The difficulty to launch android applications reconditioned on device PlayBook (Simulator OK)

Just updated my android app and it passed verification.  I will install on my PlayBook, and it won't start.

The application works on the new 2.0 PlayBook Simulator very well, but when I go to install on the current device, it installs, but will not start.

I tried without success (all these I tried both USB and WiFi connection) the following:

  • Restart the PlayBook after the 2.0 update (several times)
  • Signature of the bar and the deployment using command-line tools
  • Do not sign the bar and deployment via command line tools (after configuring Debug token)
  • Deployment by using the new eclipse plugin - is to expire, I have even increased the time-out value of 60 seconds and much more), it gets stuck on "Launch BlackBerry Android Runtime."... ", then a message that says" failed to connect ├a 192.168.1.139 to BAD! »

Also, I'm under Mac OSX Lion and v2.0.0.3778 PlayBook.

Anyone else having any of these issues or having luck getting your reconditioned apps to run on the real device?

Any of you installed a pre-beta version of an Android player that has been disclosed on another forum?

Whether a security wipe can be in the order that I suspect that the two versions of the player are probably in conflict!

  • Customize the action of an Android application bar

    Hi all

When you run an application on BB10 Android, the operating system creates an action bar, which is located at the bottom of the screen. The bar contains the "info" button, back button, show/hide the button and the button that triggers the menu in the Android app.

I still want to show the bar and delete the info and show/hide the buttons of it. It seems that there is no way to customize the bar to BB 10.1. Does anyone know if BB 10.2 provide APIs to customize the action of the Android app bar?

    Thank you

    Max

There is no way to customize it.

However at the point 10.2 the show info / pin buttons are gone, there is only a menu button and back.

(Of course, the bar is always shown, and it is possible that we will finally have an option allowing developers to disable the bar for their full application)

  • Why can't I see my downloads in the downloads folder? (Android 4.2.1 Jellybean)

I just got the new Google Nexus 4 and turned mobile Firefox as my main browser, but I recently discovered a problem. When I download a file (such as a PDF) out of a site to read with quickoffice Android, no file will in app downloads Android. I assumed that the file was only bring bring temporarily a file downloaded for a while from view but when I tried this same process with mobile Chrome, has been in the application of downloads. I installed a third party for the browser on my phone and looked into the downloads folder, it showed for my phone and discovered the files I was downloading with Firefox in it. It seems that Firefox does not display the files downloaded in the download provided with Android application which is a problem because it means that without a third party for the browser, you can not get rid of them. (Petty for sizes but they eventually fill your storage of phones). A download folder is provided with Firefox? Downloads is visible in the application downloads stock?

Using stock download required additional permissions. We didn't add the following permission to the app.

    DOWNLOAD FILES WITHOUT NOTIFICATION

Allows the application to download files via the download manager without any notification to the user.

Downloads can be viewed using a file browser. Personally, I like OI File Manager as it is exactly what I need and nothing more.

  • Set up for the signature of 10 BlackBerry applications (error: null)

    Hello

I am recording my WebWorks for BB10 debugging application token so I can try an application on a device (Playbook). I followed the exact steps that lie in this documentation: https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/ww_publishing/signing_setup_bb10_apps_200839...

    When I run the command:

    blackberry-signer -register -csjpin
        -storepass

All I get is the following:

    Info: File created CSK

    Error: null

He does all the work and failed in the last step which is supposed to create the author.p12 file. The ' error: null "really doesn't tell me much about what is the problem. The people who work on it really should display error messages that are more appropriate.

So my question is: Y at - it a newspaper or something that I can work on this error? Does anyone have an idea what is a failure because I did several times and each time that I make sure that I don't the steps correctly, so I do know not what is happening here.

I would really appreciate help with this.

    Thank you

I'm all in Windows 7 and I installed SDK BB10.

Could you share the exact command you run for blackberry-signatory? In this case, we'll pretend your PIN is MYPIN and KeystorePassword MYKEY.

Also, could you please confirm if all the files (sigtool.db, sigtool.csk and author.p12) exist in this folder:

  • Application of the WebWorks App launch

    Hi all

I'm still new to the development of BlackBerry, but I'll try to find a way that if I have a WebWorks app (application) and a native app B, I would like to launch Application B with data of Application. Once the Application B is done, it must then be able to transmit some data more back to Application A.

