  I have problems with my installation of Photoshop CS6 extended 13.0. I have a large collection of fonts (more than 9000 - no joke) and Photoshop slows down bad whenever I do something that requires the use of the fonts/typing/text handling. I tried to disable the font previews. Photoshop is still too slow. I found a related thread and have additional questions about my situation:

  • Is there a way to mitigate the slowdown in Photoshop when something related to fonts?
  • Will be updated to the latest version of CS6 help? I should even try to update?
  • I have to reduce the number of fonts activated? If so, what is a good number to aim for?
  • Any advice on the management of fonts? The thread mentions Typekit - I do not have a full subscription to CC. Other tools of management of good police (preferably free) that you can recommend?

  Not really sure what to tell you. Using a lot of fonts is a serious drain on system resources.  How long does Photoshop take to open?  Some time I think.

  TypeKit used to be a wonderful resource, but it has become very limited, if you only plan to photograph, and it would do precisely nothing to the management of your 9000 fonts.  Not a garbage.

  If you want to continue to use this font you can uncheck the box use the quotes on Indesign > Preferences > Type and extra spaces disappear.

• Why do I need "Promiscuous" Mode when you use multiple vSwitches and a bridge?

  5.5 ESXi running.

  I created two vSwitches and putting multiple virtual machines in each vSwitch. I have a CentOS VM with two network cards, one in each vSwitch. I configured the CentOS VM to work as a bridge. I could spend between devices on a vSwitch pings, but ping has no devices on a vSwitch devices on the other (through the CentOS acting as a bridge). The ARP requests have been sent across the bridge, but have never had sent answers ARP. I checked around online and someone recommended to enable Promiscuous Mode. I activated the Promiscuous Mode (changing to refuse to accept) on the two vSwitches (which is then applied to the change to all virtual machines).   Now all of a sudden, everything works.

  My question is: why?

  I think that I don't want to Promiscuous Mode unless it must be such that it will result in more traffic to each VM it had reached before. I don't really understand why I need to authorize this change, and any help would be nice!

  Without promiscuous mode, vSwitch and port group will only transmit traffic VMs (MAC addresses) that are directly related to the port groups, he will not learn the MAC addresses that, in your case, are the other side of the bridge.   Hi all, I'm relatively new to Mainstage (V3), and I'm hoping to use it for the first time this weekend to play the extra backing with a band tracks

  The issue I'm having, is that with the SPACEBAR of laptops on 'PLAY '. It is often "lag". or simply does not start the song. I have to wait a second, then hit again, it will work.  It is almost as if in Performance mode, when you use the down arrow key to select the next song, the 'focus' is on the list of patch, and if I click in the background where are playback buttons and stop, THEN that will work. I have not, however, been able to reproduce this particular behavior on a consistent basis.

  Everyone knows the same thing? Or why it is so 'all or nothing '?

  Hello, I have a problem with my configuration of hyrbid cRIO. I am currently using Labview 2010, cRIO-9074, x 1 NI 9234, and NI 9512 3 x.

  -J' built two screws, one who acquires the data of a NI 9234. This vi is one that uses the FPGA due to 51.2 kHz sampling frequency needs. The other is to playback motion and three NI 9512 s (scan mode) encoder. Both work fine separately (on the same FPGA bitfile), but when I copy and paste the VI for the NI 9234 in VI for the 3 9512 x s and click Run, the fault of motors.

  -J' have confirmed that if I turn the two screws separately, they work fine. The first time I combine work 9512 s for a second (i.e. the engines a bit) on the two screws. Then he cracks.   So it turns out that you just put the cRIO in Setup mode when you set up your open your ref FPGA and reset. Then change to the active mode (any program) before you do anything else in your program (i.e. the very very beginner). A picture is attached.
