temp file system

I am running vista and 20 GB of hard drive space was taken up by files ccleaner system temp picked them I looked in the temp folder and could not find them is it safe to delete them using ccleaner help thanks in advance

If you double-click on the line on the page summary of CCleaner, you should be able to see a list of files. They are probably in the hidden C:\Users\yourname\Appdata\Local\Temp folder. An application should not put anything in the Temp folder cannot be deleted safely.

  • Big problem to delete my Temp files

Recently, I wanted to play a game, but it did not work, release with support, blah blah blah, but support guy says one of the ways I could improve it is by deleting my Temp files, so I did, but I forgot to empty my trash and I restarted my computer. I opened it to the top, and the theme had somehow changed to what looked like Windows XP. He also screwed up my wireless adapter software, but I fixed via regedit and turning the WLAN AutoConfig on automatic (I don't know how it happened). I got my wireless adapter works fine now, it is connected to a WiFi network. Still a problem, none of my programs get WiFi. I'm sure that my adapter works fine and my router is working because I use wifi fine on other devices, so I don't know what I did when I deleted these files. In addition, why my Windows XP theme seeks and why can't I change it back to Windows 7?

  • What is the path of file system for javascript files?

We want to keep our javascripts under version control using SVN.  SVN has features to do this, but they are all accessible from the file system location where the files are stored.  So where is it?  When the external editor is used, the file is copied to the Temp directory under the logged in user, but as soon as you close the editor, the file is deleted, so this isn't really an appropriate place for SVN connection.

    Thank you!

You can get this path as well using the same method, by replacing "javascript".

    with "sequences".

  • How can I remove the Photoshop Temp File for good? (PS CS 4)

    Hello

I have a problem on my PC. Since this Saturday if gives me the error "could not complete because full discs...» »

I have read every blog/forum and even called the call center of photoshop without any help...

Some of the solutions I've tried are the following:

-Deleted all my Temp files (as I normally do every week)

-Defragment my hard drives (done weekly)

    -Deletion of all unused software

-Bought and installed a new hard drive (1 TB) to use as storage for this Temp file

-All cleared the Cache and Cookies on my Browser

-Use of the memory of Photoshop to 70%

-Uninstalled Photoshop (PC Shutdown) and then re-installed and the Temp file is always there and it is much bigger than before

Basically, I tried everything I could.

What happens is that this Photoshop Temp 12389772616 file (44.6 concerts and increasing) cannot be seen when Photoshop is active or running and can not be deleted under these circumstances. When Photoshop is closed, it disappears as well. I don't know what else to do about it. When I re - allocate what is called a virtual file/disk to another hard disk, Photoshop slows and crashes more... I was thinking of buying the new Photoshop CS 5, but I am now, NOT wanting to take the risk, but it has served me well for a year so far.

: NB is there any way I can reduce the size of this file virtual (Temp) or completely remove?

    My PC Specs are:

Processor - Dual Core (2.3 GHz)

    Operating system - Windows 7

Hard disk space - 1 TB, 500 GB and 250 GB x 2 (space is not a problem)

    Graphics - 8800 G - Force (512 MB) with GPU (PCI Express)

Can anyone please help me or guide me on how to this mess?

Just to clarify; is your main disk Scratch, named in Edit > Preferences > Performance an internal drive? If so, what is available on this subject?

Is between "ideal" recommended RAM allocation in Edit > Preferences > Performance ?

File slow opening is perhaps due to the default printer. This is a known bug and has been reported several times in the forum.

The solution, weird as it may seem, is to make a printer driver generic default printer. If you do not, you can download it here:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=pdrv&platform=win

I hope that helps some of ths.

Oh yes and try resetting your preferences (again) as described in the FAQ.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/375776?TSTART=0

You must physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if you use the Alt, Ctrl, and shift, don't forget you get a confirmation dialog box.

  • Extract and save xml to file system nodes

    Hi all

I'm looking for some great ideas for how best to extract a complete xml file xml nodes and save each in a path specified in the file system, by incremented for each file... file name File1, 2, 3, 4.

I have a process in workbench that takes an xml as input file (XML full below). The complete solution, I'll have an unknown number of child nodes to record.

Full XML file with two records. Is in a process variable "xmlComplete" - type = xml:

    ==================

    < archiveIndexRecords >
    < indexRec >
    < i1 > 7173 < / i1 >
    < i2 > 1405781111 < / i2 >
    < i3 > 71709999999 < / i3 >
    < / indexRec >

    < i2 > 1405782222 < / i2 >
    < i3 > 71708888888 < / i3 >
    < / indexRec >
    < / archiveIndexRecords >

You want to save each book of the child (< indexRec >) on the file system. Lets say C:\temp\records\file1.xml (..) (2 xml etc.) and with a content as.

