Text on Web sites does not appear correctly

I'm having trouble with text showing incorrectly on pages. It's a random event, on Web sites, at different times. And this isn't even all of the text on this page. It was only certain sentences or some articles.

Hello jessjess7, try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

Then perform the following steps:

  • Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
  • In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
  • You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
  • Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

    Once the Web Master tools is set up, Google has documentation to find out how to submit the sitemap.xml. Muse generates this file to the root of your site.

    Many web sites does not not with correct format minus 8.0 but work fine with IE. At first glance, my internet connection has problems because the text was load but the format and images had problems, but not the internet connection. Example is www.msnbc.com or www.blueovalnews.com

    Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

    ESET is a potential suspect in any secure connection because, by default, it intercepts all navigation connections to filter harmful content.     So you could always be connected to the wrong server if you make a typing mistake in the URL and someone said that mistyped the URL.

    If you go through creative cloud and your 5 free sites that you do not pass BC for this. The sites are a special basic plan.

    So a proposal based on the information you have provided I would say... One of your 5 free sites has a name and shows in your drop down list Muse. You went to BC and made a website with a similar/same name. You see the other site, not the trial eCommerce you think you do in your drop down list Muse... Or conversely where the preview is the CC of the not e-commerce site a.

    A particular website does not load, and I was previously able to view this site about 2 weeks ago. It's a free WordPress site/blog.

    I keep getting the error message "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I've tried deleting all cookies and emptying the cache with no success. I also tried a "DNS Flusher" with the same result.

    I followed all the recommendations on the link using Firefox and checked the FAQ and community sections with no luck.

    I can view the page in Safari. The owner of the website can view this website using a configuration similar to mine (Mac OS 10.5, Firefox 12.0).

    Nothing I know have changed since I was able to view this site 2 weeks ago for example, I'm not going through a proxy server, nor do I have any secondary security or anti-virus running.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    This Web site does not work with a Firefox 12 user agent.

    That behavior is likely to be the top caused by an add-on, and in your case the probable guilty is IE Tab 2, the different versions of IE Tab caused problems with Firefox 4 beta, including issues with the location bar not updated.

    You can test to see if IE Tab 2 is causing your problem by disabling the it and then see if the address in a new window bar displays the address. If it isn't this add-on causing the problem, see Troubleshooting extensions and themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems.

    FYI, the IE Tab Plus add-on has been updated recently to improve compatibility with Firefox 4 beta, you can try this one instead. The latest version is available from http://coralietab.mozdev.org/installation.html

    Adobe change Acrobat a lot between releases. Make sure you follow instructions to the same version you have.

    If this looks OK, let us know the exact version you have (help > about Acrobat Pro).
