TerminalService-RemoteConnectionManager am I get hacked?

Last weekend, I was out of town and used remote desktop to connect to my home computer.

When I looked at the screen this morning, he asks the password, as it always does when I connect remotely.   But there was also a note that "apc.atoipa.com" (it's fake, but it was something like that) logged.

While I guess that's just the Holiday Express that I had signed from, I checked again.

I went to:

Computer management system tools

Event Viewer

Application logs and Services

Microsoft

Windows

TerminalServices-RemoteConnectionManager

Operational

These are, I can see hundreds of lines of 'Information'.     They resemble "information 05/04/2016/261, the ID of the event 15:29:25.

There is a line of information like this for always second.

Problem is that I was on the road home all afternoon on the 4/5, I wasn't on any computer.

Under the 'Détails' tab, I see this kind of text. :

-

  261

  0 x 1000000000000000

  Longbottom

  RDP - Tcp

Can someone tell me what it is?

Microsoft talking to my computer online, in the background?     Maybe update purposes?

Or is someone trying to hack me (is it?)?

You are right, no need to worry.

What you see in the case of the newspapers for the Terminal Server services is normal. What you see is the service listening for incoming connection requests request through the RDP Protocol, it's essentially every second of what you see. It looks like a package which initiates the RDP session.

If you are still concerned about the unauthorized access to your computer, you can enable auditing of logon to your computer. Follow these steps.

1) click Start and then select run

(2) type MMC and press ENTER.

(3) in the MMC console, click file > Add/Remove Snap in

(4) look for the Group Policy object editor and add it

The Group Policy Editor, navigate to:

Computer configuration > Windows settings > security settings > local policies > audit policy

Double-click the events of 'Logon Audit' and activate both buttons.

(Now every time someone signs up successfully or unsuccessfully bad password) will be stored in the event log. To view in Event Viewer go to:

The Windows Logs > Security

I have attached a screenshot with local politics that you would need to change for the audit of just for help.

  • Is it possible that my Wifi to get hacked?

I live in front of a known hacker. I have a wi - fi connection. Can get in my computer? My provider says NO, but I wonder. I wouldn't even want to? I have windows 7 home premium on one and 8.1 on the other. I use them separately. But I use the same device at the same time.

You should take a look at your router's security features. There should be a specific encryption of Wi - Fi [as WPA - PSK (TKIP) or WPA2 - PSK (AES)] and/or a wireless key. They are available but not active, you must activate the. You must also follow generic advice to protect your computers and other devices as well (firewall, antivirus and so on).

Note that a router or modem is likely to be configurable remotely through a web browser.

If possible, you must turn off wireless capability when your not using it. It is not practical to use a Web page to remotely control a router to turn it every time, but if there is a physical switch that you return with your finger, plan to use it. You can also disable the feature of Wi - Fi of the individual device from time to time.

    P.S. I don't personally believe these rumours.

I wasn't there when my account has been hacked.  How is it that compromised the accounts of those who have received the emails not authorized by me.  Should I change to another email account/address e-mail so that they feel safe to receive future email from me?

As for you, if you can still access your mailbox, log in using a web browser, change your password, update the security features, and you should be sure again.

If your mailbox provider allows it, be sure to enable always 'use HTTPS.  That can go a long way towards ensuring you don't get hacked again.

  • How can I know if someone is trying to hack into my system?

    Original title: Hackers

How can I know if someone is trying to hack into my system?

If you see something strange, like move your mouse, you windows open randomly. In some cases, you may not notice anything.

I suggest to do some checking, first run Windows Update and install all updates, if your system is outdated, it is easier to get hacked.

Other than Windows, you must ensure that other applications on your PC are updated such as Java, Flash Player, and if any application asked for the update, please do.

Make sure, of course, install Anti-Malware software and update it.

Run a full system scan with:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

If it detects any threat, you can click on it to read more, some threats are associated with hackers, as spyware that spy on your PC.

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are faced with the question on the network adapter.

I will definitely help you with this.

I suggest you go through the below methods:

Method 1: Try to restart the computer in safe mode with networking:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-10/start-your-PC-in-safe-mode

Method 2: After restarting the computer in safe mode with network, try to perform the check and clean boot if this can help:

A clean boot is executed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This will eliminate the conflicts of software that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in 8.1 of Windows, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista. You can also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

  • First of all, he is a stupid way to have people ask questions.  Why can I not send and email and get a response, as is done on normal websites?  I am looking to buy a student Photoshop version.  I'll NEVER buy in the racket of cloud and have all

This forum is ridiculous. Why a current employee cannot meet a real email? I am looking to buy a student Photoshop version.  I'll NEVER go through the 'Cloud' racket, so my only option is to purchase the software.  Is it possible, or you rely on everyone to be stupid enough to use the trap of cloud and get hacked?

