• Can not leave completely insensitive - Firefox, use Safe Mode, reinstall or uninstall

  I installed Firefox less than a month ago. Two days ago, that he left suddenly during the navigation. This does seem like a problem, really - I thought I would just restart - but it REMAINS open. Shows the icon in my dock (on Mac), and the menu bar appears when I click on the icon. I can browse the menu selections but can not choose one.

  I can't:
  -Leave Firefox - from the menu or with Ctrl + Q
  -Open a new fenΩtre
  -Open help
  -Access to "troubleshooting information.
  -Select "restart with modules disabled...". »
  -Use the Safe Mode

  Because I can not use Safe Mode and cannot leave the program, I have IMPOSSIBLE:
  -Uninstall (it refuses to remove, because the program is 'open', as it won't leave)
  -Reinstall (I can't substitute the existing because the program is 'open')
  -Remove my dock
  -.. pretty much anything else.

  I've read many articles dealing with troubleshooting, Safe Mode, reinstall clean, etc, but unfortunately I can't make one of these because Firefox is open but completely insensitive.

  (PS - I tried to install the below troubleshooting information, but, even once, because Firefox is not responding, I couldn't open it lol - there was "no application available" to read it.) I can't go through the manual steps because I cannot access the troubleshooting information in the Help menu and so cannot even begin step 1.)

  If anyone has any suggestions, I would be VERY happy! I thank very you much for your time and help!

  If qutting, it's because of the questions are now trying down option as you click the icon in the dock and choose force quit from the list!

  Also you have tired Fox fire rest functionality (otherwise said if your power to access)
  To do:

  1. Go to Firefox > help > troubleshooting information.
  2. Click on the button 'Reset Firefox'.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.

  in this forum I read that there should be an "import Windows XP Mode VM" - option in the file menu if the Windows XP Mode is installed.

  But I installed XP Mode W AFTER VMw Player. Later, I tried a repair of VMw Player and later a de - and reinstall to see if the option appeared then - but no.

  Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get the option to appear - or should I just create a virtual machine from a XP pro CD?

  Host system is a Windows 7 pro with no hw virt

  I found the problem. You must install the Windows XP Mode feature in Windows 7 to option to appear.

• Unable to access the hyperlink in text Mode

  It is a new problem. All of a sudden, when I'm in text mode I is more now have the hyperlink options in the toolbar above. They re - appear only when the entire text is selected. So I can not link text to another page.

  Someone at - it a solution or explanation? I missed something or is this a bug?

  OK... so I saw that someone had posted, but had not received your comments here, I'll be back to post the answer incase someone else ends up with this. As you can see, nobody helped me... ;-(

  By chance I discovered the problem:

  Resizing of the window. If you reduce the width of the window, functions disappear. Expand the window and they reappear.

  I lost a week of work because of this time. Hope this helps someone else.

• How to make "In line with text" as default option

  I use 5.6 Pages to deal with certain documents that have a lot of pictures. When I paste an image of the document, the default option of "skin" for the image is "automatic", I have to manually change the "inline with the text" option each time and drag it to the right place, it's extremely frustrating. Is it possible to put "in line with text" as default option when I paste a picture?

  Click in the text where you want the image to be inserted.

  Dough.

  If the focus is on the text, the image will be stick like 'Move with text;' if emphasis is placed on an object (eg. an image that does not move with the text), the image will stick like "rest on the Page.

• I refreshed firefox and now all the firefox help is in text mode.

  I updated and updated firefos and now all infterfaces help and firefox are in text mode. Ohe sites are very good. I am running windows xp sp3. all modules and extensions are disabled

  OK - I solved it... My date in my calendar was bad!

  I try to install the Client Oracle v 11 (latest version) 32 and 64-by-side in Win 7 64 bit, 8 GB of RAM

  This isn't the Instant Client, but the "regular".

  I run the Start.Exe. In the 32-bit Setup program I select the installation type 'Runtime' and it installed fine. Then I restarted and tried to install the 64 bit version of the same Client v 11, but the 64-bit installation starts, I see the text/mode command window and then it closes and nothing happens

  I am trying to install in the following folders:

  C:\app\ < myUserName > \product\11.2.0\32 bit\client_1

  and

  C:\app\ < myUserName > \product\11.2.0\64 bit\client_1

  Any help will be appreciated

• Text with predefined options

  I'm sure that this question is answered somewhere in these forums, but I searched a bit and can't seem to find the right keywords.

  Every month report us to our client that is structured in different sections. All sections may or may not have shipments this month, so at the end of each section we write one of theses "there is no delivery this month" or "deliveries are in Appendix A.

  What we usually do is copy and paste the text for each item, but it of a nightmare to scroll and can potentially cause errors.

  I was wondering if there is option in inDesign (scripted or built) and where I can choose only one of a list of options as opposed to writing predefined. Text variables with options drop-down menu, if you don't mind.

  I'm not familiar with javascript, but tried that discusses this topic (link), but could not go too far.

  Any ideas?

  Rather than have a lot of scripts in 1 line, it allows you to choose your text in a menu:

  Repeat for the texts as much as you want.

  There is no error checking here - so make sure you have the cursor flashing in a block of text, and then type the correct number!

• What is the secondary text Mode?

  On phones with classic phone keypad, secondary text mode usually iTap or not.  What does secondary text on Karma?

  I see no difference when you type a message with the secondary text mode on or off.

