The built-in microphone echo

New HP Pavilion notebook 15-p067ca. Strong echo when the other person listens to me on Skype. I watched HP video troubleshooting and tried all of the suggestions. I also hear the sounds echoy stong when I turn on listening in the sound control box.

I'm about to return the laptop prior to 14 days runs, but I would check here thought.

The technician at Staples has determined that it was defective.

If no solution to use to anyone here.

  • Satellite Pro P300 - impossible to activate the built-in microphone

I bought a Satellite Pro P300 some 2 months and so far so good.

It has a webcam which I really thought that I would have any use for it but now find that I have.

The camera works fine but I cannot activate the built-in microphone.

Can someone point me in the right direction please

    Hello

You will need to start the webcam software if you want to use the internal microphone too.
The point is that the internal MIC is connected with the internal webcam and webcam software handles both devices.
Also check if the internal mic has been correctly enabled in the webcamsoftware

In addition, I would recommend updating the audio driver.

  • How to re - activate the built-in microphone idt?

    Hello

    I have a HP Pavilion dv6 series laptop Win7 32

I tried to cut my built-in microphone so selected idt it and selected disable - now it seems to have disappeared from the system, and I can't find it. not in the hardware devices (not that I can find anyway) and find new devices can not find.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the idea, banhien!

When I right click the image he showed an option to display disabled devices (which was not selected by default) and when I chose "show disabled" the missing microphone rolled up and then I could right click on it and enable it.

(And this is supposed to be a "Computer is personal again" Entertainment Notebook!)

  • How to reinstall the built-in microphone?

I disabled my built in microphone of my Sony Vaio with Windows 7. When I went to turn it on, it says there is no device installed. I looked in the Device Manager and it has not been listed here either. I do NOT uninstall, just disabled. Anyone know how I can get it back in addition to do a system restore? Thank you!

    Hi n_i_b_l_e_t,

Try these steps and it should allow the listener to the back:

    1. open the control panel. (Classic view)

NOTE: open the start menu and click on the menu button of the control panel.

    2. click on the audio icon.

    3. click on the recording tab.

NOTE: this also works on the reading tab, but there are usually no hidden audio devices there.

    4. right click on an empty area and click Show disabled devices.

    5. you will now see the audio devices disabled with the arrow pointing down on them.

NOTE: these audio devices may vary depending on the installed audio card or chip you have.

    6. right-click on each listed off audio device that you want to activate and click Activate.

    7. you will now see this when the audio devices are enabled.

NOTE: you can now change the property settings on these audio devices in the way you want.

    8. click OK to close the sound window.

    Kind regards

I have upgraded to Windows 10 and now, my audio on Skype does not work.  Under audio settings, it shows the speakers as "IDT High Definition Audio CODEC", but under micro it shows 'None '.  I do not understand how to make the microphone back in service?  Could you please help.

    BML1, welcome to the forum.

If there is a microphone, it will be in the monitor.  You should go to control panel / sound and check the settings to make sure you microphone is listed and selected by default.

Please click on the Thumbs up button '+' if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

  • I try to get built-in microphone working on Satellite C850

    Dear Forum

I try to get the built-in microphone works on my C850.

Nothing is saved if I use the sound recorder utility.

In the recording tab listed only one microphone is a Realtek High definition Audio which is defined as the device by default, is enabled and mute is off.

If it were a microphone internal?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

The internal mic belongs to the internal webcam.
Have you tried to record short videos including sound using the internal webcam and webcam software?

  • Re: Satellite A300-15F - XP's built-in microphone does not work

I downgraded from VISTA to XP on my new A300-15E.
Everything is normal except for the built-in microphone.

There is only a driver for webcam on the Web site.
Do I need a driver for the microphone?

    Hello

In my opinion, you must also install the webcam software because there is a link between the internal mic and the webcam.
But usually, the microphone is controlled by the audio driver and you should also check the microphone settings in

    Panel-> sounds & audio devices-> tab volume-> advanced-> control volume mic-> Advanced button

    Hi CBX_tintin85,

I think you should check this Toshiba document:
[How to change the settings for the built-in webcam If the image is very dark or black | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=59]

In addition, the microphone is located on near the microphone because it s part of the webcam.

