How to clear the print queue on printer HP 4620?

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

    OfficeJet Pro 8500 wireless.

    Hi hjones,.

I understand that you have a wireless Officejet 8500 which becomes ads on the screen that you want to stop. I will definitely do my best to help you with this.

What ads you see on the screen?

Your printer is connected to a wireless network?

Your printer is connected directly to a wall outlet? If this isn't the case, please move to one.

What is the Officejet Pro 8500 you have, or should I say 8500 a on the front of your printer?

Once I have this information, I can consider this issue further.

  • Manually clear the print queue in Windows 8

Sometimes, when you go to print, it may get stuck in the queue. This may be due to several problems such as communication lag or a mistake. Is there a way to manually clean the print queue, so that you can ensure that no print jobs are following other print jobs. The video below will show you how to manually clear the print queue in Windows 8.

  • Envy 4500: Envy very slow to print 4500

I have a craving for 4500 and it takes several minutes to print a single page.  The status bar indicates it is connected to the computer and the bar moves that printing takes place, but it's really slow!  Any suggestions?  I have a Macbook with OS X Yosemite.

Welcome to the HP community @tsuzannenc,

I've read about problems you encounter with your printing is slow, when printing from your Mac running 10.10, and I wanted to tender hand to try to help outs! Before you begin, try to make a copy or two in front of your desire to 4500. If copies are too slow, try a reset of the power and try to reproduce again. If the copies to work correctly, go to the procedure below.

    Reset the power supply:

    Turn on the printer.
With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.
If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

Please, try the following steps in the order and try to print again to edit text.

    1. Reset the printing system
    2. Repair disk permissions
    3. Restart the Mac.
    4. Click here to download and install the complete driver: HP ENVY 4500 series full feature software and drivers

  • Every page on my site has a clear red color that fills the area within the margins.  How to get rid of it?

Every page on my site (not yet published) has a clear red color (maybe partially transparent red?) that fills the area within the margins.  My wife was working on a page, when it happened - they only thing she could think of was that she might have hit the 'function' button and the ' key (immediately to the left of the "Enter" button).  I've been playing with it and research online for the answer, but have failed so far.  Any ideas?  It's probably something CRAZY... stupid easy feeling.  (=) Thanks for any help you can give!

You can print from IE?  OE uses the print engine that uses the IE, so if you cannot print from IE, then you won't be able to leave OE.  See also www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#10, even if it is a little dated.

If you cannot print from IE, see Help. On IE and what version it is?

  • Black text cartridge problem C410a - no or almost no printing ink on paper

I have a C410a and simply put in cartridges new (all). When I print a test page within the HP Solutions software since the test page is perfect. When I print a test page for the only visible bit Windows printer properties is the 4-color logo in the upper corner. When I print from MS Word I get only the text in color, no black text. If I change the color of the text to do anything otherwise black, printing using color fine ink cartridges.

I tried to change to normal Fast project at best in print quality settings. There is no visible text either in fast draft mode. In Normal mode, there are barely visible black text. In best mode it is faded black text.

I went through the steps on the HP site problems, and this has done nothing to solve the problem. I cleaned the contacts on the head, still no help.

After I put the cartridges again the black text cartridge to print a few pages and they were fine, then all of a sudden, there was nothing of this cartridge. The old previous cartridge was the same way - sometimes it print and sometimes it does not. Without rhyme or reason, just feel random and print do not.

Is there a way to check if there is something blocking the ink to come out of the cartridge or through the cartridge holder (or whatever we call it)?

There is a document with measures to try to follow located here.

If you have already completed the steps in the document, then most likely you are to the "eight Solution: replace the print head." If this is the case, then we have two options here. The first thing I would do is determine the status of the guarantee to the printer using the HP product warranty verification tool.

If the printer is under warranty, then I would contact HP Technical Support on this printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, so we have two options. You can order the print head with product number CN642a HP parts store online. You can look into making a print head soak. The information for this in the thread located here.

    I hope this helps.

  • very light gray printing black ink

I changed all my cartridges and black ink is printing very light - a light gray. I returned for a new cartridge, cleaned the heads and I always have the same question. All other colors seem to be good. A test page, colors only print so I can't tell if black is currently tested-help!

I have a HP Photosmart Plus B210 Series.

I was finally able to fix my problem.  I have reviewed the information contained in these positions; do you have the power off/power on, disconnect/connect to cables, resetting on the ink cartridge, the printer align (which was missing); However, after completing all the steps a few time the option Clean Printhead finally cleared up my problem.  Black ink is printing now.

Thanks to everyone who posted and help me solve my problem with printing in black ink.

  • HP Officejet 4620: HP Officejet 4620 only ink red print documents computer

    Hello

I'm connected wireless to my printer HP Officejet 4620. I use the XP operating system (I know very dated) I am trying to print Word documents and they are just an impression in red ink. When I try to run "Clean printhead" function black ink prints fine through the printer. Can someone help me or explain the reasons for which the documents are only printing red ink through my computer?

    Thank you for your time,

    Steph

    Hey @StephyB,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that e-all-in-one Officejet 4620 prints in red when you print from Word on your Windows XP computer. I can help you with that.

Probably what is happening is there is a font setting that has been changed in Word. If you are unable to find such a context, then the following can be done:

    1. Close any programs you have open.
    2. If the printer is connected via a USB cable, remove it.
    3. Click on start, control panel and printers.
    4. Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
    5. Click on remove the instrument.
    6. Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.
    7. Uninstall the drivers and the software associated with the printer.
    8. Download the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

Please let me know if this allows you to print in black. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please post it by clicking the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • Why is my red print?

I do not change my impression or text color.  Everything prints in red and I don't know how to fix it.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you

    [Transferred from Internet Explorer]

This problem seems to be widespread enough to HP 6500 series all-in-one printers.  I don't have a good answer for you.

See this Google searchand especially these two hits:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/other-printing-questions/help-HP-OfficeJet-6500-won-t-print-black-text/TD-p/341660

In particular, I suggest to print a test page using the printer only controls (see 'six Solution' to the last link above).  That should at least close things down for the printer (if the test page shows a problem) or Windows (if the test page prints OK).

If it is a printer problem, ask for help in the forums of HP--> http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Printing-Questions/Help-HP-Officejet-6500-Won-t-print-Black-text/td-p/341660
