• My pages Web is oversized and straddling the bars of 3 tools albums, cannot access the buttons or the address field.

  So right off the bat, my Web pages extend upwards too high completely upward, covering all toolbars 3. I can turn on and off various toolbars through the menu options and I can see the flicker/half appear.   When closing my laptop, I got the blue "screen of death" and it restarts, windows came with this analysis of the accident: "error caused by the memory problem to live: run the Windows tool". I downloaded diagnostic tool (mstinst.exe), he opened so I got "windiag.iso" and he burned on a CD like they told me (the use of 'Record Now') and then I put in the CD drive and rebooted my computer. But it did not launch the tool! Does anyone know why it went wrong and how can I make it work? Even if I got the tool to work, I would be able to solve the problems of RAM anyway, just taking my laptop to a repair center?

• Follow this procedure when the Sansa Connect recovery tool does not work!

  Hey people;

  This thread is just to consolidate the info from a lot a longer wire, earlier.

  Currently, the Sansa Connect recovery tool may or may not work for you.  You can see an error like 'failed to connect to the Internet' or "cannot retrieve the device, SanDisk contact technical support for assistance."  If Yes, it's probably because the recovery tool is unable to download the firmware images he needs zing.net.  SanDisk has not (yet) recognized this problem.  The strange thing is that * sometimes * recovery tool works, if you already have images of the firmware on the drive... but usually it doesn't.

  So here's what you do (with thanks to Larlos for providing the firmware images and order lines to their installation).  This assumes that you're 'stuck' to the "necessary recovery" post on your connection.  If not and you are in the regular menu of Sansa Connect, first follow steps 2 and 3 in this paper: http://mp3support.sandisk.com/tools/connect-recovery-instructions.pdf, do the following:

  (1) download the zip file containing the images of the http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UNLDGZ1N firmware

  (2) search for the following files in the zip file, and then copy them into the directory of your drive "C:\Program Updater Connect Device Recovery\cmdline":

  • everest_initrd_ext_prod_1.1.1.50239.SRR.e
  • everest_vmlinux_ext_prod_1.1.1.50239.SRR.e
  • yeverest_zap_ota_rel_1.1.2.65799.tar.gz.e
  • yeverest_zap_ota_rel_ext_prod_1.1.2.65799.SIG

  (3) in the same directory, create a file named recovery.bat that contains the following three lines:

  zsi_fw.exe w everest_vmlinux_ext_prod_1.1.1.50239.srr.e everest_initrd_ext_prod_1.1.1.50239.srr.e

  zaprecover.exe t 600000 f yeverest_zap_ota_rel_1.1.2.65799.tar.gz.e yeverest_zap_ota_rel_ext_prod_1.1.2.65799.sig

  (4) connect your Sansa Connect USB.

  (5) run the recovery.bat file (double-click it in Windows Explorer, or run from a DOS command prompt).  The line of 'pause' is there only so you can see the results of running if you run it from Windows Explorer.  Expect the recovery to the end; at the end of that your connection will restart.  If Windows displays the hardware wizard detected during this process, simply cancel the wizard.

  (1) no; you see the version numbers are associated with the files of the firmware (names starting with "everest" and "yeverest" files) that you have either downloaded when you ran the recovery tool, or download in megaupload.com zip file.

  (2) Yes, it's normal.  Zing is the company that allows you to manage authentication of audio stream and firmware for the connection.

  (3) the Y! symbol indicates just that when you use the Internet Radio feature, you are streaming audio of Yahoo (in fact, now owned by CBS Radio).  There is also a function of Flickr photos, which is associated with Yahoo.

  I have a laptop vaio Sony and for some reason the deletion tool information is not what its supposed to. the Delete on close windo option does not work either. I have to manually delete each element of the story. Whats up with that?

  I'm really bad at lock options to the top bar, that it gets in the way when I position anywhere else. I prefer to work in mode "Photography", but when I select some other modes (mode of movement, for example), then the options bar is already locked upward - I'm able to drag him out of position, but still, I can't lock the top of the page!

  It was resolved by resetting the settings of Photoshop.

• Commenting on the text properties quick tool is not functioning - Acrobat DC

  This was published in a another thread has not received a reply, I hope someone has a solution.

  The domain controller Acrobat commenting tool quick "Text properties" does not open the bubble of properties drop-down list when I click the icon nothing happens at all. I can open the commenting tools and access the drop-down list via this interface, but not with the quick tool (see image below).

  

  We devoted essentially to large drawings and we need every bit of space on the screen. Working with the menu open annotation is not an option for more than 90% of our projects, because it reduces the available screen area to display the document.

  I have tried everything and have the same situation on two different machines running Windows 10 and Acrobat DC.

  Am I missing something?

  The last update seems to have resolved this issue, the old style properties box pop up is back on both of my machines.

  I still don't know what was going on with the situation described above, as of today I still couldn't get the quicktool to work. I removed the tool in the menu and the box pop up remains, there is no relationship between the quicktool and the properties box works now.

• The bar color on most, but not all, https sites is blue and not green. This means that they are not secure after all?

  Until recently the small color bar next to the address in each open tab was green for https sites and clear for open sites. The color for most sites https including my Bank is now blue. Some are still green, but most is in blue. Does this mean that sites are be pirated? Not sure? or something else?

• I hae a Trogan Virus to also keep a large number of viruses, too... from Windows Security Alert. The Microsoft malicious software tool does not work on Vista 64. I need another product.

  I wouldn't not viruses. I ran scans all time th. My Windows Security Alert was for a few hours and I can't ge to do anything. He keeps asking me to run the installation and then refuses, saying that all ready I have. I ran about three virs scan as this has been posted yet and I didn't have a virus. He said that maybe it's a thing.

  Judging strictly from your post it looks like you have too many malware scanners installed which can decrease your overall protection in the end.

  No matter what scanners you used, please follow the instructions below. Reply back with the results and include a list of all malware/antivirus scanners software that are currently installed on your computer.

  Restart the computer in Safe Mode with network. Click HERE. Download Malwarebytes. Update Malwarebytes and perform a scan.  Choose whether to remove anything found. Once completed click HERE and download Superantispyware Portable. Perform a quick scan again remove anything found.

• I have a group of tabs stuck in the bar of tasks, it does not open.

  I had 2 groups of tabs. A group opens and works, but the other is stuck in the taskbar. I can click on it, or do a right click and then restore, but does not open the window containing this group of tabs. The other group works very well. I left Firefox, then restarted Firefox (15.0.1) same thing, here, in the taskbar, but does not open. Also restarted Windows Vista, then Firefox without result. Any ideas?

  Well, I'll be, I right click the taskbar group & then maximize the success, that worked. I use tabs to group for some time, has never had to do before.

  I installed Brand Thunder custom browser and after installing Personas 1.6 I noticed that instead of show 1 big boom it shows 2 small perch. To try to resolve the problem, I thought I'd try removing the add-on, however clicking on Add ons causes nothing to happen.

• My download CS6 manages at the end and fill the bar but hangs and does not end?

  Any help on the above would be welcome. I am operating an iMac with OS X Maverick 10.9 and the download starts and runs OK, gets 3.78 3.78 GB GB but then does not end and hangs at this point?

  I downloaded successfully, now after connecting the router to the iMac with an Ethernet cable, so even if it was able to fully download on more than once for some reason any it would not complete and open the disk image to install.

• Since last week, I had a problem loading my Hotmail contact list addresses in the bar 'To '. It does not occur in Internet Explorer

  Problem with Hotmail. Usually when I start typing an address that is in my contact list, he fills automatically. Now I just get a circle going round and round.
