The computers on the network: not configured and do not want
If I turn off network discovery in the advanced settings of the network and sharing in my two computers Center, a 10 Windows and other Windows 8, will then not recognize each other while at home, both connected to my wireless phone?
I just did a factory on a single computer restore and - this has never happened before-, I noticed that what I was adding or editing in a computer occurred then the other, I don't want to. For example, I changed my wallpaper in one and the other was automatically the same background a few minutes later.
I want to be able to use the two computers in my house, but keep them separate. I guess the power off network discovery will do the job, but am not sure. I guess I DO NOT want TO or should not, unplug the network in general or the network driver. I don't even know the difference between the two.
I also want my wireless adapter to continue working and I read that disconnection from the network can change something in the adapter.
Finally, I do not understand why the computers now appear automatically connected, because I did restore factory before and this has never happened.
Hello Daffy,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I will certainly help you with the problem you are experiencing.
If you disable the network discovery, you will not be able to share files and folders between devices on the same network.
The problem you are experiencing is due to the synchronization between devices with your Microsoft Account. When the synchronization is turned on, Windows keeps track of the settings that you care and sets them for you on all your devices Windows 10.
You can choose to synchronize/UN-sync things such as web browser settings, passwords and the color themes.
So, I suggest you disable synchronization of Windows settings.

Original title: computer not identified on the network
Received a warning to unidentified on the network computer. Under the status of the network looked up and saw a computer I know nothing on my network. What is - this and what that can do. ?
Implement the security of your network... How to do depends on details. If your network is at home on a wifi router, and then implement WPA2, which will prevent unauthorized as well as encryption of your data access. Follow these steps on the router itself (once again the details depend on your situation.)
While I'd love to implement WPA2, WPA2 will not accept my network and I am limited to WPA. My point is that if it is a wireless intrusion (we don't even know if it's wireless at this point), then the security settings on the router must first be discussed with the manufacturer ISP or router so that they are appropriate for devices and services and programs.
It could also be a USB transmitter attached to the computer. It might be the malicious program or a problem with the firewall or a real hack of the computer through the firewall or caused by malicious software (even if you use cables or wireless). It could be the entire network (but the number of computers which implies) or only this one computer. It could also be a system service using the network and not really another computer in itself (in office what he says and where - some may be difficult to recognize and interpreted as another computer). There are many possibilities. We do not know what the warning generation program or what he says. More information is needed. I would also like to work on it - and it can follow to her new home.

I'm living in a college dorm and only have access to the internet via a hard line to my computer. So I wanted to give my other accessibility of consumer electronics set up an Ad-Hoc network and share the internet connection. When I originally set up the network it works fine, but after the devices go to sleep or I leave the room it stops working. I had problems to keep the internet connection to share continually, which I fixed it. I then had a DHCP problem with the hard line that has been resolved through troubleshooting function. Now, even if the network is active and is connected to the internet my devices cannot connect and then the network shuts down.
Is there a way to create an Ad Hoc network that works similar to a wireless router, so when my computer is turned, it works automatically? If so, how can I make this happen without these problems?
Hello
I suggest to activate temporarily the antivirus as well as windows firewall and check if it helps.
Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

No idea why I can't pay online? That's what he says in tiny letters below: USER_STORE_COUNTRY_MISMATCH?
Hi Frederic,.
The country store & the Adobe ID, payment details must be same.
For tax reasons, it is not possible to change the country associated with an existing Adobe ID. To work around the problem, you can create a new Adobe ID to the e-mail address associated with your existing Adobe ID see the link for instructions:

Connection to the network with Vista and Windows 7 computers
A similar question was answered before, but it's XP computers I use Vista and Windows 7.
I have a Windows 7 computer that is part of a home network and who also has a connected printer. I want to access the printer from a Vista computer that is also on the network. When I try to connect to the Windows 7 computer, I get the error "logon failure: the user has not granted the type of logon required on this computer."
I've seen solutions have been when the system tries to access the printer was an XP system. Can someone help me with this problem?
Thank you
Jim

I got my wife connected to my home network running Windows Media Center on Windows 7 laptop and it could be accessed by all computers on my home network. I replaced the laptop of the woman with a new laptop which has Windows 7. During the installation of Windows 7, it automatically set to join my home network. Now all but one of my other computers can access files/folders on the new laptop without a user name or password. But when I try to access the new laptop from pc it ask me a username and password. I never put in place of user names with password on all computers. I can go in the new laptop and send files and public folders from the pc of one of the problems, but not the reverse. Someone has an idea how I can fix this where it is not regarding the username and password on this computer?

