The DB issue patch of the CARS from 10201 to 10205

Hello

I have the task to patch a CCR environment from 10201 to 10205 on linux x86_64, according to the README file for the patch (#8202632), I first apply the patch

1.Clusterware.
Database 2.Oracle homes.

I'm kinda new to patching RAC databases, I wanted just a confirmation that the database (even if the ORACLE_HOME is not shared and local on each node) patch is not a rolling patch. *. The README indicates
.
.
Close all Oracle RAC instances on the nodes, which range from the House of Oracle on which you will apply the patch set. To stop all Oracle RAC instances for a database, type the following command where db_name is the name of the database:

* $ srvctl stop database db_name d *.
.
.

The above command will disable the databases on all nodes, so this isn't a rolling upgrade and the database must be facing downwards, so that end users should be informed before patching there is a downtime involved.

No confirmation of the people who have done this will be highly appreciated.

Thank you
C.

Hello

For clusterware we rolling patch.
-apply the clusterware 10.2.0.5
-Follow the instructions at the end of the installation

for the patch may not not be database upgrade means database must be down

See you soon

Time Machine backup to a sparsebundle.

The sparsebundle will use the share name of computer. So, it should be obvious who is your Macbook and that is your Macpro.

Open the sparsebundle in Finder and keep open the subfolders until you get to the backup of each separate hard drive...

You has of course set the exclusion in Time Machine?

By default, Time Machine will exclude your second drive unless you have included it. Did you?

Once you get to this level during the backup, you can do a full restore manually whenever you want.

Before the summer I bought a Huawei P9 phone, I can easily see the photos on the phone - I can't just them on my mac.  When I connect via a USB cable, it refuses my permissions.

I'm pulling my hair out and I have enough to do with! Help, please...

You need the phone provider support - there is a problem with the way their phone works and how to use it and has nothing to do with the Photos or iPhoto - if pictures is consistent with standards of good Photos and iPhoto won't work with it

You may need special third party software for your phone load in Photos or iPhoto

  • Vista will not start after update 12/9 - a patch prevents the system from starting.

My computer has downloaded an automatic update on 09/12/09.  It restarted while I was at work, and when I got home he had just ran a startup repair function which could not solve the problem.  I tried to run the rapair again and it failed.  I tried to do a system restore on the eve of the update, but the operating system could not start again, and I was sent automatically the Startup Repair tool.

When I look at the diagnostics, the message says "a patch prevents the system from starting.  I have no idea how to solve this problem.  Can someone please?

    PCrepair101,
You try to use the package manager I link a few post above?  Otherwise, demarrer start from your DVD, type command prompt, and then follow the steps in method 2.  http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/940410
If this does not fix it you can rename the pending.xml file and restart.  To do this, boot from the DVD and enter the command line.  Then type:
CD windows\winsxs - press on enter
    Ren pending.xml pending.old - press on enter

    Then restart the system.

You said "when I try to do a system restore, it is said that there is no previous restore point" and I was wondering if you have tried a "Startup Repair" not a system restore.  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  • CD burned from the computer will not playback in the car

    original title: burning music

After burning to a CD, they will play back computer and DAB radio/CD, but not more hardware and cars.

Is this because the CD player is reading in MP3 format? What should I do to the car

    Thank you

Older models can't read CD - R or CD - RW. You will need to check the documentation that came with them to verify this.

If a new unit is supposed to play a CD burned, but he can't, so its usually because the CD no was NOT finalized (i.e. burned as a multisession - you just need to finalize it) or burned at very high speed. (You should always burn at the advertised speed of at least your burning half: IE if it can manage 48 x then burn at 24 x max personally I always burn at 12 x, slow but you get a good picture on the CD).

On the other hand, if you burned as a data (mp3) disc then the most modern of the stereo and car players are capable of reading this format, but more its not. Again, check the docs. According to the music CD from above, if your player is mp3 capable, but can not read the CD, make sure that the CD has said has been finalized or burned at low speed.

About your car, once again reading the manual. If it can read mp3, then burn them on a CD in the form of data (no music), low speed andf make sure finalize you the CD.

The best piece of software and flexible to use in my humble OPINION, is CDBurnerXP (Google it). as against WMP (which is very basic). It also asks you before burning if you want to finalize the CD or make a "multisession."

    See you soon,.

  • Impossible for cars from Need for Speed after updating the graphics driver.

I recently updated my drivers intel HD graphics 4000 on my laptop Samsung windows 8. Everything works fine with the updated drivers, but there is a specific problem with it. As I updated my graphics drivers, I ran "need for speed \u200b\u200bHot pursuit 2010". He started very well, but controlling the cars in the game looks very different he was with previous drivers. It becomes difficult to control the car in the game. When I deleted the drivers and represented the game, the game ran everything as he ran with the graphics drivers updated but the difference was that control the car in the game back to normal.

