TextArea showing "phone numbers".

Hello I have a TextArea that shows some numbers (he interprets mistakingly) under phone numbers. When the user clicks on the number, it opens the phone dialer. These are however not telephone numbers and should be shown * beep * all other texts

Ive tried setting all the flags as below, but nothing helped. Anyone know how to disable this "feature".

Thanks in advance.

TaRight->setInputMode(TextAreaInputMode::Text);        TaRight->input()->setFlags(TextInputFlag::SpellCheckOff | TextInputFlag::PredictionOff
                |TextInputFlag::AutoCorrectionOff |TextInputFlag::AutoCapitalizationOff
                |TextInputFlag::AutoPeriodOff | TextInputFlag::WordSubstitutionOff | TextInputFlag::VirtualKeyboardOff );
        TaRight->setInputMode(TextAreaInputMode::Text);

Found.

Thank you all the same.

For those who have the same question, "ActiveText" is the 'flag' in question:

Mohamed-> content())-> flags (TextContentFlag::ActiveTextOff);

    We created a very simple Muse for our small community site.  It is being tested, but right now, we noticed that some phone numbers appear in blue highlighted while others are only in black on an iphone.  They work all when you click on it, but we would like to see them all square as clickable links.   Grand Ledge MI 48837

    The text formatting of numbers, exactly the same thing?  If the phone is to see the number as a link, but the text is strictly text (not a link), then the phone should see as a phone number as long as they are formatted the same.  If you use the text as links, try selecting the text in Muse Design view, then click on 'links' on the top menu.  From there, you can create link styles and apply colors, text styles, etc. to your links.

    So far, it works for me.  I disabled imessage, group messaging, etc.  Got them all, then did a facetime with one of the contacts I have problems with.  Completed the facetime, and everything seems to work now.  Not knowing if he'll fix everybody, but it works now.

    Hi Scott

    It can help to disable the twinning and re - pair your watch. The app shows on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch when unpairing via the app choose to backup restore when the possibility to put courses in place. Most of the data and settings will be restored, with a few exceptions (for example cards Pay Apple, access code).

  • View call logs, but with contact phone numbers, name, and not only

    I have to be able to show that a list of the call connects to my request.  But for thosenumbers who have a name in the address book, instead of simply to view phone numbers, I have to be able to show the name of the

    number.  (just like the native blackberry app call log done)

    Up to now the following seems to work OK, as long as the amount of data is small:

    • When the main screen is first created, walk the database by calling PIM.getInstance () .openPIMList)
    • Adds a new entry in a hash table for each unique telephone number in the database that points to the name of the contact
    • After that the Hashtable is fully charged, list of call logs
    • As the newspapers call list is displayed, phone numbers search in the hash table, replace with name when a match is found

    But when the Contact database grows, as the order of 500 entries, it takes a lot of time for

    walk from the database to generate the hash table (10 seconds), and while what the application is blocked

    and things seem stuck to the user. This must occur before the first screen is displayed and so after

    the user clicks on the icon and the first screen is being built, the user is thinking ' what's going on..?

    until the screen finally opens.

    Is there an API I can tap in which already provides this mapping for me?  (given a call number journal or by phone,

    Efficiently search the name of the contact with that phone number, if necessary).  That way I wouldn't have to build

    the hash table.

    Or, possibly, some advice on a simple signal of progress to the user while loads of app... This might be simpler than

    trying to tackle the problem with a multi-threaded approach.

    Unfortunately there is no way, I was. I tried to re - implement research of the phone application and came across this as well, as well as some other hidden implementations that are much faster then the public APIs.
    You can try to work with itemsByName, it is also not very fast, according to the number of entries you have.

    Maybe PhoneCallLogID methods can help you?

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to react to alphanumeric phone numbers

    In this era of smartphones always presents us with phone numbers alphanumeric (for example 'support dial 800-5helpme').  Mnemonics are not much help, if you do not have a keyboard with the alphabet above or you have not memorized it. There at - it an application or option that allows aid - for example, an application that shows the cushion on the screen?)  Thank you. Rob

    To compose letters, just hold the ALT key before clicking on each letter. Thus, for example, to dial the 800-COMCAST, you would all dial 800 - ALT C, ALT O, M ALT, etc. until you get to the end.

    It's the second time this has happen to me and don't know what I did to correct, caused much less. I see a limited number of emails even though I have others, as when you look at the last phone numbers I asked or received, I do not see everything now.

    I see that perhaps the past 12 emails received and sent, were like yesterday, I could scroll and see more than two weeks of work.

    Hope someone can send me in the right direction.

  • Since the update for Sierra, contacts do not appear in Messages - just phone numbers.

    Since the update for Sierra, Messages no longer displays Contact names - only phone numbers.  No instructions on how to remedy this.  Ideas?

    Hello

    Go into the Contacts application and ensure that it uses the same account synchronization like the iPhone and other devices you may be using.

    Also check the part of the accounts of the Contacts application preferences and make sure that it's only using one account.

