try to download adobe flash player I get the message: getPlus + (R): error, error operating system! I also get errors of Setup.exe and Plugin. When I tried to uninstall Mozilla, I got a message saying that the program may have already be uninstalled. I searched all over the internet for solutions and none worked!

    Hello

    Step 1:

You can use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow the link below.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Step 2:

Once the analysis is complete, restart the uninstall from the computer and re - install the applications that are the problem.

To uninstall programs follow the link below.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/uninstall-or-change-a-program

Note: Uninstall an application only if you have the media to re - install.

In addition, run a virus scan to check if there are any infections on your computer.

    Hope this information is useful.