Only thing drivers assigned to day seemed to be control of the car in the game need for speed pursuit 2010 \u200b\u200bHot. I have other car games as well and they work perfectly well with the updated drivers.

Any ideas what is causing this issue?

I contacted Samsung and they provided the solution. Problem is now solved.

  • No sound from the Clip when it is connected to the car charger and car s in the

I just got a car charger for my 8 GB Clip. I have the Clip connected to the connector of the car aux in, and it plays beautifully this way.

However, when I connect the car charger, which is a fact by Motorola for a mobile phone, the sound of the Clip completely stops.  There is no sound at all.

Even if I barely touch the metal of the car charger USB plug to the USB port of the clamp, the sound cuts.

A ground loop isolator would correct this problem? The comments that I have read of these say all that they helped with motor and alternator noise, but I don't have that.  I have no sound at all, even if the Clip is loaded and he continues to play according to the display of the item.

I checked the car charger works well because I have a box of jump with a record of 12 VDC (just like in the car).  The cool Clip and plays with a helmet with the Motorola car charger in this configuration very well.

Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

Just for this follow-up, the ground loop isolator completely fixed the problem I had with the sound cutting on my video in the car.

The one I chose was the PAC SNI-1/3.5 RCA noise filter.  He goes online with 3.5 mm cable to the and has a socket on one end and a plug on the other.  It would have been cool if he had just had two male connectors, because then I could have plugged one side in the Clip and the other in the input of the car Jack.

There is no significant deterioration in the sound, and now I can load the Clip while listening.

  • Media Player, I moved all the music files from drive C to drive D, both at the Court, due to the car being filled C... How direct the player to find the new path?

I have a laptop HP with two drives.  The C drive is intended to the BONE, with the D drive, intended to manage file storage.  I didn't know that the music files were originally instructions in the C drive, which is now virtually full.  I copied all the files of music, (both for drive D, but as a backup to external hard drive)... now, I need to know how to redirect the media player to be able to read the files from the disc... Please help me?

Open Media Player, click file on the Menu, click Open.

Using the folder display left side cover on your D drive, find your playlist or music file.

Click your playlist or music file, and then click Open.

  • I can't install the SP3 from Microsoft Update Center

I can't install the SP3 from Microsoft Update Center. So I contacted Microsoft Support and ran diagnostic scan tool and sent the results. They send e-mail attachment reset_subinacle. It's done. FAILED. I tried 3 times and 2 days later... still cannot copy beethov9.wma. file. So now what should I do to get this SP3 on my son's computer? My son has enough disk space for SP3 and I made sure and prepared for this installation. Does anyone know what I need to do? Help!

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

    jneen420

Yes, I'm familiar with your recent discussions on this particular computer as well as the fact that he gave to your son as a used computer. Be so familiar with the history of this computer, I feel confident in saying he was already infected when he gave your son.

I fear that the only way to get this computer secure and fully patched to Windows Update will be formatting the hard drive - and then do a clean install of Windows.

Since you don't have the disks that originally came with the computer (and assuming that the original owner would have given them to you when gave you the computer if there were), we must assume (or at least to cross our fingers and hope) that there is a hidden restore partition that could be used to return the computer to the condition it was before first it left the factory. I can assure you that can support Dell & will help you, if not directly through the Dell Community forum:http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514.aspx

    Follow the instructions below:

Personal data backup (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this point) then format the HARD disk and do a clean install of Windows.  Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) won't fix this!

HOW to do a clean install of Windows XP: see method 1 and http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html#steps in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/978307

Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care ofeverything on the next page before otherwise connect the machine to the internet or one local network (i.e. other computers) and before using a flash drive or the SD card that is not brand new, or has not been freshly formatted:

Tip: After getting the computer fully patched, download/install KB971029 manually:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971029

NB: No matter what Norton or McAfee free trial which is preinstalled on the computer when you bought will be reinstalled (but invalid) when Windows is reinstalled. You MUST uninstall the trial for free AND download/run the removal tool appropriate prior to installing the updates, Windows Service Packs or IE upgrades AND BEFORE installing your new anti-virus application (which will require WinXP SP3 must be installed).

If these procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, good reputation and stand-alone computer (that is, not BigBoxStoreUSA or Geek Squad) repair facility. Expect to pay about $150 USD (or more) for this service.

[Yes, times are tight for all of us right now. [You might find a computer local club or a technical school that could do this work for you free of charge.]
