• How do the flow of text in a field to another. It cannot be a multiline field.

  "Not good" means that you lose at least one character during the movement of the raw material to the second, and you also cannot come back in the second field of the first when you use the BACKSPACE key.

  I would advise against trying it. If you can, re-design the form so that the two lines start at the same position and then use a multiline field. If you are unable to do this, simply leave the fields being independent of each other. The user will be able to tab between them.

• Reverse the flow of the text along a path?

  I have created a path to the oval text using a shape tool.  When I type along the top of the track, the lettering is flowing as it should.  When I type the lower part, it is upside down and backwards because the stream is the same as the top.  How to reverse the flow of the text at the bottom is the place and reads left to right?  Can't find info on how to reverse the direction of flow.  Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  OK, finally successful: Type around the top half above the lettering.  Reposition the tool text down and continue typing, even if upside down.  Select the path Selection tool, drag the text down to the INSIDE of the oval that will right the text correctly.  Select the text that you want to go then it appears highlighted, go to the window "Select the vertical offset" (not the slider to the left of it) and press down as many times until it is aligned with the bottom of the oval, in my case about - 5.  For larger slices of movement, hold the SHIFT key while pressing the down arrow key to count 10 movements.  The upper part of the lettering will line up correctly with the oval shape.

  Hello. I have not figured this out and could use some help.

  I know I can drag images from the finder into an InDesign doc and even pull the frame size by.

  I know that I can cut the object (image) and paste it into the text flow so that my screenshots going on with the text.

  Is my question, there a way to drag images (screenshots) directly in the flow of the text?

  Or y at - it a setting where the area of the image runs automatically the text when dragging into the document. Thank you, it will save a lot of cutting travel time, then repasting in the text stream.

  I don't think so. Because when you're dragging to the desktop (or Adobe Bridge) and you enter the InDesign page, the cursor is expected to create a new image, or (if it is on an existing framework), replace the contents of this framework. But the manufacturing process of an anchored object requires the use of the text tool to make a text insertion.

  If you select a textframe, you already have a textframe. So, if you choose app.selection [0] .textFrames [0], this means an anchored within a textframe textframe.

  And: You try to create your textframe on page 1. But you must add the new textframe on the page following the page of your choice.

  As FAS so I understand it, the alignment entries apply only to HTML format, so they do not affect the Standard reports.

  Try to put your logo in the header of the standard report.  Then on your front, create a tab control, where you place your text box and graph of arrow in the direction you want to print on the page.  Make the background of the transparent tab control and add the image of the tab control to the report.  I think that it will be justified to the left little matter what you prefer, so play with the size and spacing of everything until it comes out looking how you want.

  (1) make sure that the subform/Page parent in which you have repeating field has the content value sank

  (2) make sure that the option "allow Page break in content" is checked

• CC text frame re-flow?

  Just upgraded from 5.5 to CC and a feature that I found particularly handy seems to have disappeared, or miss me a setting. I looked through preferences, but don't think I've seen what I was looking for.

  In CS5.5 and previous, when you drag the width/height of your text around the text inside the box would be automatically re-sent to adapt to the area while you had your mouse clicks to the bottom.

  Now in CC, the text won't be re-flow until you release the mouse button, resulting in duty click and resize several times to adjust the text correctly.

• How to use frames embedded in the flow side-by-side?

  I work in a bilingual document with two flow side-by-side and I can't find a way to add an anchored frame that runs through the two columns (to host a graphic example).

  I could manually split the flow after the necessary line and add a frame between them but this document is revised every two months (adding and removing large amounts of text) and it would be time to too demanding.

  Do you have a tip for me?

  The anchored frame will affect only the content of the stream it is poured in. So, if you have a document of two streams, one had placed in a column will never affect the content in the second stream. A graphic image that spans the two columns and has a runaround property brings the text to break around in the two frames. However, the graphics framework is bound to a location on the specific page and is not float with the content changes.

  

  If the content in the two streams is synchronized in space, i.e. each paragraph into two streams begins at the location of base and graphic design is common to both, then you can simply use a framework anchored in each anchored column right or left to create an overlap of 100% and place the image in one of them.

  Alternatively, you can use a graphic image through both flow and create a script that automatically re - positions a graphic image, perhaps related to a single marker in the two streams as the indicator of proximity.
