  Hello

  I was able to expand the custom Viewer backbone than Derek articles read previously posted on wisely.

  The code works perfectly on IPads later, an Air of the IPad for example, but when you test on an iPad 2 - The Adobe DPS API does not return the folios.

  I placed the same application development on two IPads and side by side one works and returns the correct number of folios and the other returns zero.

  Everyone knows, I am currently working on what could be the problem?

  The only thing I can think is that calls to the Adobe DPS API sending on the IPad version / series to denote its version can return / do not return folios, on this basis that DPS folio support has been dropped for older ipads?

  I'm clutching at straws, I hope someone can help.

  What size are your folios? If you published folios of 2048 x 1536, they will appear on devices iPad 2. It is recommended to publish all folios in 1024 x 768.

• Animation of the Adobe & DPS application issues

  Recently, I downloaded the Adobe & DPS application on the app store.  It is mainly a showcase and an informative publication about how the Magazine industry has embraced and incorporated DPS in their creative process.

  I like the effect of the background of the image sharing two screens, so when the user goes to the next page, the central image continuously and moves left.  I managed to reproduce this effect.  My question is however on the animation.

  In the interest of those who have the ipad app, I refer to Page 19 of the production, in front, page directed 18 as Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, for those who do not have the advantage, mainly the central image of 'focus' scrolls to the left like the user enters the page.  There is a delay and then 3 bars of color, red, yellow and blue fly from the background of the central image to the right of the screen.  Text is missing in a downward movement.  Another shot at the next page maintains the continuity of the design of the arrows and melted bars in addition to text after a slight delay.

  I am interested in the technical aspects of this effect.

  In the workflow of InDesign, I'm uncomfortable with the scrolling of the image back picture, but what I can't understand is the following...

  1) are the screen filled in Adobe After effects or Adobe Photoshop animation then exported in the form of sequences of images or videos to load page?  No doubt there is an image of the poster, a delay that triggers the auto start animation then ending on an image rendered ending sequence.

  2) are compliant screens in InDesign, but the images of movement occurs in Adobe Edge to keep the size of the small file (transparent overlays like HTML5).  If so how do write you movie elements to match the background of the image?  Is superimposed on the bottom or each section independently positioned 2048 step?

  I can't post a screenshot, as I don't want to violate copyright, my initial view is that option 1 is easier since the design is contained in this application, but larger files. Option 2 is interesting, smaller file size, lighter app, but I'm not clear integration between ID and edge as the practice of positioning and visualization, because both apps do not visually bind each other.

  I would be grateful on the reflections on the best approaches for this purpose.

  I have my first php site runs fully almost ready to go live, except that I have not allowed for filtering of tags HTML and scripts from my forms, form fields, and the URL.

  User input has been validated to match my criteria, values are escaped before the entry of the database.

  I'm usually plans to use preg_match against different regex filter HTML and script tags and some of my forms that already have in place when you post (all the php) but for the rest of the filtering, I have some queries, concerns and questions about php filter_var for sanitation.

  First of all:

  My free text fields need work.

  I need to allow users to be able to type a description of the use of General punctuation.

  Would this work: (not sure if the regular expression is correct and if it isn't the best way to address filtering)

  Or is there a better way to do it with filter_var, this would allow users to type what they needed and just remove whatever it is a threat, such as:

  Given that the information comes from the berries of $_GET and $_POST, use filter_input().

  If you control $_POST ["textfield"]:

  $sanitized = filter_input(INPUT_POST, 'textfield', FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING);
  

  $sanitized contains the string stripped of all tags.

  If you are var1 through the table control $_GET:

  $clean_var1 = filter_input(INPUT_GET, 'var1', FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING);

  The trials are limited to one per Adobe ID. If you are in active conversation with the sales team on a DPS license, it would be possible to extend your trial period, and you can work with your advisor to sales for more information on this.

We have a quarterly guide and a bi-annual magazine that they would like to create me in a way that they can be easily added to our website for downloading as well as our current company mobile app for viewing. I was not able to find out if this is possible using InDesgn and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. Anyone know if this would be possible and how difficult / time consuming is the process?

  There is a web viewer, but there is no way to allow anyone to download the pages of your Web site.

  You might want to consider fixed layout for this EPUB.

