  I have little problem. I was downloaded from your website 2.1 BIOS for Toshiba Satellite L750D (PSK32E).

  I have been updating BIOS 2.1 and start the problem with the sound. When I start the game, music or else minutes 2 first sound plays correctly but then it stops without reason. No noise at all. I've been reinstalled op system but the problem is still there.

  I just got a laptop, Toshiba Satellite Pro 4270... I installed win 98 on it and it works beautifully.

  But then I added LAN PCMCIA card in computer and wanted to do some sufring. I encountered a problem.

  I guess it is Win 98 Second Edition You are using on the 4270.
  Please go to driver download site and download the INF-update to the PC Card controller. I think this should solve your problem.

  While you are at it download the other drivers you need more.

  I have a P30 which is about 2-3 years and since then 2-3 months was cut without warning. Thinking it was an overheating issue. I took it to the whingers who cleaned the vents etc. which seem to have a limited effect, but it was OK for a while.

  There are 2 weeks, it shut down and since then I can't restart like there is no power to the computer. I had checked wires and they are ok and it was suggested that the motherboard may have "gone" bearing in mind that is the cost of a new computer £800.

  Can anyone suggest if I can get a new / used m/Board, P30 used (to transfer the hard drive) or other options? Expect the worst but good I live in hope!

• Need help with WRT54G2 and network at home

  OK, I got the WRT54G for a long time and recently updated for the WRT54G2 but now can't access the file sharing and running Windows Vista from Windows XP using wireless.

  Here is my set upward,

  Desktop running Windows Vista connected to the router (that's the computer with folders and printers)

  2 - Windows XP laptop computer connected wireless

  All 3 are defined on the same workgroup can be seen on Windows XP machine when you go to, favorite network, also all can get on the internet.

  Any ideas what the problem might be? I'm guessing a setting somewhere but I was not able to find it.

  I recently bought a L850 Pro of the Satellite with Windows operating system.
  When using the Synaptics Touchpad button the cursor tends to cling randomly on the screen and sometimes disappears completely.

  Sometimes, the ToolTip displays a small rectangle, cut in half horizontally with a small arrowhead in each half.
  The cursor still sticks when this rectangle is present but the rectangle is not always present when the cursor sticks, I was not able to identify the purpose of this rectangle.

  Other problems such as scroll bars moving independently etc. are probably related to the main problem which, if solved, hopefully cure all. I have not found all parameters in the control panel to fix the problem.

  It is not easy to give you an accurate diagnosis, but in my opinion your laptop isn't hot because of the energy savings. Satellite P30 is pretty old laptop and maybe you should clean your laptop.

  Have you done this before?

  This error seems to be serious and what you can do is to remove the preinstalled energy saver and after restarting try installing it again.

  Just FYI: Watch tool is very useful, but certainly not so important and your system can function very well without it. Because of this, I presume that portable hot is because of dust inside. With more CPU and activity hardware graphics card will be hot and must be cooled properly. If the cooling rack does not clean this cannot happen. Initially, notebook will be hot, but one day she is probably turned off without any warning.
