Text disappears when I place it over an object

I put a picture on a page and you want to place text above.   I created the text with the text tool and he placed on the object.  However, when I put it on the object, the text was no longer visible - you can see the bounding box, but not the text!  How can I place text over an object so that it is always visible?

Do you have 'ignore dressing' unchecked on the text window
(text hightlight/under Framework objects/text box options lower left corner)?

is your text on a layer highter image?

  • How to make text disappear when the mouse is over a button?

    Hello, I'm completely new to Flash, and well I need help. I created a page that contains static text in the Center.

    Page has buttons on the side and when I rollover a button text is displayed, but the problem is that when I rollover a button, static text in the Center is here and I want to hide as I can't read anything either because the texts are overlapping.

    How can I make the text in the centre disappear / hide when I rollover a button and how do I make it reappear when the mouse is the off button?

    I hope what I said makes sense.

    You can assign the code onRollOver and onRollOut buttons to the dispappear of text, but you will need make the text a movieclip with instance name that you can use to target to make it invisible.  In the example below, the button has an instance name of "btn" and the movieclip of text has an instance name of "text_mc".

    btn.onRollOver = function() {}

    text_mc._visible = false;

    }

    btn.onRollOut = function() {}

    text_mc._visible = true;

    }

    Looks like you put it on something that has an applied text wrapping.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

  • Text disappears when I rasterize

    I'm on a PC with Photoshop cc 2015. I have four layers in a group. A text and three gradients. Now I made a copy of the text layer and place it in the top of the group. I go to layer/rasterize/Type, and then the text in this layer disappears.

    I tried Google, but all I can find is this response that tells me that this does not happen in PS CC 2015... Adobe photoshop - pixelated letter disappears in PS6 - Graphic Design Exchange of battery

    Anyway, how I can rasterize the layer AND keep the text? Why would it disappear? Is this a bug or a feature that I don't understand?

    If you rasterize the layer of text - you must always have the type, but not editable anymore. You can post a screenshot of what is going on - what you describe should not happen.

  • Text disappears when changed in white

    Hi, I need help with a problem.

    I have the text on an image (jpg). When I change the text color to white he disappears, but is clearly visible in all color other than white.

    I have searched the forums for answers, but couldn't find anything to fix. A theme comments on the forums for this typeof problem concerns the 'attributes' - in my case, all the options are deselected, with the only non-grisé being "unprintable".

    I am somewhat a novice to InDesign and would appreciate any help I can get. If it is of any concern, I use CS3 in Win7.

    Thank you

    SirStevo sent me the file for diagnosis. The problem was that the block of text, blend mode has been set to multiply.

    Not too surprising, really.  This is what happens when you have white text on white background links.

    {body

    background-color: #FFFFFF; / * It's white * /.

    a: visited {}

    color: #FFFFFF; / * It's white * /.
