the case of the iphone 5 fit the new ipod touch 6?

I boughta new ipod touch 6 and there are not a lot of stores where I can find a case for it, I was wondering if I would be able to buy a case for iphone5/5 s and if it would fit the new ipod touch 6.

No, the iPhone is thicker.  However a case for the iPod 5 if integrate perfectly except that there will be a hole in the back for a strap, not a big deal.

  • Should I get the new iPod Touch or an iPad Mini 2?

Hi, I'm tossing up between the new iPod Touch and the iPad Mini 2. I intend the device mainly for playing games and going on social media. I also want to speedy. Thank you!

Also, I currently have an iPod Touch 5 gen and his microphone does not work. I can not make voice memos, FaceTime, record sound in camera etc. If anyone has any ideas why it does not work, please let me know. I use iOS 9.3.2 and I tried to reset all the settings of the device.

    Problem with the microphone:

-Make sure that the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It's the small hole at the back of the lens of the camera (the camera back). For the 16 GB one without rear camera the hole of the microphone is on the top edge near the Center.

-Open the voice memos app and see if you see the movement on the needle of the meter GIVEN or changes in mobile graphic waveform with changes in the level of noise recording.

  • Why music library is not synchronized with the new ipod touch

My i tunes library is composed of store purchases (I tunes and Amazon) as well as the songs downloaded from the cd and vinyl. I have access through desktop using Windows Vista.I used an i pod nano, who held the full library and sync had to include the new additions when I linked to the computer. I recently bought an i pod touch (iOS 9.3.3) but when I sync it, whatever he gains access to shopping via i tunes store.  I want to access the complete library if anyone can help me please?

Your iPod with iOS 9.3.x requires iTunes 12.3 and requiring a Win 7 and later versions.

It seems that you have iTunes music purchases, since you can re-download those directly from the iTunes Store

    Matt

When you get the new iPod, you can use iTunes on your computer to select and synchronize the music you want on it, in the same way that you synchronize your current iPod - your iTunes will recognize them as different devices and will remember your choice of synchronization for each, it will not (unless, for example, you restore the backup of your current on her iPod) put the same content on both.

Want to buy the new ipod nano, how can I connect this to my old itunes library without losing all my songs

Back up your library, update if necessary iTunes and sync the iPod. This will not normally remove anything from the iTunes library, but other things can.

    * I also looked into programs that have the capacity to transfer data FRO my old iPod to my new, however, many of them are not free or are, but to a certain extent (trial version). If someone could find out if a free program out there that may be able to do what I'm hoping to do, I'd love to hear about it! : )

  • How can I put music from my office on the new iPod 5. I am running windows 10 please

How can I transfer music from my music on windows desktop running 10 to my new iPod 5 Please?

    Hi patrickfromleeds,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.

I see you want to sync music to your new iPod touch.  If you have a subscription to Apple's music, you can use iCloud music library to keep your music to date.  If you do not, you can synchronize by plugging your iPod into your computer, then sync to iTunes.  Have fun with your new iPod!

  • can't use the iphone 6 s more like ipod touch for calls/texts?

OK, it's probably a unique situation. I have two iPhones to verizon. One is a 6 sec more not active, the other is a 5s which is activated. Basically, I use 5S for when I go out (where I prefer to use a hand on a bigger screen), and I want to use the 6s more as a second phone (via continuity) exclusively at home (where I prefer a bigger screen on one-handed use), but I am running into problems.

First of all, let me say that I tried a mini ipad for a few weeks... twice... and every time I found it is too big for what I wanted. I wanted a screen larger than my 5s at home, but I wanted to still be able to easily grab a single hand and use my thumb to scroll. And I wanted to put always in my pocket when I was moving from room to room of my house. The mini was simply too great for that. The 5.5 "more does the job much better. But then again, I prefer the small size of 5 when I when I go out, especially since I don't spend much time on my phone outside the House, so I couldn't use more to replace my main phone.

I would like therefore to anchor my 5s when I go home and just use my more like my phone then at home. The problem is trying to get calls and texts of the function on the most through continuity. Both devices are signed in my Apple ID and are the same wifi network. But on my more...

