the duo of sony 13 has gorilla glass

I received conflicting information. The store rep Sony said yes, as did a review of Ultrabook.com. The representative of call Sony said no, after that she went to get. There is no mention of it on their Sony store website

Hello cjo34,

Specifications of Marketing for the DUO13 do not have to reference "Gorilla Glass".

That being said, I can tell you that the screen is durable enough for touchscreen everyday usage, however I would advise against putting the heavy weight or pressure on a specific point on the screen.

Here is an excerpt directly in the VAIO manual on this model:
"The LCD screen is made of glass reinforced to implement high durability, however treat the screen carefully because it is not 100% unbreakable."

  • Gorilla glass at the back of the lid protection? (S7-391)

    Hello world!

It is a hardware problem and this will help me to take better care of my ultrabook (Acer Aspire S7-391).

    1. Is it true that the glass of the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 2 technology to protect the touch screen?
    2. It's true that the back of the cover (where the 'Acer' bright logo is) is also protected with 2 Gorilla glass?

I ask to these two questions because I think I read somewhere but I don't remember where, that the touch screen is protected with gorilla glass 2, but also the back of the cover, so it will not scratches.

The thing is that if it isn't true, I need to know as soon as possible so that I can cover the back of the cover with a protective and transparent skin special and maybe a blanket.

    Thanks in advance.

In regards to the side House. It certainly feels and sounds (when you type it) glass for me. If his Gorilla glass or not, it's the glass. I wouldn't put a protector to this topic that unlike a phone, it does not rub against the pockets with grain in them or anything like that. It won't be scratched with a fingernail, etc.. Protectors, which size are difficult to achieve without bubbles and can adversely affect the clarity of the screen.

  • Where is the DLNA app on the tablet of Sony?

I just bought a new Sony Experia Tablet (model SGPT121GB/S) and I want to use the DLNA functionality to watch media on my Windows PC.

I followed all the instructions by (Sony site) and other sites to allow the sharing of multimedia files, but my Sony Tablet can't see my Windows device. Neither Windows sees my tablet when it searches for devices. I think I need to set up my Sony tablet, and indeed the instructions to do this are provided here (https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34560/c/65, 66 / but I have a problem: the "DLNA" app isn't here!) Apparently I have to initialize DLNA on my Tablet launching this app, but it is not installed and I can't find it anywhere! I searched Google Play and he of not here, then where can I get it from?

The DLNA app has been deleted by the update of the firmware Android 4.0.3r5a. However, you can access peripheral DLNA enabled using applications, WALKMAN, Album and film. Read the next web page.

  • Yes, we have Gorilla glass!

The data sheet of the Atrix:

    http://www.Motorola.com/consumers/us-en/consumer-product-and-services/mobile-phones/CI.Motorola-ATRI...

I do not use screen protectors because they always add a disability level - there is no way around it. I did have a problem with scratching all glass screen me - even non-Gorilla glass, but Gorilla glass makes it even more difficult to get a scratch.

The popularity of screen protector was born once when touch screens were plastic, and touch non-ecran phones had a clear plastic (Blackberry and other candy bar style phones) case - if you scratched a Pocket PC or Palm touch you have to replace the digitizer everything - and a Burr on your pen and you have sratch - protective kind are cheap insurance.

The fingers will not scratch glass, and unless you upgrade your phone with your keys, you have nothing to fear. But then they did in gorilla glass, so keys and phones can get it

How to turn off the microphone for sony hdr-pj260v

    Hi dstrakal,

Option to disable the built-in microphone is not available in the camcorder. However, the camcorder has an input jack to connect an external microphone, there are two possible solutions for this:

    1. Connect a microphone with a switch ON / OFF the microphone on the camcorder decision-making. Then, set the switch to the external microphone to the OFF position. This will disable the microphone on the camcorder.

    2. Connect a dummy stereo mini plug to the microphone on the camcorder Jack.

If my post answered your question, please mark it as "acceptable Solution".

  • The future of Sony a-mount DSLT

    Hello,
My name is Dr Neil Ridgway and I've been interested for a while in upgrading my old camera (a Nikon) to a Sony a-mount FF system such as the a99. I see the benefits of using the Sony a99 over the Nikon / Canon range of DSLRs e.g. the EVF, IBIS, SLT, AF etc. However over the last year to 2 years I have not done that since I have heard about "updates" to this range of professional cameras e.g. improvements in AF, better lenses etc. The eventual release of the a77II seemed to support that.

I was expecting to hear something about the new range of cameras and / or lenses at Photokina (one of, if not, the largest european photography show) on the 15/09/2014. At the press event the only a-mount news was "we have a a77II" and that was it.

Funnily enough I was quite disappointed with this and looking at several forums I can see that there are tens of thousands of very upset people regarding the lack of information about the future of Sony A-mount cameras and lenses. I understand the focus is on e-mount, the new compact FF camera, but to have no news or even a lens roadmap for a-mount is a bit concerning.

Why would I invest in the a-mount FF professional camera system, if the future is uncertain?

I found this quote from one of the forums -

"We have heard NOTHING from Sony about the future of this line. We NEED some communication. We need some sort of signal. If A-mount is going to be put on the back burner, or discontinued entirely, we deserve to know about it so we can make plans to move to Canon or Nikon."

Looking at the forums a lot of people are already doing that. If your intention is to make people move over to Nikon / Canon you are doing the right thing.

