TEMPRO, said one of my HARD drives was 75% or more

Hello

I have a Tempro 'Red' alert that says that one of my hard disks reached 75% or more - disk space 111,76 GB Total - free 15,02-GB disk.
When I check, DATA (E :) has Total 73.2 GB and GB free 67.9 and VISTA (c :)) Total 74.3 GB and 35.2 free GB so individually or combined are they to the Alerted level.))

Clicking on the alert details sent me to Toshiba which advises me 'cleaning' (done - to little effect) and "empty IBC" (daily).
Other 'advice' is to buy an external hard drive.

Should I ignore the alert and monitor disk space myself?
I am reluctant to spend alerts, which is a new laptop and I being a relative novice?

Thanks for the pointers!

Hello

TEMPRO is just a monitoring tool and you shouldn't worry about these alerts.
As far as I know the OS Vista creates a small hidden partition which is designed to backup files.

Maybe the Tempro means this partition however, these alerts are not really important and if you wish, you can disable these notifications in settings Tempro.

See you soon

If you're like me and upgraded your iMac that came with a cd/dvd drive internal... so he has to come out to give way to the fusion or the SSD drive, do NOT buy the apple superdrive.  It will work with your computer!

Think I'll get a laptop samsung...

Ironic, isn't it? Own Apple SuperDrive will not work with Apple computers. Shame you don't check here first that we would have warned you. Return Apple overpriced and buy a nice third-party player for a third of the price. I love the LG units. You can consider a loading plate because they are more reliable, and you can use these pesky disc when you get one.

I have mfoundm a message that says S.M.A.R.T. and told me that my hard drive was bad. I replaced the drive hard drive with another drive that has been loaded with xp but it stil is.

I think that the answer to the replacement hard drive is in your question.

I replaced the drive hard drive with another drive that has been loaded with xp but it stil is.

You can not take a hard drive that was in another computer when the Windows installation, place it in another computer and boot from it. You will get a boot loop. It will start to load Windows then suddenly, re - start. This will be repeated again and again. You must install Windows on the disk hard while it is in the computer that you intend to use it with.

You say that you have started from the XP CD, but something is wrong with that
you do. Just boot from the CD and follow the prompts for a

I need to reinstall my CS6 on my PC.  I installed it on this computer for 2 years now, but anyway half of subsequently moved to one of my hard drives and the other half is on the other.  I'm sure to remove both drives and reinstall on the larger hard drive?  I am a student and single MOM, and I can't afford the monthly subscription for the CC7.  If it does not somehow, I'll miss my classes.

If the largest is the primary drive then it is safer than any other installation option, but all uninstall/reinstall can present problems.  If the software currently works very well, I would say that leave well enough alone if your future depends on software work.  Before you delete anything, remember to disable by opening an application and by choosing Help-> Deactivate.

    Hi Marc,

It is a very simple process to replace the hard drive yourself and this will reduce significantly the cost - see the short guide below.

The player at the link below is an example of one that would be perfect for your laptop.

    Hard drive 320 GB

The procedure to replace the hard drive is detailed on Page 41 of your & Maintenance Guide.

Once this is done, simply use your recovery media to reinstall the operating system on the new drive.

If you do not have your recovery media, try the link below to see if you can order a replacement.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00810334

If you have a problem with this link, order them directly from HP - if you need the recovery USB Kit, remember to specify it.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

    Kind regards

  • ELL Demension 2400-error: No. Hard Drive was found - 0

I have one of the old Dell Demension 2400-achete nine in October "2003,

Last week stood up this error on startup: "couldn't find any hard drive - 0 press F2 for set

F1 to continue. "but he never starts.  and there are two quick beeps after pressing PWR.

It is on a WIN XP SP 3

    What I've done so far:

In error, as one of the options was to press F2, I did this and to load or open the BIOS Setup. I did it
    I Look'ed for the HDD in SATA 0, 1, 2, etc...

Next I Open'ed, for the HDD, the option and check if the startup hard disk is displayed correctly. but there are no options to choose, (I expect said "Western Digital 250 GB" or something.

At one point, I noticed that there is a CD in the drawer, however, I removed the seasonal and tried aagin and same error message.

I put in a new hard drive, about a year ago and still have the old HDD
    still somewhere.

    What should I do?

    Thank you

The Dimension 2400 only natively IDE/EIDE drives, not SATA, unless you have installed a SATA controller card.

The IDE hard drive is recognized in the installation system [BIOS]?

The power button LED, green, solid orange, green, orange, flashing flashing or off?

Check the sequence of the four Diagnostic Lights [marked A, B, C, D] on the rear panel, these are then at the two ports, PS/2 (mouse and keyboard).

  • My hard drive was wiped out. How can I log on to the built-in camera?

OK, so one of my lame friends downloaded something that gave my computer a virus, another lame friend erased the hard drive. All this happened so I was missing, so I don't know exactly what it does, but my computer has no images, music or programs except the stuff to sample it came with. There not all products of Microsoft Word, so that he used, or many other programs.

This was not too much a problem, because all I really do is go on the internet, but I would use the camera that is embedded in the computer. Do I need to download a program? Looks like there should be a way I can just access, but I can't understand it.
    Thank you!

    Hello

    Troubleshoot camera connection
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/Troubleshoot-camera-connection-problems

You probably need to recharge the device drivers and camera control software (usually included
with the drivers and installed at the same time).

    Login as an administrator.

Double-click Control Panel / Device Manager - Imaging - writing down of the brand and model of camera.
on this subject and on the tab of the driver is version. Now, click on update drivers (who are unable to do anything as MS
is far behind the pilots of certification). RIGHT click on the camera - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - it
    will update the driver stack.

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the camera and the other related camera
software (if not more recent get the same).

Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each driver.

Manually look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers to 7 (update drivers manually using the methods above is preferred
to make sure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

    =====================================================

Check with the system manufacturer's support, their documentation online and the drivers and ask
in their forum (if there is one) on the need known problems.

    I hope this helps.

I pulled one of the disks 1 to one of the other Dell servers and worry about harming the raid configuration or break the pairing.  Where can I go to see exactly what I do and what I don't have to synchronize the new drive.  I am running Windows Server 2003 R2 on the old server.  Also, even if these discs are the same size, said KA02 on it and says MA08, whatever that means.

This product ID indicates you have part # SW063. I suspect that there is a typing error because this part number does not exist in my file. It seems that you have JW063 which is a SAS 6/IR.

Instructions for replacing a drive in RAID 1 to start at the bottom of page 46 of the SAS 6/iR user guide:

All you need to do is replace the drive. If it does not rebuild automatically, then set the HARD drive as a hot spare replacement.