I started to look around and read through the api blackberry.launch

    https://origin-bdsc.webapps.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/ww_webrefs/blackberry_launch_971534_1...

but from there I see that you are able to launch specific applications.

    All advice is appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

You can do this today on BlackBerry OS 5.0 - BlackBerry 7 (J2ME platform) using the blackberry.invoke.JavaArguments API:

    https://bdsc.webapps.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/APIs/BlackBerry.Invoke.JavaArguments.html

You can also leverage plans.  In the J2ME platform, you can create a hyperlink with this beginning: or email: or by sms: to invoke the corresponding application when clicked.  Here's an example page:

    http://BlackBerry.github.com/WebWorks-samples/kitchenSink/HTML/browser/schemes.html

Thus, some MIME types are supported.  For example, if you had a link to a file external doc of your WebWorks App (for Tablet OS), so your users have to click on it then it would launch the corresponding application (DocsToGo).

    See you soon,.

  • At the launch of applications they constantly ask me to connect

    Hello

I know there are a lot of other posts about it, but let me explain.

I have recently reactivated my Creative cloud subscription after having passed (I missed a month). I got my set-up account, all set to update (CC and apps). I'm going to start an application and it gives me this:

    Screen Shot 2016-06-11 at 6.47.07 PM [662954].png

    Screen Shot 2016-06-11 at 6.47.22 PM [662955].png

When the thank you window disappears as she disappears and then reappears and is in a continuous loop.

I tried to delete the omp.db file, I tried a logout and back in. I ran through every Adobe help guide I found to my problem, but none of the solutions have worked.

I went ahead and ran a few tests. First test was to close the session, uninstall all adobe applications, restart, reinstall creative cloud, reboot and then log in. Did not work. Secondly, I tried logging on to my boyfriend of the cloud computer creative app and launched very well applications. He logged into his account on my computer and started very well applications. It seems to be a glitch account and nothing to do with the software/device. I also checked my account and it says: I am a paid subscriber.

    Can anyone help?

    Hi Justin,

    Please, try the following steps:

    • Log out of the desktop application Adobe Creative Cloud (connect and disconnect activate Cloud Creative applications)
    • Browse to the location: / Library/Application Support/Adobe
    • Rename the folder 'SLStore' to 'SLStore_old '.
    • Rename the folder 'SLCache' to 'SLCache_old '.
    • Connect to the desktop application Adobe CC and to launch any application.

    Kind regards

I have my Viewer app done, I turned my folio for Android and then install the .apk on my Android HTC Desire Z phone.  IM assuming that the reason why the 'slip' does not, is because I'm not using an Android Tablet?  I can visualize the application "Adobe Content Viewer" but not in the Viewer application.  Does make sense?

Of application are what type you referring? If the app is in the launch area, then you will see the progress bar just below the icon on your dock launch pad. • Photo not valid error when launching an application

    Hello

When launching an application through the web browser, I get this weird error.

Starts the RDP session, the profile starts to connect, and as username and group political stuff ends, I get a little popup with the title 'Quest vWorkspace Shell' and "invalid image" message.  At the bottom of the screen is a pnshell.cmd minimized command prompt that is sitting there until I click OK in the popup mentioned previously.  Once I click OK, then the vWorkspace application will launch successfully.

The pnshell.cmd has the following inside:

REM added by RMC to prevent permissions app sprinkled with admins

    c:\Windows\syswow64\Ifmember administrators

If not ErrorLevel 1 Goto SkipAdmins

    c:\Windows\SysWOW64\pnshell.exe

    I'm on vWorkspace v8.0

    The RDSH is 2008 R2

Any ideas why I get this error?

    Thank you!

    Nick.

    Hello Terry,

Thanks for the reply.  We use Sophos, but I added the file C:\Windows\SysWOW64\pnshell.exe to the list anyway, restarted the TS, and it's always as problem.  I also added pnstart.exe to the list too.

I noticed now that this happens only to a specific user.  Other users seem to be the problem... So... don't know why, but I hope it's a?  If you have any ideas why I would be eager to hear.

    Thank you

    Nick.

Many users on crackberry have the same problem on all BB10 devices since the update of the OS was pushed.

A workaround is to install the runtime Android 10.3.2.2813 and Knowyou.  Once the files are installed, you can delete apps normally.