  • iPad not composed of phone numbers in Contacts

    I have an iPad and iPhone, both running the most recent iOS10. Both have areas set in Australia.

    In Contacts on the iPhone, all phone numbers are formatted correctly and new number added automatically gets the correct formatting.

    On the iPad, all telephone numbers are not formatted: just a string of numbers without spaces.

    Things I've tried:

    • Power supply and switch on the iPad.
    • Reset the iPad
    • Turn off sync Contacts iCloud, remove contacts from the iPad, then re - synchronization from iCloud
    • ICloud signature, removing all of the iPad, then log in again
    • Change the region to the Austria (following in the list!) then back to the Australia

    None of this worked, and phone numbers of the Contacts of the iPad are not formatted and everything gets new added number without formatting. I noticed that the "example of Format of the region" does not contain a phone number. Elsewhere defined telephone number format? If so, I have not found.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve =: ^)

    I can add to the list of things I've tried:

    • In iTunes, restore the iPad as a new iPad and, without restoring all the data from iCloud, open contacts, add a new contact and added a phone number and the telephone number had no formatting.

    I don't know what I can do next, other than to return the iPad as faulty.

  • Remove the spaces in the phone numbers in the Contacts

    Hello

    How delete/reformat phone numbers in contacts in OS X El Capitan?

    Phone numbers have spaces for example + 61 111 222 333 and when using copy + paste get rejected by my VOIP application.

    Thank you!

    I can't find a way to edit the copy to the number format in Contacts. The numbers are formatted to match the formatting of generally recognized country code. Even if you enter numbers without formatting, the display will be formatted and all what you copy will be too.

    Contacts has a Plugin architecture. The VOIP software has maybe a plugin for Contacts that allows you to dial in the label menu in the Contacts. Or, perhaps, there is a plugin that will copy the number without formatting (although, I have not found when Googling).

    You can contact the developers of VOIP software and ask them to fix their app because it should be stripping all non-numeric data in the string. He has no idea where you copy a number of (such as a Web site), and it should be able to parse the number.

  • iOS 10 Notes app detects more phone numbers

    I used to use the Notes iOS app as a convenient way to store multiple access to phone numbers to work.

    If you have added a phone number it would detect that and you could just click the link to dial the number.

    In iOS 10 it stopped working.

    Links of # in the Notes app phone are no longer assets and if I try to add a new phone # s, they are not detected as being able to compose.

    Hello, elbenoit!

    Thank you for joining the communities Support from Apple! It seems that you are having problems with call function in the Notes. I know how it is important Notes work properly. First of all, read this article with the steps to restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

    The next thing you might want to try going in settings of the iPhone and then Reset. Once there, tap reset all settings. This will reset the settings of the iPhone, but does not erase personal information such as pictures, music or contacts. However, it will remove a connection Wi - Fi and VPN settings, so do not forget, you have these settings and passwords to ready for the start of the iPad to the top.

    If this does not work, it would be a good idea to make sure that there is not a problem of software as the cause of this for you.

    1. Read this article to know the steps for backing up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
    2. Use this article for steps to use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings.
    3. Once this done, set the phone like new and the phone to see if the issue is still being tested. Follow this link to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

    See you soon!

  • Using Facetime and iMessage with multiple phone numbers

    I often travel internationally. When abroad, I get a local SIM card and so a local phone number. The problem is, anyone trying to send messages to my becomes phone number inside a bounced message until I go home. I am looking for a solution to this problem. What I want to do logically is to pass all my iMessage and Facetime messages to my phone number internal to any international phone number that I have the chance to have for the week or two, I'm out of the country, without actually transferring phone calls for the international number.

    How can I accomplish this?

    If during the passage of an international SIM inside, if I use a different AppleID to save the number, can I add the domestic AppleID to iMessage and Facetime and have forward SMS messages to internal phone to my phone number - actually give my 2 phone numbers for text and using Facetime?

    What happens if I have a second iPhone (say one IS minimal) think I swap my SIM home - then I have two iPhones, one with an international SIM card and the other with an internal SIM card - then - I associate the two phones with the same AppleID (as if I had the same AppleID on an iPhone and iPAD) and make it work? In other words, a text Message sent to my iPhone internal SIM also towards my international SIM iPhone? This I must have my internal iPhone with me, or I can leave home and have it still work?

    Any suggestions for other ways to solve this problem?

    Thank you!

    HU

    You should always be available for the Apple ID that is associated with a phone number at one point.

    SMS is out of scope for this, because it is a function of carrier managed by your carrier at that time and linked to your SIM card.

    You put a new SIM card in your phone, FaceTime and Messages should register again your Apple ID for/with this new phone number shortly after. I do not think it deal only with the functions of automatic reference to FaceTime or Messages, because they are themselves a transfer function.

    To the Apple server... "go get my friend with the Apple ID of [email protected]." Server Apple think and said: "OK, it uses the 888-555-1212 phone number right now, so I'll send your application there.

    Ring, ring... you download a FaceTime application.
