• InDesign CS6 does not work when you try to change my 10pg doc. Why? Solutions?

  My InDesign CS6 cannot work almost at all when I try to change this 10 page document.  It has great graphics, but still, what do I do?  Do you think that the file is corrupted? My InDesign works well with all other documents.  I've seen this before with a few documents pg 4 which have a lot of pictures.  Should I do the books rather than documents? I've never used the book before setting.

  She pasted art or graphics incorporated? It is a performance killer. Working from a network or removable drive location can be a problem as well.

  You can try to do a save as to eliminate the former change of information, or export to .idml to remove minor corruption. See remove minor corruption by exporting

  Why no text to speech using Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010 on my Vista machine.  It works fine on my XP machine.  "Is IT" did not find anything worng woth the sound system.

  My InDesign CS6 does not open after expiration of CC 15 day trial. The only option is to subscribe to the CC. I don't want to subscribe, I want to use my copy of the CS6. I uninstalled and reinstalled ~ no still no chance.  Anyone know how to open it?

  If you have installed cs6 install the subscription, it will capture your license CS6. Common sense would have been to disable CS6 before install CC as CS6 contains its own (and better kind) CS6 software with more upgrades and possibilities than the old version in a box.

  If you can not install CS6 with your own serial number for this reason, you will need to contact Adobe to reset the activations.

• Place .docx in InDesign cs4 does not work

  I know I must be missing something very stupid, but this is the second project, I had this problem.

  My teacher told us to put our Word documents rather than copy and paste.  I have master pages with columns and text boxes.  On the page where I want the text, I did ctrl-shift-click to activate the box...

  I tried to place my .docx and nothing appears.  I don't get the cursor changed to who has demonstrated that he is 'hanging' there either.  I tried to choose the text tool and get the flashing cursor in the box text, then using the place and it still does not work.  I clicked on just try to hang on the slider, but nothing.  What step am I missing?

  There are a number of things that could happen. One is that the docx should start with a page break or an item that is too large to fit on the page, in which case it bumped to the next page or are not visible at all. Use the 'editor' mode to see if there is any text in the history, or find a symbol of overset text (a red sign in a box) in the bottom right of the text column.

  It could also be Microsoft Weirdness - I got used to simplify files in Word before you try to place them. Turn off "track revisions" and click "accept all changes" and save or even save again in the .doc instead of docx format in case there is something that hangs the Indesign import filters.

  I encountered a problem that the grabber hand does not move the pic with in his framework more.

  I can move the pic with the arrow keys, but the hand tool does not work the icon shows but the function does not work.

  I tried quiting, but did not work. was working fine yesterday. don't know what's changed since then.

• Replace the text of the expression of the external source of AE CS6 does not work in AE CC

  We used expressions in AE CS6 project to fill the text from an external file. Here is an example:

  It works fine at the CS6. When we open the file in AE CC, expressions cannot find the file data.txt to pull the text from. All we get is the error of "text not found." We intervened through debugging and the data.txt file does not open / not found.

• PDF in InDesign files does not work

  Hi all, this is my first post on the Adobe community.  I have a problem arose last week and I'm going crazy.  Help, please!  I'm running on a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.7.5.

  I have been using a workflow to create tables in InDesign for months without any problem:

  1 calculate a complex table in Excel

  2 paste the table into PowerPoint for formatting

  3. copy the table in PowerPoint, then paste it returned as a pdf image

  4 option-click on the pdf image on the slide to save it as a pdf file

  5. go to a picture InDesign who already has a linked picture, again the link to the new pdf file.

  This workflow has been very helpful because I have a lot of complex and carefully set tables in form, I need to get into InDesign.  Now, since upgrading both my Microsoft Office 2011 and my Adobe CS6 SW it does not.

  I can copy, paste-as-pdf, save the pdf file.   But when I try to link to it in InDesign we get the message "cannot open the pdf file.

  I always followed the old files to pdf without problem, and I can use this workflow on the pdf text of PowerPoint files.  Pdf files that contain tables do not bind in InDesign.  I tried to make the past-as-pdf in Microsoft Word and the behavior is the same.

  All PDFs in Acrobat air.

