The computers on the network: not configured and do not want

If I turn off network discovery in the advanced settings of the network and sharing in my two computers Center, a 10 Windows and other Windows 8, will then not recognize each other while at home, both connected to my wireless phone?

I just did a factory on a single computer restore and - this has never happened before-, I noticed that what I was adding or editing in a computer occurred then the other, I don't want to. For example, I changed my wallpaper in one and the other was automatically the same background a few minutes later.

I want to be able to use the two computers in my house, but keep them separate. I guess the power off network discovery will do the job, but am not sure. I guess I DO NOT want TO or should not, unplug the network in general or the network driver. I don't even know the difference between the two.

I also want my wireless adapter to continue working and I read that disconnection from the network can change something in the adapter.

Finally, I do not understand why the computers now appear automatically connected, because I did restore factory before and this has never happened.

Hello Daffy,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I will certainly help you with the problem you are experiencing.

If you disable the network discovery, you will not be able to share files and folders between devices on the same network.

The problem you are experiencing is due to the synchronization between devices with your Microsoft Account. When the synchronization is turned on, Windows keeps track of the settings that you care and sets them for you on all your devices Windows 10.

You can choose to synchronize/UN-sync things such as web browser settings, passwords and the color themes.

So, I suggest you disable synchronization of Windows settings.