In message settings, under "imessage" he says only: "awaiting activation...". »

In Facetime settings, under 'facetime' he also says 'awaiting activation... ". »

The messages app shows no history of conversation.

The facetime app, shows, however, that ONE of my previous facetime calls in history. The strange thing is that this call is not listed in my 5s facetime app even though it shows the call history, before and after this date.

I tried to send/receive texts on my 5 since setting up the most and none appear on my. I tried to make a call, but there was some message automatic verizon to pay money to make the call. Tried not to receive phone calls still well.

As I understand it, iphones that are not activated are simply ipod touch, but for some reason, this does not seem to be true, since on ipod touch, facetime and messages can connect to one identifier Apple and manage the calls and texts with full transparency.

    Any ideas? Much appreciated!

Sorry... I'm a bit confused. Which phone has the SIM inside? You will use the 6 s + as an iPod Touch, but your post seems to say that you will use it as a phone your title says.

Regardless, I think that you need to activate the "iPod Touch", using a SIM card, and then you could remove it. You would lose any function that relies on the SIM door of course.

Activation of a phone is a thing of the part 2. One for the carrier, one for Apple. A real iPod Touch activation would be fair for Apple.

I don't think or other device would do anything if not enabled. Internally, your two devices are phones and probably must be activated in this way. Out the SIM card after activation would be where your phone becomes an iPod Touch.

  • guide the downloadable pdf user for my new ipod touch 128 gig

I go to the hospital and thought it would be nice to have a downloadable PDF? file or users manual for my new 128 GB IPOD Touch. Would be nice to print it and I could read inbetween the misery. I have an IPOD classic 120 GB that was easy to learn, but at 60 years its filled with AC/DC to Zappa. bought a dell as well as Laplink pc mover ultimate transfer cable for when I go home and I was wondering if you fine people might help me find the manual and give me your opion on what product use to transfer everything from my old pc to a new laptop and how they work, which is more important for me to copy Itunes on the laptop. Do I need to install itunes on my new pc before the transfer also. Laplink says I don't have to, but I need help before I head to the nursing home, and in this way can I sell my huge Cyberpower PC and my laptop old, old games to help pay for it. I don't want Government take my last things and I'll just have a laptop and my 2 iPod. they can fight on this small remnant. Thank you very much in advance for any help or ideas on a topic that I think the technology spend me, lol. I have a few years back did some updates on the game turn so could still play the games. Sorry I'm dragging this point, I just wanted to ask the communities for the first time in my life. TYVM, and we hope that everyone has a great day!

I'm sorry, but Apple no longer produces a printable User Guide. It is available in a web manual, or on the iOS device in Safari, or alternatively, you can access it in iBooks.

  • How to transfer iTunes to the new iPod Nano library?

Hello - I have a new iPod Nano and need to transfer my iTunes to my new Nano playlists.  Thank you.

If your songs in your iTunes library, you can set up automatic synchronization for these playlists.

Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see on the screen of the settings in the iTunes window.  Along the left side of the window, in the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  To the right, you see music in the iPod settings screen.

NOTE: Since it is a new Nano, I guess it's currently empty.  All the songs from the iPod that are NOT in your iTunes library will be lost.

On the screen settings of music , at the top, tick the box to Sync music.  Below, if your iPod has enough storage capacity to hold your entire music library, you can choose the option synchronize entire music library.  And click apply at the bottom.

Otherwise, choose the option synchronize playlists, artists, albums, and genres.  Below, look under playlists and find the playlists you want to synchronize with the iPod and select them.  The capacity at the bottom of the window bar indicates how much storage on the iPod is used with the current selection.  When you are finished, click apply down button to synchronize your selection to iPod.

Further, you can update the playlists in iTunes (add and remove songs).  The iPod has no need to be connected.  The next time that you connect the iPod (or click sync , if already connected), iTunes automatically updated the iPod with the same changes.  If you have the iPod sync the music library of anyvalue, iTunes keeps the iPod updated with any change in your music library.