You have the possibility to communicate with customer service, but you'll be in for a long wait, and they do not know the software as many regular users on this forum.   With the help of this forum allows several people help both and let the other people to see answers that might be useful for them.  It's just a way to much to solve your problems.

BTW, as a student, you can get a full subscription of CC for $15 per month.  Which would otherwise cost $50 a month.   Buy all the apps cs6 individually (I don't think that Creative Suite 6 is still available you would cost several thousand dollars and for extremely obsolete software.)  Sounds to me that a person would have to be stupid to spend a lot more for software that was nowhere near as good.

    Hello :-)

My phone was acting very weird lately.

Can someone help me please? :-)

Stop and restart phone to clarify any potential problems the software. realistic, if you do not reboot your phone everyday you can expect a bag with the strangeness of his behavior.

I bought Dashlane Premium two years ago, but have not learned how it works. Entering recently all logins and passwords into the app, I found that the app was incorrectly linked to the old Apple ID. Apple Care advised me to remove all applications in this way then download every app on the new Apple ID great progress began to occur. The Dashlane tutorial help and Forum users is useful. My next project will be of Dashlane allows dajuster each dangerous non-secure password to the next level. The app is now automatically a drop-down window to let me know that it's automatically connect. It doesn't get any better than this.

    Hello

You know, the optimal and safe password manager is pre-installed on your Mac, called Keychain Access located in HD > Applications > utilities?

    I hope you read this > https://blog.dashlane.com/what-if-dashlane-gets-hacked/

Web sites of third parties such as Dashland and 1Password and others are hacking. Indeed, 1Password is hacked https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/42951/my-1password-app-was-hacked

The only safe place to store your login data is in Keychain Access.

  • Upgrade to the latest version - help / about window of Firefox does not display 'upgrade' as in instructions.

I want to upgrade to the latest version but - Firefox Help/About - window does not display 'upgrade' as in the instructions. I can't find a function 'upgrade' anywhere else. How to pass? The version I have is - 18.0.1 - it came with this computer.

In my view, that this computer has been hacked. Word began to do very strange things. We erased the hard drive and reloaded everything as it was originally when I bought it. I'm now get hacked online.

Initially, they got in one of my credit cards last fall. That's when all this started. They had my AOL e-mail address. He also got your credit card balance, the minimum payment, the due date and even then the amount of the payment. They got in my Barnes & Noble account and now order does not. Now I believe that they got on my AOL account - one thing after another began to go wrong. I can't change this AOL user id/e-mail address since it's the captain and I would like to lose about 15 years of "stuff."

The people who sold me this computer told me to use a free version of the antivirus. I'm very unhappy with him. I never had NO problem when I used fresh products of TrendMicro. These people also told me to use Firefox, because AOL uses Internet Explorer - what I already knew is like Swiss cheese.

Now, I can't get an update of Firefox. Is this also a hack?

Please help sort you can. Thank you for your time.

It's probably just the Firefox update problems. go to www.getfirefox.com and download Firefox 20.0.1

  • Prompt password reset iPhone

This morning at 5:00 I tried to check the weather on my phone, but after you have unlocked my phone with my mark, I was asked to reset my password iPhone. I've never seen a guest like this before. To reset, I had to enter my current password. I locked the screen and unlocked with my thumb, hoping even once he would go. I finished my current password and set a new password because I was half asleep and wanted to check the weather, because it was a storm coming in. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? My phone did get hacked?

    Is that what you hear:

Re: 'Change the password in 60 minutes' I did it, does anyone know what this means or if my apps are safe such as on...

    If so, follow the discussions.

However, it is always a choice.

  • How can link shared to me by a friend, I tell if I'm sure?

An old friend of mine, that I have not talked to long sent me a link, it has been shortened with google... like for example goo.gl/r9494randomletters94fjrjg/skypeID = MyName, then I clicked it and it was an advertisement. This person is very good with computers for them to get hacked is therefore quite surprising. I now wonder if in some way I had downloaded anything or how to protect myself?

I work from home to a lot of my contacts are working so I would hate for this to spread to so many people.

So far I have not seen all messages out, I erased my browser history and everything using the CCleaner and I have avast did a scan. Is there anything else that you might suggest?