I understand there is a rumor that you might announce something in January 2015 but that might be too little too late.

You need to say something now. If you think this is just one person having a rant - have a look at the followinig forums.

I'm quite puzzled by the lack of transparency wth Sony concerning the future of the mount.  Sony should realize they need to appease users mount, tempted by the competing DSLR mounts constant progress.

Sony, let us know what you're doing with mount!  If we're going to be all FE all the time from here, on a large, but we need to know.

  • How to disable caps lock / disable the notification of the computer laptop sony vaio

I want to disable caps lock / enable pop-ups in the computer laptop sony vaio.

Whenever I press Caps while using an application full screen like any game, it brings me back to break my game or as the desktop application.

I tried to do this using easy access in the Control Panel, but it did not work.

Please tell me how to do it. I pasted a picture here so that you can get a better idea

Don't forget: I don't usually turn off the key lock, I want to disable the notification that is displayed by pressing the capitals enabled.
In addition, during the strike, this notification disables typing for 3 seconds. This notification is very annoying
    Additional note:
I have a desktop windows 7 (custom) and a computer laptop sony i3 which is one year old.  Non of them illustrates this notification.
Only this computer based i5 laptop vaio's I bought 3 months ago.
I simply disabled options in ease of access and now same num lock gives notification, then its certainly a problem with windows.

someone is always there to help?

THIS PROBLEM IS WHEN CONNECT BLUETOOTH TO YOUR COMPUTER KEYBOARD, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR KEYBOARD, BUT IT IS FEATURES RATHER USELESS INCORPORATED BY THE MANUFACTURER OF THE COMPUTER.
IF YOU HAVE A DELL, LENOVO OR ANY OTHER BRAND, YOUR SOLUTION CAN BE OF THE USELESS "" QUICKSET. "." EXE"PROCESS.

WELL, after days of looking for a specific response from VAIO, finally I came with a solution for VAIO users whose computer is equipped with a receiver to blue tooth ATHEROS.

1 - type "regedit" in Start-Run menu to open your registry database.
    2 - navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ATHEROS\VistaAddOn\KBNotify
    3. - the value of '0 '.
Close regedit, restart your computer and you're done.
Be careful not to change anything else in your registry, unless you know what you're doing.
FIND THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION TOOK ME SEVERAL HOURS, SHAME ON MICROSOFT AND SONY, IT IS THE MOST STUPIDEST USELESS FILM THAT I HAVE EVER MET.
If your bluetooth receiver isn't ATHEROS, simply look for the brand name of your receiver instead of 'ATHEROS' and look for a similar register, it may look like 'BTTray', 'BTNotify' or similar.
    Good luck
  • Gorilla glass

I scratched my monitor, so I can t understand why not make the gorilla glass screens.

    Hi DellBoy333,

Well, that's certainly a good thought. We have some devices, especially those laptops with glass Gorilla technologies incorporated on them like the Dell laptops, some computers laptops and tablets. Basically, the Gorilla glass idea is only limited to laptops, because it is these devices that people carry with them every day and they are more vulnerable to scratches because of travel and bad management, as appropriate.

Monitors on the other hand are devices that are not transferable and are subject to be held in a particular place and are often moved from one place to another. Gorilla glass technology can be used on monitors is always on a stage of development that they are not required. Secondly, if we put Gorilla glass on monitors their cost will be higher than that of a conventional monitor. If your idea is really good and we will pass it as a return to our product team. But now, the Gorilla glass is only limited to laptops.

Maybe sooner or later that we saw also on the monitors!

  • Distorted image when you use the images of Sony RX100M3 DNG Converter?

My PSE11 can't import my RAW images from my Sony RX100M3.

Instead of upgrading to PSE13, I converted an image using the DNG Converter.

I then compared the image converted with the original ARW file in ACDSee Mac Pro and they appeared in fact differently, it seems that the DNG file contains a larger visible area than the ARW file and when switching between the two, the picture changes in proportions seems distorted.

    Really weird!

When discussed briefly with MichelBParis in another discussion, he thought that "the reason is probably how the converter takes into account the profile of your target when the correction of distortion barrel or pad.

Anyone who knows why this is happening and what can be done to correct, if it is not? If ACDSee Pro Mac picture shows ARW incorrectly?

I will continue using the converter to change my images in PSE11 or will I go to PSE13 or the result will be the same in PSE13?

    Grateful for any input.

The Sony RX100M3 has integrated lens corrections that should use photoshop elements 11.

Have you tried to open the dng file in PES 11 Editor to see what it looks like in camera raw?

  • The screen of my watch has expanded to the point that is no longer legible. Why?

The screen of my watch has expanded and is no longer legible.

    Hi Warren

Zoom (an accessibility function) has been activated on your watch.

To return the contents of the screen to size normal, double click on the screen with two fingers.

Later, if you prefer to disable the Zoom:

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > general > accessibility > Zoom - put it off.
    • Or on your watch, go to: homescreen (via a simple press on the digital Crown) > (cog icon) settings > general > accessibility > Zoom - tap and enable / disable.

If the accessibility shortcut has been enabled and configured for the Zoom, you can also enable and disable functionality more conveniently:

    • On your watch: quickly press the digital Crown three times.

    To set up accessibility shortcuts:

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > accessibility > accessibility shortcut (bottom) > select / deselect Zoom.
