This Virus warns a fake?

I was trying to go to a website and instead of receiving a box that had a Safari logo warning me that I visited just a site that has downloaded a virus on my MAC and asking me to click on the button to start a repair. It froze my computer. I did a force quit Safari and restarted. The warning came again and froze things. I clicked on "Startup Repair" and got another box demanding that I have run the repair. I closed and received a warning that all my personal stuff was in jeopardy. Is this true or I get hacked?

All this pop-up message will be a scam.

Force quit Safari, then restart Safari while holding the shift key.

I see the Trojan warning: JS:Illredir - B [Trj] avast

My guess is that someone running avast av will see it.  I don't know if it's a warning wrong or not, but even if this is the case, you have a problem with your avast users until avast corrects the error.

  • False Virus Warning?

I received a "phone (land line) of a person puporting to be from Microsoft and telling me that a new virus had appeared." It was an Indian or Pakistani accent that I could barely understand. The main thing is that I should get on my computer and they would talk me through removing. I explained to him that my computer was just two months, plus I had the latest McAFEE Anti virus software loaded up, but he kept insisting that McAFEE has been usless against this virus and that he should be able to speak to me through the removal of the virus. My PC is working normally and if my PC already has a factory installed on the program to activate the virus removel, then why would I need Mc MCAFEE or any other anti-virus software? It says NOTHING to go to the Microsoft web site to download updates or anything like that, in any case, after a few line seemed to go dead and nobody rang me back. Do you know such a virus or do you think it was a scam to take control of my Pc?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

  • How can I actually email the scan, and how can I check this virus?

    SENDING A SCAN

I am currently using Internet Explorer 8 and want to send someone using Internet Explorer 8

How do I actually email the scan AND how can I check this virus

Internet Explorer is a Web browser, not an e-mail program... To send messages, you need an e-mail account and the recipient needs an e-mail account. You need to know your email address and you must know the e-mail address of the recipient.

Download and run the free versions of these two programs to check the software malicious & software unwanted spies.

    Hello

    1. what exactly happens when you try to open gray files? You get the error message?
    2. where are these files be found?
    3. have you seen any error message on blue screen?

Step 1: Try the fix to the article below and check out them.

When you point to "Programs" on a Windows XP-based computer, the program list does not appear, or the list of programs is empty
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/941248

Step 2: Also scan virus and malware online and check.

Just to add to the answer above, once you have completed the scan with Malwarebytes in SafeMode with network, restart the computer in normal mode, look for the Malwarebytes updates, then perform another analysis.

  • How can I be sure that this virus antispyware XP is off my computer?

Original title: XP ANTISPYWARE VIRUS REMOVAL VERIFICATION

I got the virus XP antispyware 2012 wants you to buy a fraudulent anti-virus program.  It was bought and then refunded due to being fraudulent.  I did complete analysis with MS Security Scanner, Malwarebytes antimalware and Norton Internet Security.  One of the scans found and removed a trojan.gen.2 and a trojan.gen virus.  How can I be sure that this virus antispyware XP is off my computer? I don't want to use any e-mail or password sites until I know.

Suggest you run Malwarebytes, the safety of MS Scanner free scans, the Scanner online Eset (http://go.eset.com/us/online-scanner) and your residents AV program (I guess it's Norton) to ensure that the four are not remnants of malware and you are probably correct.

    The key word is probably.

The only way to make sure your OS is clean after a malware infection is reformatting/reinstalling the operating system.

    Good luck...

Try a stand-alone tool like Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper. You run this without starting Windows, it bypasses the defenses of Malware.

  • I need assistance with obtaining this virus roaming / Redirector.KL removed from my computer

I just did a scan of microsoft security and it detected a file infected after the first hour, but after a good 5 hours or so he stopped and when I went to see the results he said I got this virus roaming / Redirector.KL and it has been partially removed. Sophos, avast, malwarebytes, super anti-spyware, as well as the office depot pc support agent scans did not detect all viruses in safe mode. How to make the other partial party this virus * shut down my computer? Thank you.

    Hi jasonono,

I suggest that you want to run virus scan in safe mode with network.

    Step 1

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Note: When the boot advanced options select Safe mode with network.

    Step 2

    Run Microsoft Online Scanner.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

You can also download & run Microsoft Security Essentials on your computer.