A bet with the network team - configure the VLANs on Teddy does not work against Cisco?
Hello
We have a great place of Esx and I have a bet with one of the network Admins.
I configured a vSwitch to work with 1 bear. On this vSwitch I configured 1 vlan with a Vlan ID 100
I told the guy from the network to set up the bear side here and he said he has set up 'Access' and not trunk as normally I ask because it's only 1 Vlan.
I said ok and we tried and nothing works, when I configured the Vlan 0 in the Esx, it started working.
Of course we cannot leave it like that and need to Config the Vlan on the Esx.
I told them that once I configured the Vlan on my side there is nothing to do there, and they need to do the thing here.
they say the same thing.
Who is right? It is something they need to configure side here if she's 'access' and not 'trunk '?
or is it something at my side?

Windows XP SP3 has ceased to recognize a USB flash drive and card reader that he always acknowledged in the past. I tried to use Fix - It to correct the problem. Fix - It is then asked to restart the computer. When the computer is restarted, it would not load. After waiting almost two hours, I restarted with the last good configuration. Then reloaded, it took nearly an hour. Before using the Fix - It, the computer was loading in less than five minutes after a reboot. There a lot of things on it. What can I do now to solve the problem posed by Fix - It and also correct the problem with XP recognizes does not flash drives?
Hi lental,
· Have what fixit you tried?
· Do you have an error message when you try to start the computer in normal mode?
· What is the brand and model of the computer?
· You're able to boot in safe mode?
Follow these methods.
Method 1: Follow these steps:
Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.
Step 2: If the problem does not still in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.
After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.
(a) click Start, run.
(b) type msconfigand click OK.
(c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.
(d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

Extend the network 1 Extreme and 1 Express
I have the latest Airport Extreme, and I would like to extend my network to the floor with best performance. I have the ability to connect to an Airport Express Terminal via an Ethernet cable. My question is this... If I set up a roaming network using the Express connected via a Cat5 cable or Cat6 will be broadcasting from the Express (capable of) wireless A/B/G/N/AC channels? Or he can do A/B/G/N? Assuming that I bought the last Airport Express Terminal. Or, if I wanted to AC that I have to use a second Airport Extreme?
The Airport Express is not capable, "ac", so if you want to use "ac" of speed signals more high, you'll need another AirPort Extreme.
In both cases, you can use Configuration Apple 'Wizard' to automatically configure the AirPort Express or Airport Extreme for a network roaming... than Apple installation called 'Spread with Ethernet' in their installation utility.

Printers and copiers have always been the bane of my existence! Last summer, I replaced my old Epson with a new 4630 OfficeJet to gives me a few years peace. Peace lasted for about 9 months, and then he fell just the network. I made a few weak attempts to put on, and then abandoned. Now, the school is in session and grandchildren want to use the printer. I therefore once more, Tech-granny trying to fix another printer who hates me. I started by turning off the printer and it turn. I whipped on the menu of the printer until I found wireless, then selected the wireless configuration wizard. He discovered my network but not remember the password. I lightened it with the password and she confirmed that it was connected. Imagine my joy! I run a wireless network test, then print a network configuration page. After removing all printers from my Mac earlier, I now tried to add the OfficeJet. My beloved Mac has argued that it saw no printer, that he did not even a hint of a printer.
Being a martial art Granny and I was near the end of the roll, I decided to jam printer said throat of the Mac by entering the IP address of the printer directly from the configuration page. My sweet Mac have searched and searched - and then communicated to me that "device is inaccessible. Well, shit! Strength of the network is 4, it sounds good. Is this good? I have to move the printer closer to the router? For now, the victories of network and I lost. I hate losing. Why the hell a printer works perfectly fell on the net in the first place? Grandma needs wine! I called Apple. We have reinstalled the operating system and everything works.