  I get the same results here that you get, and I see no reason for this. I was able to open the PDF file in Illustrator (not something I would recommend most of the time, but this file has no text) and re-register without any changes and it ended. I think it must be something that adds Mac Quartz or leaving out, but I can't say what.

  They really are paintings rather than what we normally consider as tables. Do you have Illustrator? It would be easy enough to replicate these in Illustrator directly (and not so difficult to ID using traditional tables with different fills blank cells), but if you're comfrotable in Excel, it is generally recommended that Excel graphs pasted in Illustrator and then put in memory in PDF format.

• Read selected text, Indesign CC does not

  I used to be able to select text in Indesign, and she started to read back to me. Is it not simply reads the file name. I find it very useful to have the text read to me for proofing. Help, please!

  There is a difficulty

  1. exit InDesign

  2. click on Finder, go at the top of the left side and choose go > go to folder.

  3. in the dialog box go to the folder, type "~ / library" and click go.

  4. open the folder Preferences > Adobe InDesign > Version 11.0 > en_US or en_GB (case of the United Kingdom)

  5 rename en_Us, en_GB at en_GB.old or en_US.old

  6. then again back in the library panel< go="" to="" cache="">< adobe="" indesign="" and="" com.="" adobe="" indesign="" (you="" may="" only="" have="" one="" of="" these="">

  7 rename both the adobe indesign_old folder

  8. launch inDesign and text-to-speech should now work.

• Find + replace text (string constant) does not work for screw Statechart module

  I tried to do a mass find + replace a string in my code. Using Ctrl + F, LabVIEW 2012 correctly locates all the places where this string exists, including within the States transitions guards who have paths in this form:

  XYZ.lvsciagram.vi / Transition: Guard - diagram, Transition, data/part

  However, when I've specified that a replacement string, then click on 'Replace all', only 'normal' instances of screws replaced - instances in my diagrams had not changed.

  What is going on? Is there anything else I need to do?

  Looks like those that does not include how to find and replace is implemented in LabVIEW. You can try to replace just the statechart and see if that makes a difference, but it may simply not work.

• InDesign shortcuts does not work

  I just installed indesign on a macbook pro, but shortcuts do not work as they do in illustrator.

  No idea why? I've done this before on a pc and it worked without any problem.

  I tried everything and nothing worked but I talked to our guys to IT and they said that the problem was with anti virus program:

  Entry keyboard secure on OSX interferes with keyboard shortcuts within InDesign CC 2015.

  Disabling this function restores the keyboard shortcuts

  Everything works fine now!

• Export InDesign CS6 does not

  I use Indesign CS6, on Windows 7.

  Export in jpeg and PDF export has stopped working.

  This is what happens:

  • When I export to JPEG, without export window appears, and nothing is exported.
  • When I export in pdf, in some cases no window appears.  But sometimes, an export window appears and I can choose the presets, but all options are empty gray windows

  (I created a new document with only a textframe with a single word, to test generate them screenshots.)

  • When I close then, indesign crashes!

  I tried the following:

  • Restart the pc
  • cache cleanup
  • export from a new file almost empty
  • Recreate InDesign preferences files
  • generate a PDF from my Illustrator file still works

  A few days earlier, things worked again perfectly.  I don't know what has changed since then to make export stop working.

  Any help would be appreciated,

  I deleted the complete C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version 8.0

  It's working now.

  Yet to know what settings are lost now, but at least that I can continue my work.

• My registered copy of Illustrator CS6 does not work after uninstall of CC-message to "renew your subscription CC.

  I have a bought copy and saved to Illustrator CS6 - I cancelled my creative cloud subscription after one year and ran the program uninstall and the tool of 'clearing '. Now when I try to run Illustrator CS6, I get a message telling me to 'renew my subscription creative cloud. " I just want to use my legal version and the seat of Illustrator CS6.

  If I uninstall CS6 I'll be off permissions since my last hard drive failed without the possibility to Deauthorize the software.

  I went through the 'chat' support and said after 90 days, there was no support-am I stuck just throw my Illustrator CS6?

  No, you should be able to get a count of AI activation reset, but it's not like you need.

  Uninstall AI cs6.

  clean the cs6 by http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

  Restart your computer

  and reinstall AI cs6.