  My client is a small monthly editors that run on a programme of charity for the vegan community.

  But I found that we cannot create applications without the license DPSuite and the price that people talk is a little high.

  And I can't use another way to download with adobe DPSuite folio (this one I don't know)

  Please correct me if I'm wrong with what I've got, because I was confused with the Adobe DPS publishing system.

  1. If we need a DPSuite license to build an app?

  1. Yes. If you want to build a custom multi-folio DPS application you need a DPS license.

  2. What do you mean upload? You can view folios in our Adobe Content Viewer, but need a license to create a custom application.

  I'm new in the Adobe DPS product range and I was wondering if someone could clarify if the DPS product range can produce content that can be published for display on mobile devices (Android, iPad, playbook), as well as desktop (MAC and PC)

  Not really. We have no office viewers for OSX or Windows allow consumers to buy and read the content of the DPS. We have a tool to preview office for production work and the web viewer for items shared via social sharing.

  When you use the adobe.dps.store.getEntitledProducts function, I expect to see a table of the product ID.

  But all I get is an empty object.

  When visiting the url that we have entered as 'service url' followed by 'rights' and by the way the authToken and appid etc.. I get a list of ProductID.

  Thus, this function is not doing the same thing?

  A little.  It returns a list of products right known for the application of the observer.  If something isn't right - possibly the user has not signed-then the list would be empty.

  Even if we can connect keys and gestures for slideshows, as I've seen in some of the videos, I need to build a hybrid application where a section of the TTH application controls to a native IOS built set of components.

  I'm coming from the side of things iOS development, so I know very little about the capabilities of the toolset of InDesign and DPS of the client, except that I have not found the resources to do anything beyond the simple interactions within the DPS.

  No, you can't include native iOS components in a publication of DPS. For extensibility tend to write HTML5 content and which include in a superposition of web.

  Can someone explain the process to update an application that has been recreated using Adobe DPS? I created an application Mag using the woodwing product and recently rebuilt using the Adobe DPS.

  I am ready to publish and activate the new app but I'm curious to know what this means for people who have already downloaded the app of the generation previous (woodwing). Is it just an update happens automatically, or do I invited original users with instruction on the new application.

  DW is not really smart enough to understand this. But - you can control

  Goal: Incorporate a Story Script from Adobe in Premiere Pro. (mac)

  Method: I have a video with a text transcript.

  I inport the transcript in Adobe Story and save it in the file extension "Adobe" correct history (.astx)

  I save on the cloud to Adobe, and I also exported it to my office.

  I launch Premiere Pro and import the video that I transcribed.

  The I try one of the 3 ways to get the script of the video in PP.

  The first steps are the same as below:

  I go to Adobe Story and you connect from PP.

  I search for the file.

  I add a scene.

  Make sure that the scene is the same as it is in PP

  then...

  I drag and drop it on the movie file.

  Nothing appears in the Embed Adobe Story Script Meta Data field.

  I click on Analyze and the box integrate Adobe Story Script script remains greyed out (impossible to select)

  If I click on analyze then PP will analyze the script (does a decent job) but this isn't what I want.  I want to join the script verbatim in the video, that's why I've transcribed.

  Right click on the movie file in the PP and the context menu allows me to attach a script.

  I find my .astx file downloaded on my Mac and select it.

  Still nothing appears in the field to incorporate Adobe Story metadata.

  I worked with Anand of support suggested that I have post this question here.

  I don't know if there are only some Adobe models for which it works (IE script of TV, movies etc.)

  He suggested that this would probably work only for the formats .mov file, but then discovered that it should work, even for .mp4 files.

  In any case - if anyone has any ideas, ideas, or has experience with this it would be greatly appreciated.

• Problems to remove the script tags.

  I do not use the browser to run Adobe Story, but the desktop version of my iMac.  Command-Double-click works, but once all the 30 times.  Does anyone else have this problem remove labels from a script?

  There are other ways to remove the tags in a script

  The Panel marking:

  -Open the sequencer Panel in view Menu

  -Click the button change. Here you have the possibility to delete a tag-individual items or to remove anything from the scene.

  On the file menu

  -Open the file - menu marking

  Here you will find the options to remove tags added all/manually/automatically added.