    < indexRec >
    < i1 > 7173 < / i1 >
    < i2 > 1405781111 < / i2 >
    < i3 > 71709999999 < / i3 >
    < / indexRec >

    ...

What type of solution would you advice? A script executed with loop or a loop of setValue steps?

Hope for the grand entrance. do not hesitate to ask for more information if needed, thank you

    Yours,

    Thomas Groenbaek

    Hello

You need create a loop in your process on Workbench. First count nodes and assign a variable of integer type.

    /process_data/@number = count(/process_data/xmlComplete/archiveIndexRecords/indexRec)

Then you need to get the data from the first node to write to the disk.

    / process_data/FirstNode = / process_data/xmlComplete/archiveIndexRecords/indexRec [number (/process_data/@i)] (I did another variable of integer type that is 1 as default.)

When you get the data from the first node set a document variable and write down on the disc. Then add 1 to the variable i and control it with the number variable (number of nodes). Decide for the next record or not.

You can find an example of how creating loops in below link.

  • Apple and legacy applications file system?

    Hello

I heard that Apple will release Apple (SATF) filesystem in 2017.

I'm sorry, I have no idea what it means for my system. Will be my apps (I got a few apps too, and the apps that I don't have form the Mac App Store) continue to work?

    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards, Fabian

The release of a new file system has nothing to do with your applications, so they will still work correctly if you start to use it (even if you need to check that your applications are supported whenever you upgrade OS X)

What I would like is for downloads to start after I have decide where they will go. I don't want a part temp file built in a folder mobile or whatever. I use windows and this seems to be a problem in all versions. Basically, I would come back where my download will be saved and then for firefox start download file room and all. At the very least, I want to foreshadow where the temporary file is stored for security reasons, but would be better to send it to a place of my choice every time.

  • Impossible to mount the drive external HARD under Ubuntu Linux - file system damaged and MFT

I get the following error when I try to mount my external hard drive on my Ubuntu.

    UNABLE TO MOUNT
    Error mounting/dev/sdc1/media/khalibloo/Khalibloo2: command-line ' mount t 'ntfs' o ' uhelper = udisks2, nodev, nosuid, uid is 1000, gid = 1000, ask dm = 0077, fmask = 0177 "" / dev/sdc1 "" / media/khalibloo/Khalibloo2 "' came out with the exit status no lame 13: ntfs_attr_pread_i: ntfs_pread failed: input/output error".

Could not open the FILE_Bitmap inode: input/output error
    Failed to mount ' / dev/sdc1 ': input/output error

NTFS is incompatible, or there is a hardware failure, or it's a SoftRAID(4)/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows, and then restart Windows twice. Using the /f parameter is very important! If the device is a SoftRAID(4)/FakeRAID then frst activate and mount a different device under the/dev/map/directory, (for example/dev/map/nvidia_eahaabcc1). See the documentation for 'dmraid' for more details.

It is not mount on windows either: "i/o device error".

This is a disk with a single partition hard ntfs

Of course, I tried chkdsk /f. reported several file segments as unreadable, he didn't say if he fixed them or not (apparently not). also tried with the indicator/b.

    ntfsfix reported as corrupted volume.

TestDisk was able to correct a small error with the partition table by adding the '80' for the active partition indicator (only). TestDisk also confirmed that the boot sector was very good and it corresponded to the backup. However, when you try to repair the MFT, he could not read the MFT. He could not also the list of files on the hard drive. It says file system may be damaged.

Active @ also shows that the MFT is missing or damaged.

I tried to replace the USB cable. Has not changed anything. I tried to update the driver. Windows reported that he was already up to date. Yes, the pilot has been activated.

So, how can I fix the file system? or MFT? or the I/o device error?
I used the HARD drive for months. This problem started 2 days ago. I also tried to mount it on other computers, without success.

    Hello

I'm sorry to read about problems with your drive.
Unfortunately, I think that the question is misplaced a bit as your case appears to be the health of your rather external HARD drive that a specific problem related to Linux.

To add clips, if the tools you use have failed to fix your drive, then I do not think that a user 'normal' forum will no longer.
I know it's a fine recommendation and probably just add salt in your wounds: If you really care for files, do a sector backup before doing any file system / partition own modifications.
The reason is very simple - if the tool you use has made a mistake when judging what actions are the right ones, and submit these changes, you move your goal - and fast!
Instead of repairing, the tool can simply corrupt data even further.
Any subsequent change aggravates the disorder exponentially.

Judging by the details in your message, I'm sorry to say that I think your drive is defective, or at least the data is lost.
Of course some companies will probably be able to restore it, but that normally costs a fortune.

Unless you are willing to spend astronomical amounts of money on data rescue, so I suggest to accept data loss and look at what you can do with the HARD drive.
Try to format. No problem, this indicates the drive is defective and must be replaced.

    Sorry for so little help.
