  I understand 1521 is the default listening port. I have a server (prodsrv2) remote where the oracle client is installed and the plug sockets in the ORCL base that runs in prodsrv1. Is this average tnsnames.ora on prodsrv2 must have 1521 as the only listed port while communicating to the ORCL database?

  If the scan is set up then you do a connectivity with listener to scan, you can check the scan as a listening port

• The TCP Listen.vi doesn't seem to detect reliably all the elements on the network.

  I use a network dedicated to four devices. When I run the TCP Listen.vi it does not always detect all four of the devices. Sometimes, he gets all of them and in the worst case, a single device.  The question I have is to detect if it's the vi or if there is that something screwed up with the network, or with devices.  I bet on the devices, but the development engineers always tell me it perfect stuff. From time to time, I have a hard time to believe for some reason any.

  Someone has ideas how to analyze where is the problem?  I am a newbie with TCP stupid mistakes are not only possible, but likely.

  I think you have already revealed the possible source of the problem. I think that I do not use this thing correctly based on your information.  I'll go back and rewrite things and see where I get.  And thanks for the tip of Wireshark. Never heard before.

  you don't know. If it's a good thing to do is another question.
  You can use an inboxlistener to receive an email or even a text message with a command to start the pushlistener. But why you want to do something like that? listening on a port, there's nothing that drains the battery.

  the listener ANALYSIS belongs to GI home. No other option, also the default listener must be run from GI House (otherwise you will have trouble connecting with ASM).

  It is advisable to stay with these listeners and record all the databases/services with them. It is (should be?) without having to create additional listeners.
  If you need more listener, it is advisable to create also in GI. Then advised is to stay with IG.

  But so much for best practices... I saw Oracle user create additional listeners in the houses of the DB, and this will definitely work and isn't possible. However not best practice ;)

  I am using Captivate 5 on XP.

  A question on the slides of question and the navigation between them.

  I have a slide menu with 6 chapters. Each of the chapters contain 3-4 slides. After each chapter, I have a question slide by a simple question about the chapter the user just visited.

  What I would like is that if the user answers correctly, he returned to the menu slide. If he or she responds badly, I would go to a saying to slide something like 'you answered incorrectly' and then go at the beginning of the same chapter. It would be even better if the user got another question when it will return to the issue once again.

  Then the same for the rest of the chapters. I already had a final quiz at the end, but I think that in this way with any questions after each chapter will be easier to use.

  Is it possible to orient the user based on the correct/incorrect answer to a question slide?

  What are the parameters of the Quiz? More specific: option then required. By resetting the failure levels, you now have a caption incorrect, right?

  And the quiz carried at least the menu slide, by inserting a button or click box, as Rod suggested at the beginning?

  BTW, if these questions are as simple as that (you may just created a sample) and one per chapter, I would have created question slides myself, not used the default question slides. This way you have full control and no mind as to the scope of quiz.

  All the drivers for the laptop Toshiba EU models are available on the page of the Toshiba UE driver.
  If win 8 isn't supported on your laptop, this driver isn't available.

  But to my knowledge, these keys were controlled by Toshiba Value Package added (for Win Vista and Win 7).
  VAP isn t available for 8 Win / Win 8.1 more and has been replaced by the system of Toshiba driver.

  Perhaps you could install such system of Toshiba laptop driver that was released for other mobile phones latest models it of certainly worth a try

  Dig into the Sub - VI you are right in saying that the Options available to the user input is not connected to anything for most cases. However, in the case of failure to "Quick Print" Layout Options are used to change the layout of the report. In help for this VI, he mentions that this entry is ignored for the report "Standard reports" and "HTML" options However, it does mention that this ignorance of Layout Options is expected for the 'word' or 'Excel' reports.
