The EAR file size may be 1 KB?

I created an ADF application in Jdev10.1.3
for model project that I created file.le EAR causing the EAR is of size 1 KB.
I think that it's very small.
actually what is the size of the EAR file?

When I created the ejb jar (for model) r, war (for the view controller) for the same ADFapplication the size of the pot is 40 k, size of war is 6287 k. How could my EAR size 1 KB?
Is something wrong with me? or it's ok.

And I also have other doubt.if I create EAR for model in an application project, is that for the deployment of application.is all this EAR EAR will contain enough WAR
from my view as controller.
Please clarify my doubts.i appreciate your help.

I do not work with this version, but you should check the contributors. Access the projrct properties, select deployment and right-click on the deployment profile and edit it. Click help to get an overview of what each option means.

It's a bit like having images used as boilerplate in Oracle Forms. Whenever the form is refreshed or called, the standard text (and images) must be made. In comparison, the images cached display much more quickly and can be stored on the application server. For the treatment of the data, do the boring tasks on the server, not in the form (or model) itself. If your model has to read/load much of other submodels, same idea.

You must Transact in appearance compared to the features. So, it is true on the Web pages.

  • The Vmdk file size

    Hello.

I have an ESX 4.0.0 host and I created a new virtual machine on this subject, to install WIN 2003.

When configure the virtual disk, I put the 18 GB disk and selected size space Allocate and commit on request option (thin Provisioing).

The following steps are fine and smooth. The installation is good and VM can be saved on the local HARD disk. It could work like I want.

In the end, I logged in the ESX sever to check how the size of the VMDK file has been generated.

    Result as below.

    $ ls - lh

    total of 9.7 G

    -rw - 1 root root 1.0 G the 31 mai 10:43 vm - 17412363.vswp

    -rw - 1 root root 17G 31 May 17:51 vm1 - flat hard

    -rw - 1 root root 259 the 31 mai 10:40 vm.vmxf

    -rw - rr 1 root root 110 K 31 mai 17:18 vmware.log

I felt that it is fake!

Why is the total size of 9.7 GB but vm1 - flat hard file is 17 GB?

It's over the total size. It seems strange to... isn't it?

Then I was loggin to WIN2003 (vm) and make sure how the C drive size.

C drive has been total 16.9 and GB 8,44 available...

The C drive size is perhaps skirtss size. It is a good idea.

but WHY the total size is 9.7 GB? AND tell me the breakdown of this total size of the file.

    Can someone explain to me?

    Help me ~ ~ ~

    Thank you!

    Hello!

VM1 - flat hard is sparesefile and signals the total maximum size of the disk.

And 9.7 total disk space used, log + swap files.

  • Best settings for maximum quality with the smallest file size

I am generation PDFs from Indesgin. The InDesign document is a 24 page book for children, so the color work consits flat horizons that are made in Illustrator.

PDF files are approximately 13 MB. But if I'm running their thinking the optimizer based on CSSTidy in Acrobat I can get up to 9 MB without quality.

The only problem is that automatically generate these PDF files per day 100 automatically (it's a custom to produce via HP Smartstream book), so I can't open them every time in Acrobat format (unless there is a way to send it to Acrobat automatically after creation).

Is there a way I can reproduce the 'effects' Acrobat in InDesign settings panel when you create the PDF file?

My work is in EPS. I tried saving as a TIFF and before you import it into InDesign. Although TIFF files / HAVE individal are smaller that the EPS, the PDF output is the same size (sometimes more).

The only thing that reduces the size of the file within InDesign is passing the compression of images in color at 300 DPI to 150 dpi. But I find that if I go lower than that, the print quality suffers.

I was looking for conversion of PDF command line tools and eventually discovered this:

    https://www.PDF-Tools.com/PDF/PDF-Optimization-reduce-size-1.aspx

For me, it's much too expensive (US$ 570), but maybe it's a viable solution for you. He watched folder workflows, this is why it may be convenient for your application. You can download a demo and even test online (PDF file is watermark).

I submitted a file to their online test page and was impressed with the results: original PDF 1.5 MB format produces a 925 file (an "optimized" ot the same sample PDF file Acrobat turned _bigger_ then the original). What makes it even more impressive: in the online test I deselected ALL downsampling image settings, to force the PDF optimized to keep the quality of the original image and the resolution. Then, in Acrobat, I exported the images at the same time the original PDF and the optimized and compare in Photoshop. They were not the same, but the difference is practically imperceptible. I suppose that applying the downsampling to the test will result in even smaller PDF files, but I did not test this.

In any case... I have no affiliation with these guys, and I have neither the need nor the money to buy this product. I only share these thoughts because they can point you to other ways to find a solution. The above-mentioned application seems to be very effective. If you can afford it, I think it deserves a try. If this isn't the case, you can search the Web for plugins or other tools that can be adapted to you needs and budget. Acrobat/InDesign approaches are not the only way to go.

  • The html file size

    Hello

In dreamweaver how does one check the size of the file and the html file?

    Bob

Rik is quite right, but that number may be misleading because it does not include scripts, images, and other files of dependant who uses the page.  For example, a 6 KB html file could really be 419 KB when loading in browsers.

If you want a free analysis of the actual size / speed of your page, have a look at the link below.

  • Attempt to package a jar of shared library in the ear file. error wlappc

I try to deploy files jar like shared libraries and decided to follow the recommendation to wrap the pots inside the separate ear files. I include all the modules in the ear, because each of them is designed to be deployed as a shared library. Jar files are placed in the APP-INF/lib directory. The manifest file in the directory META-INF of the ear contains name information and the version of the extension that I would use for these pots. When I run wlappc in my build the wlappc generates an error. I ran weblogic. DDConverter on the ear and the same error was generated. See below. Apparently, the error is caused by the fact that I do not declare all modules in the application.xml file. I found several examples of how package libraries with the help of a war. Even looking at the files in the C:\bea10.3.3\wlserver_10.3\common\deployable-libraries . I found no examples using the Archives of the ear.

My question is how can I do this. I'd rather do not creation of dummy modules. The documentation seems unclear to me in this area. I would really appreciate the help on this ASAP.

    I use Weblogic Server 10.3.3

You must create at least a model Module...
Because the Standard EAR file must contain at least one valid... WAR... EJB jar... .or an ordinary Java Module.

    Please rerfer to: http://weblogic-wonders.com/weblogic/2010/06/22/how-to-build-ear-application-for-weblogic/
Your Exception clearly said... There is no present valid Module in your "application.xml" file which is the root cause of this issue.

NOTE: Still, if you do not want to create a Module inside your Application of EAR... then you can go ahead with the optional Packages. Optional packages also provides the same functionality as shared libraries... In this fit you can deploy a Plain Jar file on the server as an optional package, and other Applications can make reference to it. Like this: http://weblogic-wonders.com/weblogic/2009/12/06/optional-packages/

To see an example of it, you can do refers to: http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=4439423 during the last answer of mine I have Pasted a link to Test case that I've developed for demonstration... http://www.4shared.com/file/aaudoKO-/Hibernate_Shared_Lib_Demo.html (around of-2, 1 MB size)
