  Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system
  (as applicable) for known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates to help the battery
  problems.

  Control Panel control - plan change Options - power plans - power - advanced settings
  Parameters for the drainage and the use of parameters (this is how much to use and not how much or how)

• Cannot change the expression - read-only

  I have a problem as some of the steps in my sequence of the expression has become read-only. This has happened on and off the power for awhile on several machines, the job is to create a new step copy the expression and remove the old stage. I did once see a message something is set to 'read only', but I couldn't find where to disable it.

  I can always change to another part of the stage, in the properties-> Expressions pre and status windows are white and I can change them, the expression post window is gray and cannot be changed. The expression tab is the same, gray and read-only.

  TestStand 2012, that step is now a function f (x), don't know if it's always the case.

  I searched here and find only very old posts that sugest that the problem is solved in 2012.

  The compilation happens to step "using the unit felt" but then stops soon after with a compilation error.

  It seems that the track is essentially optimized away, but the compiler, Xilinx has a problem with the flag being present on the sub - VI but the idnicator is not used anywhere.  As a result, the cost gets set to an invalid value.  I guess close to reinterpret it FXP at the exit of the Subvi is an important aspect of this problem.

  I think I know enough now to fix this (remove the path manually by duplicating the sub - vi), but it may be useful for future bug fixes feedback in the FPGA module.  It is not the first time that this kind of removal of incorrect code me has given problems, but this is the first time I could clearly identify the problem.

  Looks like someone filed a bug report on it a month or two ago. It's the CAR # 475397 if you want to check for it in the list bug fixed for 2014 SP1.

  You can try the following steps.

  No need for any ZIP code at the moment, as I suspect the issue here is the lack of focusable fields.  Default LabelField is not active.  This can restrict scrolling especially on non touchscreen devices.  This isn't an OS related issue, but touch no touch verses.

  Two suggestions before the validation code:

  (a) to make active the LabelField

  (b) add a NullField after the LabelField
