  My Logitch wireless gamepad F710 does not work laptop with my HP Pavilion dv6-6017tx PC Xinput mode (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit). But it works very well in mode Dinput.   I installed the driver for the controller XBOX 360 for Windows on microsoft's site and installed. Then plugged the device and select the driver manually installation option and wanted Xbox 360 controller for windows driver in the list. Now my controller F710 currently also works well in mode Xinput and Dinput.

  One way is you can export to a SWF file and import this object - to preserve the effects.  You must resize the SWF, although (just set the de.width/.height properties when you include it in your code and you're missing).

  Other than that, we try to avoid any effect fantasy and, if needed, build on the assets when they are created.

  Another big that we have noticed, is that "Pass through" of PhotoShop is not the same as the use of the alpha channel in Flash/AS3 - or at least, it does not give the same visible effect.  (I think the OP was on Illustrator, but I'd bet there are similar problems with effects from other applications).

  Sorry I can't be of assistance much more :-/

  Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.
