  Hello! Below, I'll demonstrate how to have vertical text in two different ways.

  Example 1:

  1. below, I have a graph and want to label the vertical axis.

  

  Select the text tool, and then the Vertical text tool.

  

  2 with the vertical Type tool, I tap on my vertical label.

  

  3 with the move tool, then I can orient the text in a position desired, as shown in the examples below.

  

  

  If this isn't the desired orientation of the vertical type you would like. I have the example 2 below.

  Example 2:

  1. After typing my text vertically with the Vertical Type tool (in example 1), I want to move to a horizontal position. I can go up to the options panel and select the icon "show/hide text orientation", surrounded by below. It will pass the text back and forth between vertical and horizontal.

  

  

  2 after the passage of the text to be horizontal, I want to change the orientation of the text, so it is aligned with my vertical axis.  Go in Edit > transform > Rotate as shown below.

  

  3 you want to can Rotate the text as indicated below.

• PSE7 Newbie - want to add text at the bottom of the photo.

  I know that it's really a fundamental question, but all I want to do initially is add text at the bottom of a photo and I want to use layers.

  1. I don't even know if it's the right sequence, but first of all, I get the picture (from file-> open in the editor).

  2. then, I create a text layer, but the layer is created the same size as the photo.

  I don't want the text on the photo, I want the text somewhere under the photo.  I discovered that I can move the Photo up and put the text below, but I lose the top 1/2 inch or more of the picture.

  Lets say I have a picture that prints 4 x 6 as a photo.  This money which, according to me, that I need is an editor window with the photo at the top with an empty space, 1/2 inch or so, photography, a place that I can put a text.  I realize that when I print a photo 4 x 6, the photo itself is only 3 1/2 x 6, but I don't think that ius here everything what I can do about it.  The point is that I want / need the photo to print with no cropping (Group hphoto with heads next and above).  Am I even explain it properly.

  I got something of almost works using resize the canvas, but ran into problems when you try to change the color of the cloth - and I don't want to get into this problem now (unless I have to).  It seems to me that I should be able to do it with just a couple of layers, the layer of text photo and t - I just do not find haoe to resize the layers to accomplish what I want to do.

  So I explained it clearly enough.  I can do with just a couple of layers.  Is it as simple as I think it should be.

  The addition of canvas adds to the whole image.

  You don't want to resize, just to enlarge the canvas itself. Set your background color to what you want the new canvas, then go to Image > resize > canvas size. Click on the top square of the Center to the point of reference and change only the length, the width of no, the canvas.

  The vertical-align property is rather strange. If I remember correctly, it works only with items inline, such as images and table cells.

  To move your text to the bottom of the footer, add padding-top: 200px; to the #footer rule.

  All of a sudden the main content on my page Web Design, IE6 pushing the text to the bottom of the page. I do not understand why, but I guess I have changed something... all other pages are ok and were created from the same template.   Remove the labels to all about "discounts are available for the charities,

  IE6 is not calculating the width of the block element properly due to the
  italics.

  a simple letter at the end of this line, envelope of the letter to the other
  line.

• How to make floating text at the bottom of the image that is 100% screen

  My jpg image works perfectly 100% if she grows as widens the window of the browser.

  But the text that I placed just below the image doesn't move, therefore, as increases the size of the image. The text remains in the same place regardless of the size of the browser window. So I have to have a large space below the image so that the image will not cover the text as the image grows. How can I make the text stay directly below the image at 100%, as it develops? The text should move from its position as the image grows.

  Here's a site that does exactly what I want. I need to content of the site always float upward or down to stay directly below the image. In the following case, the entire purpose of the site always float upwards or downwards based on the size of the browser window.

  You can use image fill or fill browser page and place the block of text as a width of 100%, where the two must be resized according to the size of the browser.

  The text will not move to different positions on the page but probably will resize itself.

  Don't know what I'm doing wrong...

  I'm creating a circular logo.

  It consists of a circle, another smaller circle inside it (which contains text) and an image at the Center.

  I want to make the bottom of the space between the two circles (behind text) of color.

  But when I use the live paint, it will fill all - covering the text and the image.

  What should I do?

  In this case, it's pretty simple: you need not direct paint at all. Instead, just make a compound path of the two circles. Object > compound path > make

  You may need to release the object of direct painting first. Object > live paint > release

  You could also try and fill the inner part of your live paint object with 'None '.
