"The certificate is not reliable because no issuer channel was provided."
When you try to access a site, get the message: "the certificate is not reliable because no issuer channel was provided." I was able to access the site with no problems until yesterday.
There is no option that allows me to continue to the page, so I tried to add an exception manually. However, when I try to do it on my "certificates" tab, I get a message telling me that this Web site already has a valid certificate.
What is the problem? I am able to access the site on other computers, it is only on my laptop this problem appears...
Hello, this is a question of a server that does not properly implement intermediate certificates which binds to the CA certificate trusted by the browser root: http://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=andromeda.lf1.cuni.cz
to avoid that, please just visit this site once, that will put the necessary certificates in the cache of the browser: http://www.terena.org/activities/tcs/repository/

Hello. Did you check your date and time setting is updated?

We are a company with sales almost exclusively through our site. In the last two weeks, we have had many reports (the certificate is not reliable because no issuer channel was provided) of our customers who use FireFox. I suspect that there has been a recent update. Our site worked fine with FireFox so far.
We could start maybe not tell our customers how to set their browser settings. We have clients from across the country and the complaints are coming from across the country. Chrome, Opera, Safari and IE do not have this problem.
You can check the certificate through a site like this string:

The certificate is not reliable because no sender string has been provided
There is a thread archived with this question in many responses, however, there is no explanation as to why this error is thrown on some systems and not on others and on FireFox and not on Safari, Chrome, IE, FireFox (on Mac). Not on all Windows systems this error pops up, but it shows that in some systems of windows and all Linux systems I've tried. So, is this a problem on the server or is it a FireFox problem?
You can get this certificate is not reliable error if the server does not send a required intermediate certificate.
Firefox automatically records the intermediary certificates that send servers in Manager certificates for future use.
If a server does not send a complete certificate chain then you get an untrusted error when Firefox has stored missing intermediate certificates to visit a server in the past that a send it, but you get an untrusted error if this intermediate certificate is not yet registered. You can check the certificate through a site like this string:

As it is said, Chrome, Firefox and Internet explore all give the error message certificate for each attempted site - including the Firefox Add-ons page. The specific error is the "no transmitter channel has given".
(1) this problem is not on my computer - it's on my mom's computer in another city. Therefore, I can't try each possibility bit without fly there - I'm looking for things I can tell him to do it by phone. The problem started today. I already have him given the list of anti-malware programs to install and run from here:
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/982393
Note that, of course, she will have to accept the substitution of security certificate to do these things - I hope that's not bad.
(2) the problem began after that she tried to use Skype, it hung for a very long time and would never connect you. So she tried to reinstall - and she said she clicked through a number of screens agreement and believes she could have installed 3rd third party software malware. It of ridiculous, Skype now put malware onto the computers of people through these false 3rd party add-ons installation? I guess it's possible Skype has been suspended due to some other problem - but she was able to reinstall Skype and managed to do work (but now its internet certificates will not be).
(3) it have BitDefender. I am aware that it is said here:
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/connection-untrusted-error-message
that she must turn off SSL scanning. She turned it off, it has not solved the problem. She turned off and restarted, it does not solve the problem. She has had for the last 6 months and it has never caused a problem.
(4) in addition, BitDefender has announced today that he stopped a malicious program called MySearchDial.exe to try something, it should not. We went through this removal guide:
http://malwaretips.com/blogs/start-mysearchdial-removal/
However, the MySearchDial software was never actually installed in the windows install list, and we found no addons/plugins in the browser list (notice that Firefox Add-ons are not accessible with a certificate error, it gives the error message but DO NOT give you the ability to add an exception so that you cannot access the Add-ons). The only thing we found was b MySearchDial was by default in IE search engine list, despite the fact that there is no add-on, and (b) MySearchDial.exe in the folder temp (now deleted). I see I got BitDefender scan the temp folder * before * I deleted MySearchDial.exe, and he said some threats not found. What? This is BitDefender that warned me of this in the first place!
Date and time 5) are correct.
(6) checked the Windows 7 install, only Skype, Skype Click-to-Call, and (for some reason any) Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, and Visual C++ have been installed or modified today. I'm paranoid about Click-to-call and requested to uninstall, but it does not solve the problem.
(7) the operating system is Win7 home 64 bit.
Something beyond the malware removal without end of the programmes (via the above linked list) that we should try?
OK - Malwarebytes fixed it. It turns out VisualBee browser backup were also there and Malwarebytes found and deleted.
After this happened, the errors of certificate went, but she doesn't still could not connect because the computer was then manually set a proxy server, but it was easy to fix by returning to the automatic detection of settings.
Thank you all for your suggestions.

It is suggested here (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1021610) to check the Web site on networking4all.com
I've checked and the results are quite beautiful. See below:
http://www.Networking4all.com/en/support/tools/site+check/report/?FQDN=happydemics.com & Protocol = httpsBut Firefox still said that it is not approved. What is the problem with the certificate?

This happens on mozilla.com also, so it's a little strange. Other important sites ask me to confirm an exception. Sites like softpedia, microsoft etc.

Google.co.UK does not open because the certificate is not recognized, help
This connection is Untrusted
You asked Firefox to connect on www.google.co.uk, but we cannot confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect safely, sites will present a reliable identification to prove that you're in the right place. However, the identity of this site cannot be verified.
What should I do?If you normally connect to this site without problems, this error can mean that someone is trying to impersonate the identity of the site, and you should not continue.
Check the date and time and time zone in clock of your computer: (double) click on the clock icon in the Windows taskbar.
Find out why the site is not approved, then click on "Technical Details" to expand this section.
If the certificate is not reliable because no issuer channel was provided (sec_error_unknown_issuer) and then see if you can install the intermediate certificate from another source. You can retrieve the certificate and check details such as WHO issued the certificates and the expiration dates of certificates.
- Click on the link at the bottom of the error page: "I understand the risks".
Let Firefox recover the certificate: "Add Exception"-> "get certificate".
- Click on the "view..." button. "and inspect the certificate and the Coachman, who is the issuer of the certificate.
You can see more details like the intermediate certificates that are used in the details pane.
If "I understand the risks" is missing, then this page can be opened in a (i) frame and in this case, try the shortcut menu and use "Frame this: Open image in New Tab".
- Note that some firewall monitors connections (sure) and that programs like Sendori or FiddlerRoot can intercept connections and send their own certificate instead of the certificate of the Web site.
- Note that it is not recommended to add a permanent exception in such a case, so only use it to inspect the certificate.

Windows 7 64 bit
ESET antivirus
The sites in question are all the sites I've used frequently, they are reliable. When I read the page details on caution at least a site had a valid certificate based on the dates. The reasons given don't are not all "expired" there are several others. Here's another example:
www.bankofamerica.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not approved, because no sender string has been provided.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. With your help, I was able to fix the problem.

I started this morning, opens Firefox as usual. The normal task bar has been replaced by a taskbar of Bing. I couldn't get rid of him. So, I tried to reset Firefox. The taskbar of Bing was not deleted. I uninstalled firefox and downloaded the latest version and installed. I also uninstalled the taskbar of Bing as found in my list of programs. I opened Firefox and no matter what I select on the menu or on a website a message appears saying that the site is not reliable. It is as far as I can get in Firefox! The message arrives even for internal actions within Firefox. How can I fix it. It's very frustrating!
Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.