  Usually on other phones, you have been able to set. So, for example, I have Spanish as my secondary iTAP and iTAP English as my first. If I am crazy, I switch to Spanish. Usually, you press the star or hash key and it switch back to MultiTap, if that's more your style.

• Display the text in html option grayed out in canvas mode

  Does anyone know why is the rendering of text html option grayed out in canvas mode?

  Need of this option so that the text box, I created able to get dynamic content html from the server. Thank you

  Easeljs does not support html, text, yet.

  You can change that in the file js added, however.

• My Menu "Right click" on the links of text contains EACH Option of the Menu popup (or absent) and does not...

  When I right click on a text link (for example to "save the link under ' or 'Copy link location' etc.) the right click Menu that includes options for either:

  (a) EACH context menu (including images and videos and more... similar to this http://prntscr.com/z0k15 )
  (b) some of the relevant options, but not all (e.g. Save link as)

  ... in both cases, none of these options work, making it pretty useless right click Menu.

  This happens when a right click on the video or good Images. They work as usual. It is just text links.

  I tried:
  -Refreshing Firefox
  -Restart in Mode safe
  -Disabling the Extensions one by one

  None of this has worked.

  Any help would be massively apppreciated!

  Hi Toniy, please try to reinstall firefox with the full installer available through https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

• Firefox cannot download addons, and Web pages may not load correctly. Safe mode, reinstall clean do NOT help

  So, basically, I've upgraded to windows 10. Everything works great, except firefox. When I loaded the first Win10 I was unable to access the settings of firefox at all. Homepage has been giving an error message, all the sites of firefox support gave error messages and I couldn't solve this problem. I thought that a simple reinstallation would work. First time around, I just installed on it. Here parameters and firefox pages working again, but now I get only half of the page to load. I am also unable to install addons. Since I reinstalled firefox several times by deleting files in the temp, the app data, registry files, you name it. If it is a related file from firefox, it was removed as a result of the pick up and other sites.

  Nothing works... I am degraded using Chrome, which as I recently discovered didn't even flashgot...

  Problem 1) Firefox Web pages not loading properly. Settings, support, addons, etc..
  Problem 2) I can not install addons, probably because of problem 1.

  PS. I searched the site and went through all the tips for safe uninstall mode, but I can't seem to find anything about it. Thank you for your help.

  in case you're an avast user, please try to disable https scanning in avast:

  1. Open the Avast dashboard on an affected system.
  2. Select settings in the left side menu.
  3. Adopt a Protection Active.
  4. Click on customize next to the Web Shield.
  5. Uncheck the option "Enable HTTPS analysis", and then click ok.

  To help determine if we will buy Captivate I create some projects using the 30 day free trial s/w.

  I want to see how it's easy to build a complete simulation of the software in mode "let-me-try." Before you create the simulation, I think I should first set up my preferences: via Edition > Preferences > turn on 'Click boxes' and 'text entry areas ".

  However, click "boxes &"Text entry areas"are dimmed (grayed out).

  The 'Help' function did not work either in this free trial 30 days, so I do not get the help popup screens!

  My questions are:

  (1) if I could turn on the 'click boxes' & 'Text areas' before creating the simulation, would this setting take effect for each slide?

  (2) does anyone know if I can activate the 'click boxes' & "Text entry areas" on the 30 day trial s/w?

  Think you misunderstand these preferences. When you perform a capture of the software, you have the choice to mark different options: demonstration, training and assessment. You can even choose to have all the which will create 3 different files.

  In preferences, registration, Modes, you will see the default setting for each of these modes and you can tweak that as well. A custom mode is also possible. This configuration will decide what happens when you choose a Capture mode: an example adds the mouse will happen only in demo mode, not in training and assessment.

  During the capture, if you keep the default settings, the CP will pass to FMR (full motion recording) for sliding movement & and mouse. With Captivate 6, if you want more quality for these 'video' slides, you register them better with the new video mode, but then you will need to insert the gliding record yourself (Insert menu).  Another tip: try in the recording settings replace the default text (bitmap) shaped captions smart (activate Demo Mode), they are much more editable (and vector base).

• Search for text in the option in Windows Search 4.0 Preview pane doesn't work do not

  I use XP SP3.  I recently downloaded Windows Search 4.0.

  When the Windows search results window opens, I noticed that it is possible to search for text in the preview pane.  I click on a file and go to OPTIONS > COMPONENT of VISUALIZATION, but see that FIND is grayed out and unavailable.

  This function worked before, when I loaded Windows Search first; now, it no longer works.  My files have been fully indexed; and I made no changes to the computer since then.  I tried to restart the computer, but there was no change.

  I recommend trying a system restore to see if that solves the problem. Try this:
  1. click on START

  2. click on "all programs".

  3. click on "Accessories".

  4. click on "system tools."

  5. click on "system restore."

  6 follow the prompts shown to restore your system to a date before the problem started. Although the system restore does not target the personal data, it is recommended that you back up all data such as music, photos and documents in case something is not bad.

  I am trying to download the mod too many items for Minecraft 1.8. I followed a tutorial and at some point, I need to open a JAR file with my archives. I right click and go to open with, and my archives does not appear. All that comes is Java (TM) Platform SE binary. I click on it and nothing happens. I try to understand why it does not give me the option to choose my archives online, but I turn upwards with nothing. I was looking around on my computer for my archives, but I can't find anything. I use windows 8. I would appreciate help from someone.