About the quality of the image of the webcam you can also try reinstalling the driver of the webcam of the Web from Toshiba site.

  • Satellite A350-20s - built-in microphone has stopped working

    Hello

I was wondering if someone could help me? My mic has suddenly stopped working. I was away for two weeks and when I tried to use the microphone it no longer works. It was working perfectly before.

When I go into Control Panel and watch settings for the microphone, he said his assets. I also installed the volume on the microphone and checked if everything is muted. But as far as I could see everything fine.

If I test the microphone the sound bar still gray and the microphone is not any sound recording. I tried a few of the instructions I found online, but nothing helped.
I mainly use the microphone on web with Skype calls.

It is a very frustrating problem. I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

    Hello

The built-in microphone is the webcam and is a part of it. Which means it would be recommended to reinstall the driver for the webcam. You can download the driver for the webcam on Toshiba website for your laptop.

Can send you additional information about your operating system? You use the preinstalled operating system from Toshiba or did you do your own installation of Windows?

  • Windows XP and built-in microphone does not work

I had reviewed similar topics, but I couldn't find a clear solution.

My laptop is XP and has a built-in microphone.  I tried Skype and the microphone does not work.  It was not used in the past2 or 3 years, but it has been running at the same time.  Use Audacity for school work.  Can't do the part of speech recognition because I'm working with Office 2007 as it says XP and Office 2007 do not work.

Any ideas to fix or am I destined for an external mic?  or would that even work?

    MB

With respect to the built-in microphone, you may need to reinstall the audio drivers from the manufacturers Web site.

As far as the webcam goes, as long as its compatible I guess it will work fine.

Malware or virus infections can have harmful effects on a computer, even if they have been deleted. The only sure way to never remove infections from virus or malware is to reinstall Windows.

  • Built in microphone does not work on the Satellite P200 - 17 c

    Help, please.

    I have a Satellite P200 - 17 c. Windows Vista Edition home premium, 32-bit operating system.
Sometimes, the built-in mic works then ceases to make Skype, useless msn. The webcam works fine but with no microphone. I've updated the driver, uninstalled and reinstalled several times that I care to remember.

Sometimes it's the microphone works for a short period, then it goes silent. In the sound control panel bit is shows as working properly, but it's not.
    Please help me.

Is preinstalled OS original OS that you got with your laptop.

It is still problematic to discuss problems that sometimes occur. Have you checked the mic Skype or MSN options when this happens?

Check in the sound options > recording devices is mic is enabled and set as default device. So try something and you should see the reaction on the green light. Is there a reaction?

  • Qosmio F20: Has the unit built in microphone?

    Hello

Notepad Qosmio F20 has it built in microphone?
The user manual says this, but unfortunately I can't work.

Any help or advice would be appreciated to get the microphone to work.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

It would be very interesting and useful to know the name of your unit, because there are many Qosmio F20 - xxx.
However, I checked some user Qosmio F20 manuals and it seems that this unit doesn't have internal audio microphones.
As far as I know this camera have only a microphone jack for an external microphone use.

Can you tell me please where you found the information on the internal MIC (chapter number?)

  • I want to use Siri on my Mac Pro 2013, but there is no built-in microphone.

Great so Siri is now activated on your desktop with Sierra. How can I add an Apple flagship computer microphone, the 2013 Pro Mac in a cost-effective manner? It's not even a microphone jack! Help, please!

Is your Mac has a headphone jack? Then try an Apple headset with a built-in microphone.

I'm seeing this in the specification tecniques for Mac Pro: http://www.apple.com/mac-pro/specs/

Audio combined optical digital output/analog line in mini-jack

headphone 3.5 mm with headset stand

The Headphone Jack would connect Apple headphones.

Or use any bargain price USB microphone for speech input.
