  I use Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider for storage in the database file Microsoft 2000 (.mdb file) for the past two months with no problems, now I get the error '80004005', of Exception occurred in the Microsoft JET Database Engine: could not open the database. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt. I study some forums but could not get a definitive answer as to why this might be happening.

  Please, help me to understand this error so that I can avoid losing data in the future.

  It is impossible to say when the problem occurred, but as Dennis said that Jet is not a robust database. It falls particularly in situations where is is called to manage large sets of data or be accessible from multiple users at the same time.

  In terms of alternatives, they are many if you want to go this route.

• Detach the Citadel of database move

  Hello

  I'm upgrading from the computer that I use for datalogging. I want to spend my database of the Citadel. Ive tried after the intrucctions here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/2B0C74744BB37391862571F500067C64 , but when I go to detach the database, I get an error "the operation cannot be completed because the resource is being used by another client." There is nothing else running outside MAX, as far as I know.

  Do I really need to detach the database, if I use it again on this computer?  Can I just copy the above data folder?

  It seems that this error occurs when the process is always connected in Distributed System Manager.  Try this article in the knowledge base (do not step 3, the another KB article you have here instead)

  It is probably safe to detach and move the database.

  I have database public synonym 'P' and "S.P" table (in the "S" pattern).
  If my article references select array/object 'P' (without prefix-schema for the table), then there is no reference to the table ("S.P') or that it references a synonym ("P")?
  I understand that if my select query is executed in the session/connection made with schema/user "S", then the database engine does not at all synonymous, it will immediately table 'S.P. Is this right?
  Can you just confirm my understanding, maybe I'm wrong.

  Fix. There is a certain order regarding name resolution.

  If I remember correctly then it searches first for the current schema objects (tables, views, procedures, etc.), then for private synonyms, then public synonyms.

  I get a bit more complex if you have a schema that is also the name of a package for example.

  Details of the full patch for f5 patch are available in this knowledge base article. As a general statement, we encourage everyone to install the patches as soon as they are available through the Update Service, especially if they are marked as Urgent (it is not marked urgent). In this particular case, it is unlikely that you'll turn to all the problems solved by the f5 2012 SP1 hotfix since you use LabVIEW 2013.

  The reason why you see the update in the update service is LabVIEW 2013 installs several versions of the runtime LabVIEW, so Update Service sees that you have on 2012 Run-Time Engine installed and invites you to patch.

• Running the Citadel on HMI and OPC Server OR

  Hello!

  I want to use computers to screen HMI NI TPC 2215 and it interface with a GE Fanuc PLC using OPC Server and save the data in a database of the Citadel.

  I would like to know if the HMI OR supports a full edge of the blown OPC Server and a database of the Citadel. I read that OPC Server and Citadel require a Windows operating system, but since the HMI runs a WinCE (or a WES7) so I'm not sure.

• transit time in the Citadel

  Does anyone know if you can perminantly SHIFT time of a path in the database of the Citadel?

  Here's why: I have a remote device that acquires data and ships of these data (a timestamp) by a serial connection. The timestamp is manully defined using an HMI unit I already have the timestamp is therefore a bit off due to human error. However at the beginning of a test there is a digital pulse that lasts for 1 second, which is used by all my devices as a reference.

  After I run my test, I want this impetus upwards against the line other traces with the same impulse but more precise horodateurs, thus moving the timestamp of the permanent series track equipment within the database.

  Hi Craig,.

  Please specify.  Unfortunately, there is no way to compensate for the Citadel database clock.  If you know that your clock will be turned off by a specific amount, you need to compensate for timestamps manually when you write.  For your first question, I would write the timestamp for the serial line based on a timestamp generated with pulse.  For your second question, you must update the tracks manually.

  Enkitec vertical list Navbar appears momentarily until it is formatted by CSS and it seems OK.

  It is really annoying and makes pages look stupid. This problem is identified as a performance problem and can be solved by putting the support of Plugin files in directories of files instead of the database.

  I created a directory on the database server: D:\102175\Kav\Plugin

  I created a Directory pointing to the file directory database:

  CREATE or REPLACE directory PLUGIN AS "D:\102175\Kav\Plugin".

  GRANT READ THE PLUGIN DIRECTORY TO THE PUBLIC;

  GRANT READ THE PLUGIN DIRECTORY TO ANONYMOUS.

  GRANT READ THE PLUGIN DIRECTORY FOR UTVIKLING.

  I also copied the CSS etc support plugin files in the files directory.

  In the Apex plugin I changed the prefix 'file' #PLUGIN_PREFIX # D:\102175\Kav\Plugin

  Now all the Navbar formatting disappeared and now the navigation bar appears only in form of vertical list.

  I also tried to use the PLUGIN as 'File prefix' same thing.

  I'm not Apex or Web expert so I'm sure there is something that I misunderstood.

  Hmmm, well it does not matter if you do the mapping. The embedded PL/SQL gateway is well integrated in the database in PL/SQL.  All your resources (images, CSS, javascript, etc.) are still be extracted from the base in order to be served to the client. Those in the file system are not in use after installation.

  This is going to be heavy.

  I think you may still be able to make some optimizations by moving the assets of plugin for a name that is mapped by the gateway.

  In your apex installation, take a look at apxldimg.sql see how records and assets are added.  You can then add the plugin files.

  See if that helps.

  In addition, you can follow the comments of Patrick on the post you are referencing and move the inclusion of files to the top of the page AND change the plugin so it does ' t add any more files.  Now in theory, you can skip the download folder and the image and add the plugin assets as standard apex post and reference them with #WORKSPACE_IMAGES # #APP_IMAGES, or # (if you add specifically for an application). But you still want to include them at the top of the page.
