  I use af:table in my jsff page. The table contains the column of text entry box. After clicking the Create (+) button, a line has been added to the table. I got value into the text entry field and click the 'OK' button to commit the transaction. When I check the database, the entered value is not stored in the database. What I've observed, it's that if I have more than 1 table in the af: table and after entering the value into the text entry field, if I tab out and control moves to the next line, and then click the OK"" button. This time, the value you entered get stored in the database. It's look like, the value of current row is not updated until the action tab. Please help me solve this problem.

  I have a new MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2015) has problems of text that appears on a regular basis.

  It displays as glyph lettering more highlight in Safari, but here is an example that I found within the iTunes Store.

  Launch the application book fonts and validate all the fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in Help and support article for instructions. If the font book detects any problems, solve them.

  Start in safe mode rebuild the font caches. Restart as usual and test.

  Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or the boot volume is a software RAID, you cannot start in safe mode. In this case, ask for instructions.

• Captivate 9 - text entry area - cannot navigate through the input of text boxes on the same slide using enter key (works only tab)

  I designed a slide that has 3 areas of text entry.

  I need the user to be able to type in their response to the first box and then press the ENTER key, it will pass them in the next text box. After typing in their response to the second box, press ENTER, and then have developed pass to the third area.

  I don't want to use tab, I want to go to work as a shortcut key, so this works well on all devices. It feels like a trip to the logic of the user.

  Indeed, your problem is related to the Enter key as a shortcut key, not to have multiple TEB and one absolutely validation button. Take a look at this article very old (you are not the first to ask about this):

  This is the problem with the validation of a TEB entry using a tip action, there is no way to disable the distinction uppercase / lowercase. It will be possible if you use JS to change the answer to all the capitals before checking it in.

  The way you described the configuration and screenshots, it seems to be behaving exactly as it should.

  I was expecting to see THE text caption every time that you click the submit button.

  Should the lost Focus event fires when the cursor was placed in field ETB and then you move outside this field and click on anything, which of course would include by clicking on the button submit of the BER itself.

  So far I don't see any bug or issue here.  Can you describe what you think that SHOULD be the case?

  I have a text entry field that is named in the box of properties like 'numberOfKids '.

  When the program is run, and a DELETE or BACKSPACE is pressed input textfield turns off

  and all the calculations that use the "numberOfKids" shows NaN.

  I got trapped in NaN and indefinite so that a digital 0 appears instead of a white one.

  There are two problems:

  First problem:

  The cursor to the left of zero, so the first number entered by the user is 10 x larger than what they want.  0 becomes 10.

  Question: How can I get the cursor to the right of 0?

  Second problem:

  When I manually move the cursor to the right of 0 and a number of entry, let's say 4, it appears like 04.

  More important answer first: you get two helpfuls and one correct answer per thread. I think that once you give a specific answer a useful, you can't give the same answer. But I don't know.

  First of all, make sure that none of these text fields have a property of vars set.

  I'm not loving the certificaate widget in Captivate 5 I decided to create my own background image landscape certificate. I added all the text of the certificate to the image so users only things have to do when the lesson of Captivate viewing is enter their name and the date in the text entry boxes. The problem I have is that I do not see a Format tab where I can line up text as I can for areas of legend. Now the names and dates entered by using the text input boxes are entered as left aligned while the background text on the certificate is centered.

  I'm afraid that the answer is Yes.  Several keystrokes are problematic in this way.  You will need to find another shortcut to use.

• Captivate 4 text entry box Bug (?)

  I'm really not sure if it is indeed a bug, or I could just be missing something else.

  I created a very simple project of 30 slides in Captivate 4 with some text entry areas. What is the peculiarity of the ETB, is that they contain a = (equal) sign which must be validated, e.g. = New.  I publish the project in AS3 and whoooah problem occurs.

  I enclose below a screenshot of the published output.

  Have someone else encountered this problem?

  I also discovered that when I move to AS3 to AS2 there is no problem at all.

  If the problem is resolved by deleting the = character in the text box, then I would say that Captivate is tripping over it as if it were a piece of code.

  I would call it a bug, but I know that there are other characters and symbols which have been found to cause problems.  I put the brackets [] once in a CC text and that polluted a project as well.

  Save as a bug or feature request and see what happens.

  In the meantime, you may need to find another way to convey your point in the lesson without using this method of text box?

• How can I view a hand to a button cursor text entry box

  I am using Captivate 5 and have an annoying problem...

  For General click box, there is an option to 'See the hand cursor on the affected area' which will result in the cursor changing to a helping hand when rolling over the click box area in the published presentation.  I want to do the same for the button 'submit' in the text entry box. Is it still possible?  I hope to ensure the coherence of things as a user is clicking on through the presentation.

  I find it odd that it has the same property found on the clickbox because it has the same purpose.  I use a background image screen to simulate an entry in an application, so I'm actually hide the button submit, but the button I want to press lack the hand cursor which would indicate that it is clickable.  I don't want to use a click box to allow the user to switch because I still want a failure in the text entry box to prevent the user from moving.

  Another approach is to use a rollover caption. Just remove any text and set the caption as transparent. Then layer the rollover area over the part where you want the hand to implement a cursor. The net effect will be that the cursor change is made. Clicking on will cause then trigger the underlying Submit button that appers to be invisible and laminated on a picture.
