  Hi all

  I hope someone can help me with a problem I have. I am currently coding my first app webworks for the Playbook, and everything went well except that my application icon does not appear. I tried my compiled bar line on the Playbook 1.0.1 Simulator and a physical Playbook running OS 1.0.7.2670, which do not show the icon. The icon I use is 86 x 86 pixel, named "icon.png".   My sidebar file was compiled using Webworks 2.1.0.6. The three files ("blackberry - tablet.xml ', 'config.xml',"icon.png") are located in the root directory of the application.   I assume you are using the file blackberry - tablet.xml in the execution of an application not signed in the PlayBook device. This file is not necessary for signed applications, only the config.xml file is required. And for your problem, I guess it must solve it. In blackberry - tablet.xml , use the following code for the icon.

  I can't download files more... name of God! I've had this problem for a month now. My App World running smoothly, I just got this error in a reference.   Try to remove some unused applications. This is caused by apps with errors something like "too much loaded applications" and try to notice the apps with no icons? Delete them. Make sure you back up your device first and remove these applications one at a time, then try to re-download a few apps. Im not the expert, but I've had this problem for a few weeks and it sucks. It took me long to understand this coz I don't want to format my device like most people suggesting.  Try this one and I hope that lucky hit on you too!

• Z10 lost blackBerry voicemail icon

  Sorry, I'm sure this has been covered before, but please can someone help I am 60 more over the years, remember chalk & slate to school!, anyway some how I deleted my voicemail icon who was sitting at the top of the list of my fav you know 3 squares of the call list.  I tried the wipe which took forever, it returns after the wipe for a brief moment only to disappear again. Need help, please don't tell me that it can not be replaced if BB must be able to find away to do. Because I can't believe that with all that is on the phone that a simple icon cannot be replaced, the poor design of BB if so., TKS

  It is a known problem.  If you have a backup before you delete the icon of your VM restore data from the application that will restore the icon.  The alternative is currently security wipe your device to bring back the icon.

  If you do not want to and you want just a VM icon until this problem is corrected then you can creae a contact that has your VM phone # a break and your inside password and assign this contact to your speed dial.

  I can't understand the following situation:

  When I I click on my blackberry application icon (in the Simulator), the application is fast, no problem. However, when I take that same code and place it on my blackberry, there are a few seconds of waiting time after that the icon has been clicked.

  I thought about it. I just moved the instantiation and several objects of a different class loading and later called these lines of code with an invokeLater method. My first screen contains only the image itself and the other class the rest of the code.

  1. Options > device > application, scroll to BlackBerry AppWorld and delete it.
  2. Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
  3. Now, using your BlackBerry browser, go to the www.blackberry.com/appworld and redownload the AppWorld. It will update your BlackBerryID as well.

  Help, the clock icon is missing on the new phone. Cannot access clock when it is plugged in for charging.

• How can I correct the title missing from applications at random bars?

  After my Windows XP worked for a while, windows start to draw a parallel with no title bar.  What title bars are missing will increase from the time when I switch from one application to.  Title bar of the application itself will be there for a minute and went to the other, before returning the next day.  At the same time, the system becomes unable to open files on windows via sharing network by using a UNC path.  Closing applications randomly will temporarily ease the problem, at least to the extent to be able to access the network again, files but some title bars never come back.

  (3) a missing menu bar

  (4) a missing toolbar

  (5) specific to any individual request and/or its configuration

  Malwarebytes, Avira Antivirus and Scan of Windows malware don't detect anything abnormal.

  The problem is also likely to be linked (to least directly) to my video driver.  I use the latest WHQL certified driver from nVidia.  The problem has occurred through multiple different iterations of the video driver.  A condition that can contribute to the problem is that I have a system of double head - video card readers two high-resolution displays simultaneously, spanning desktop mode.

  Most likely, the problem is related to a kind of exhaustion of resources, but I can't determine which.  It manages, objects, or something I don't know the name, whatever it is, I'm short of it.  What resources are needed to correctly draw title bars and how I determine what application is fleeing their or consuming wildly inappropriate many of them?

  If you have more code access keys to sign your signature request, you can contact the BlackBerry World of the vendor management support to clear the flag of your application ID, allowing you to update your application.  However, note that if you do this your upgrade of the application appears as a new separate downloading BlackBerry World application.

  I did not move icons and somehow my photo on the homescreen icon is missing.  When I do a search I can find it. I removed the battery, updated to the most recent operating system, tested on all pages of all the home screens and looked in all folders.  I don't know how to bring it back.

  It seems to be a feature missing from the call log.

  You can send SMS, Email, MMS to people registered in the call log.

  in earlier systems of BB, when you open your call log by pressing the green call button, you get a list of all the people who called you, missed calls, dialed calls. Whenever you move the bar on one of these numbers and then click on the Logo of BB button (menu access), you get a lot of different options, including sending SMS or MMS.

  With the new OS 10, this feature is not there. I confronted HELL trying SMS from someone who had just called me.

  I received a phone call from a unknown mobile one of the sellers phone number and he asked me to send him a number by SMS. After getting the number for him, I went in the call log (since it is not stored in my contacts) and tried to view the search options for SMS options. He wasn't there! I had to add the provider contacts and from there, I could see all the options.

  Is it possible to do it from the call log?

  Never tried it before, but he managed to escape earlier. This isn't a fault with Blackberry, here's how:

  1. on the call log, touch the number and hold the key until the menu appears on the right side

  2. click the icon "View details call" high

  3. on the bottom, you can type 'Text' to send an SMS to this number

  I do not use ripple either but can see what the problem is (nothing to do with the ripple)

  Open your file config.xml for the new project (probably copied 'App A'?)

  In the widget section, change the id to something different, for example com.example.AppB

  Save - reload the ripple and make sure you have the new ID in the Config-> Widget
