  Looks like you have corrupted graphics drivers or, if there is no graphic material.

  Make sure you have the last "any OS you use" graphics/video drivers installed.

  Go to the website of the manufacturer of the laptop > drivers and download article > key in your laptop model number > then your operating system > find the latest graphics and video drivers for your operating system and download and install.

  If the problem persists and you are still under warranty, contact the manufacturer of the laptop.

  If it is not under warranty, contact a good computer, good reputation and support local repair shop.

  I can not connect when I turn on my computer the error messege says that it has been properly closed. All started when I tried to get my 'new' Hp keyboard to work in ports at the back of the tower. That didn't work so I tried to use my old keyboard in the same port, in vain. All successful going great until I tried to turn my computer on this morning the screen BLACK nothing. The error message says that it computer was shut down improperly and now it will not load.

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Shockwave Flash should not do that. However, if you want to delete it go to programs and features in Control Panel. Click once on Adobe Shockwave Player and click on uninstall in the menu at the top.   What you're doing is confusing in these Forums, as nobody else knows what advice are envisaged for you in other responses.

  Other questions, it seems you have an HP computer.

  Restore the PC to its original state with the recovery discs

  If the PC cannot access the Windows desktop, and the Recovery Manager cannot be started by selecting the f11 at startup key, you can use either the recovery disc custom that you created, or you can order a recovery CD to replace HP, to boot the PC and restore the hard drive to its original operating state.
  

  NOTE: perform the recovery process by using the custom recovery disk you created can take less than an hour, whilst using the replacement disks ordered directly from HP can take four to six hours and includes several reboots.

  System Restore and the temporary files can be placed on your hard drive, but can easily be recovered.

  Try the utility Disk Cleanup to delete files and system restore points that you can safely remove.

  You can start disk cleanup, by doing one of the following:

  • Click Startand then click run. In the Open box, type cleanmgr, and then click OK.

    -or-

  • Click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, point to System Toolsand then click on Disk Cleanup.

    -or-

  • In Windows Explorer or my computer, right-click the disk in which you want to free up space, click Properties, click the general tab and then click on Disk Cleanup.

  Remove files stored on your hard drive

  To remove files stored on your hard disk that you no longer use, follow these steps:

  1. Click Startand then click my computer.
  2. Right-click the disk in which you want to free up space, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the general tab, and then click Disk Cleanup.
  4. Click the Disk Cleanup tab (if it is not already selected), click to select the check boxes beside the files that you want to remove, and then click OK.

     The dialog box Add / Remove Programs is displayed.

  5. In the currently installed programs list, click the program that you want to remove and then click Remove (or Change/Remove).
  6. If you are prompted to confirm the removal of the program, click Yes.
  7. Repeat step 5 and 6 to delete other programs you use is no longer and then click close.
  8. Click OK, click Yes to proceed with this action, and then click OK.

  Delete restore Points

  To delete all points except the most recent restore restore point, follow these steps:

  1. Click Startand then click my computer.
  2. Right-click the disk in which you want to free up space, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the general tab, and then click Disk Cleanup.
  4. Click the Other Options tab, and then under System Restore, click clean.
  5. Click Yes to remove all but the last restore point.
  6. Click OK, click Yes to proceed with this action, and then click OK.

  Hi guys, my hp pavilion dv4 1287cl gets hot and the fan emits noises.
  WHN it has fully charged so I remove the plug charger and it's cold as hell. This only happens when it's warmer and the fan makes noise that is made all day.i use for programming and playing games like minecraft. also it is not sometimes load when it is warmer more when the fan is the production of abnormal voice.

  I'm started to get upset with that I had broken the screen and keyboard (but had then replace them) because it makes him angry.

  I live in pakistan so u kn on load shedding and the electriccity turns off like after like every 8 hours and it freezes.

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  Vista was never released an automatic update of Windows.

  Meadow Vista release and for a short time after, there was a 'special' offer whereby if you bought XP you will receive a free upgrade to Vista.

  That was offered by manufacturers of computers on their XP preinstalled and Microsoft on purchases at retail XP too much memory.

  And you had to contact them about this.

  If we do not know how you got Vista to be able to help you, except how to replace the software.
