all my photos are in JPEG format, I download my photos on several websites and on my Windows live.com page, I also see with Windows Live Photo Gallery, I use Adobe Photoshop 7 to edit and save my pictures in .jpeg format, I can visualize in Picasa, PhotoStudio, ZoomBrowers EX etc.. I can spend my photos to one of my other computers and my pictures by e-mail, and they can be consulted. I open one of my photos in Photoshop and saved in a folder on my desktop in .jpeg and .bmp and it does not display. I sort my folder in date and make sure that hidden files is checked. I know I'm missing something, but still nothing.
Hello
Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!
How long have you had this problem? All files compatible photo in your library in Windows will appear in Media Center, including whatever it is stored in the folder my pictures or public photo. If you store images somewhere else, like an external hard drive, you can add them to the Media Center as well. To learn how, see Add files to media in Windows Media Center.
The following is a list of reasons why an image will not display in Media Center, as well as suggestions for correcting the problem.
The picture file type is not supported in Media Center. For example, some digital camera photos are saved in the RAW file format, which is not supported in Media Center. If you have a photo editing software, try to open the picture in that program, and then resaving in a file type that is supported (for example, JPEG). To see what types of files are supported in Media Center, see file types supported by Windows Media Center.
The file is corrupted. If this is the case, try to open the image in another photo editing program, and then save it back into a different file type. For more information on the damaged files, see the files corrupted: frequently asked questions.
The file is hidden. You can view a hidden file by changing its properties in Windows. For more information, see Show hidden files.

Why Windows Media Center does not display tile of Internet TV?
Does not accept downloads
Hello, Packard37
You are in the US, UK or elsewhere?
Internet TV is available only in the United States and the United Kingdom - assuming that you are located in the United States / UK:
Check your region settings in Windows. Go to start > Control Panel > clock, language and region > region and language. On the location tab, make sure that the country is selected in the administration tab, make sure that the language is also correct as well, otherwise click the settings change system locale.
Go to start, all programs, accessories, click with the right button on command prompt and choose Run as administrator. At the command prompt, run the following command and press ENTER: start/wait %windir%\ehome\mcupdate - uf-nogc
After you run this command, open Media Center and check if it is available, otherwise, you may need to reset the Media Center, note that this operation removes all custom settings and you will need to re-run the installation again:
Open the command prompt, as described above once again and then type the following command and press ENTER: MediaCenterRecoveryTask - %SystemRoot%\ehome\mcupdate.exe
One time only complete, open Media Center and run through the configuration. If you do not immediately see the Internet TV, let Media Center open for about 5-10 minutes, then restart and check if it is available or not.

You say "my computer XP and Vista" are this one computer dual boot with XP and Vista, or is - the two computers 'single '?
If it happened "yesterday" did you updated anything or whatever installed?
Having only happened yesterday have you tried a "System Restore" to see if this corrects the problem?
What TV card are you using and have you verified that this works correctly?
If you get not a photo is the antenna in place properly?
Do you get any error messages? More information, you can provide more someone will be able to help John Barnett MVP: Associate Expert Windows XP: Windows Desktop Experience: Web: http://www.winuser.co.uk ; Web: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org ; Web: http://vistasupport.mvps.org ;

Windows Media Center does not record the calendar.
Planning to record a program, but sometimes lapsed time up to the point where it does not record. I am running Windows 7 Home. Yes, I checked preferences but which differs only up to 15 minutes max. I have reinstalled twice already. Why please?
Hello
(1) did you make any changes before the show?
(2) what is the brand and model of the computer?
Windows Media Center records the first home run HD programs or any which TV tuner installed. However, you may need to follow a few rules.
-If you turn off your computer, Windows Media Center does not have a regular program. The computer must be turned on or "standby mode" to record a television show. The computer will not automatically in standby mode if Windows Media Center is open.
-Make sure that you turn off the screen and lower or turn off the sound if you have one at the request of a record in the middle of the night and don't want to be disturbed.-Your scheduled recording may not save in the following situation: schedule you a recording in Windows Media Center to start in less than ten minutes, close Windows Media Center and put your computer into standby or hibernation mode immediately. Use or one of the following options to save your record programmed:
a. do not close Windows Media Center before you put your computer on standby or hibernation.
b. after having programmed a recording, wait a minute before you put the computer in standby or hibernation.I would have you refer to the article below:
Why my TV did not show record in Windows Media Center?

Here's what you need to configure Internet TV on your computer:

· Complete the installation of Windows Media Center.
· Wait a few minutes for an automatic download complete.
If you do not see these items of menu in a few minutes after the installation, go to:

My 'Windows Media Center' does not detect the signal Uverse

Windows Media Player does not display of MicroSD songs album art
Summer love the Surface Pro offer functions since I got the 9 February, but lately, I've been a few software/hardware problems here and there. One of these issues is with Windows 8 itself. Go to a 500 GB SSHD in my old laptop with a 128 GB SSD in the Surface Pro forced me to move no delicate libraries or all the files on a 64 GB MicroSD card; No delicate part of these things is my music/iTunes library.
After that, I then open Windows Media Player and noticed that it lacked all the artworks of my music organized itunes album in library view. Thinking it was just Windows Media Player still missing support for .m4a files (even if the file Explorer supports them clearly), I tried to add the album art, and it made no difference. Then it crossed my mind that maybe its Windows Media Player that does not support display cover from a disk full out of the primary. So I have moved the library to its default location, open Windows Media Player and it shows ALL of my music organized itunes album artwork.Move back to the new MicroSD is back to square 1; Windows Media Player is not display Album art. All geek/hacker knows a fix for this? I am confident in the modification of ANY part of the file system on my computer, including the registry. Thanks in advance. This looks like a problem of indexing. Windows just indexes not removable media by default particularly well. http://digitalmediaphile.com/index.php/2012/11/02/how-to-use-Windows-8-RT-apps-libraries-and-removable-media/ might help.

Windows Media Center does not seem to recognize that I'm in the United Kingdom.
I could not the skyplayer appears, and now I'm trying to get a video MSN to work but alas... No...
Go into settings and download of updates does nothing.
I went in the TV section and downloaded the settings of 5 MB, but it says the guide is not available and the icons are always for shows in the United States.
I remember when I tried to get the skyplayer to work, I got as far as the discovery that this Media Center wouldn't recognize my location.
There is some information herein, that will be helpful in your case is another question?
