  I am running MS Windows Vista Edition home premium on a motherboard ASUS M3A78-CM very w / AMD Phenom II x 4 940 3.0 Ghz 6 MB Quad Core, 2 GB of RAM.  It is an upgrade to an AMD Athlon 64 X 2 5800 + 3.0 Ghz.  The two see the single core cpu in the Task Manager, cpuz, msconfig, etc..  However, the BIOS displays 1 physical cpu w / 4 logical processors.  In addition, the reason for which I have not even noticed the problem, is that I play a resource intensive game called Crysis Wars and my fps SUCK.  This led me to the problem.  Wars started, the console displays only a single core as well during the detection of the spu.  I need to know if the game software is read directly from the hardware OR of Vista.

  I have tried everything to fix the problem, including the use of msconfig to clear the number of processors, select detect HAL, reboot, etc.  Did not work.  I suspect that this is a license live upward, from Microsoft, but will not know until I have install another OS to test.  My next move (when I can afford it) is to install XP or Linux to see if these operating systems can detect all four cores.  If it works then I know it's the fault of Vista.

  Anyway, any help would be appreciated as my frustration level is through the roof with it.  Thank you.

  Try updating the BIOS with the latest version: 2801 BIOS M3A78-CM.  This can easily be performed using ASUS Update V7.16.01 for Windows XP / XP 64-bit/Vista/Vista 64-bit. Carey Frisch

  If I understand you must do the windows 8 slabs remain standing on one screen while making changes, you can check if the settings changed to duplicate.

  If so, try to change the same scope and check if it helps.

  a. open screen resolution by dragging from the edge right of the screen, quilting Search (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the mouse down and then clicking Search), entering display in the search box, type, or by clicking settings, and then type or by clicking display.

  b. press or click on multiple monitors and have her take Extended Display.

  I have a Subvi is a set of operations and using 3 feedback nodes. I use this Subvi inside a loop While 4 times in total. I noticed all instances used to share the same result in each node for your comments, but I would like to have an individual result of each of them. Is there an easy way to work around this problem? I find ways to avoid this: a) create a different vi for each time the Subvi has been used. (b) use global variables instead of feedback nodes. Is there an easier way to get around this problem?

As far as being able to use separate or instances values if you are using a Subvi, you could mark it as reentrant. In this way, each call to it will behave as it were a copy of the VI and it will have its own memory space. This should include the feedback node. You end up with a single slot - VI and in reality a single node of feedback. If you need pass data between calls that simply data through wire. You can also use a motor of Action to store and retrieve values. An EA is MUCH better than a global variable.

  Check the Task Manager > processes to see exactly what is running. Look for first two process
  use relatively large amounts of RAM, for example 50 000 k or more.
  If you see a program using a lot of RAM and you do not need this program that runs in the background all the time then you can stop it to load with Windows through the Configuration of the system
  (Type msconfig in the command run or start search for the menu bar to open Sys Config).
  Go to the Startup tab and uncheck the box next to any program that you know you don't need
  having loading when you start in Windows.

  If you can't find anything using a lot of memory when you view the Task Manager, you run
  a time to start full scan with your antivirus.

  64-bit Win7 use more RAM than a 32 bit OS. Mine is never less than approximately 1.35 GB at idle.

  You will not be able to do much about it in the AIR, with maybe one exception.

  AIR is single-threaded, basically, if you can't push all work in a background thread or the process that is running on a second nucleus, at least not directly.

  The Pixel Bender stuff can automatically use a second if present core... not sure.  Useful limited for many but if it does it would be great for some.

  (QNX) system makes full use of both hearts, is not only running apps on one of them.  It is unlikely enough that a developer could do better just let the system do what it was designed to do here.

  With the native SDK and Java probably (someone confirm?), you would be able to operate the two hearts for your organization.

  I try just VMWare Fusion (any Parallels 7 VM), everything works rather smooth and fast compared to the Parallels, but when I run Dragon Naturally Speaking, I thought that the profile has been initially registered with a processor dual-core and now I would have a single processor Core, and that it would mean a loss of recognition quality and performance of this software.

  Well, you see, I'm rather new to VMWare Fusion, but I would just like to know what to do to remedy the situation (if possible without reinstallign the heap).

  If the original Virtual Machine has been configured for 2 vCPU what don't you just set up the same way that imported?

• I have more than a single file for Mozilla in Windows Explorer. Can I delete the one with the dates of older files?

  My current version is 14.0.1 and show like Mozilla in Windows Explorer. Dates of the files are up to date. The second file in Windows Explorer is listed as Mozilla (2) and has files from 2010. The window add or Remove Programs page shows only a single installation. Can I safely delete the Mozilla (2) from the widows Explorer?

  In this case, I'll try renaming the Mozilla (2) and make sure that everything works. If so, you can delete it.

• Slow Boadband on a single laptop while the second laptop is fine

  We have two new laptops. The 650 HP Probook a download speed very slow broadband (0.9 MB) on our optical fiber EE connection. The other laptop (next to him) is very well (more than 30 MB).

  I assumed it was a problem with the laptop HP but just tested on BT fiber optic line & two laptops get more than 36 MB.

  Seems to be the combination of this laptop on the optical fiber EE connection.

  I did some research for you, and I came across a thread the guy had exactly the same problem, but he had 4 cores (3 of which somereason were not active).

  He showed that by removing the CMOS battery and put back in after 2-5 minutes. And the computer showed he had all 4 Active cores...

  Another user who has sent by clicking Start--> Run--> type MSCONFIG--> Boot--> Advanced Options

  If it is checked, uncheck 'Number of processors'. If not check it out and in the drop down list select 4 (according to the number of cores you have) and you're done.

  Is it possible to NAT the public facing the inside or to the outside interface of the ASA and terminate the VPN on this interface?

  No, you can't NAT, the IP address of the ASA on the SAA itself, which is not supported.

  You can also terminate the VPN tunnel through the interface on the ASA.

  How and where you currently do NAT for internet access? You cannot configure NAT on the same device where you are currently configuring your NAT?
