The HP Envy 17 line t there 2-Bay SATA or SATA 1 and mSATA?

The line has Envy 17 t 2 drive bays?  If so, is it 2-Bay SATA or 1 SATA and 1 mSATA? In addition, on the hardware selection screen:

If I choose this option, you guys at HP will install Windows on the SSD, instead of on the hard drive?  I found 256GB SSD which is much cheaper than $295, but I searched and found that HP has apparently put a restriction on the BIOS that prevents you from booting from an internal hard drive that you have added.

EDIT: Maybe I could also get the 256 GB SSD and add my own hard drive.  But I still need to know if she has 2 SATA or 1 SATA and 1 mSATA.

Well, when I said page #2, I meant Page 2. Now, at least you have read a book.

See you soon.

Now, we don't need to be mean to them, I don't think that the HP Forums are the big giant HP Experts incredible tiny bit intimidation of people asking for help.  I'll just buy the HP Envy 17 Laptop Touch t and see what type of port it has for me. Next time I will ask these questions on NotebookCheck.

  • The HP Envy 17 laptop Quad t allows the base to extend HP xb3000 (docking station)?

    I got a HP Pavilion dv9000 for about 7 years and use it at home with the HP xb3000 expansion base that has USB connections as well as the Altec Lansing speakers like the laptop.  A connector on the base of extension plugs into the connector on the expansion of the Port 3 on the Pavilion dv9000 and it has always worked very well. It allows additional hard disks must be installed in the base of the expansion, but I have not used this option.

    I recently bought a HP Envy 17 quad t laptop with Beats Audio speakers.  It doesn't have a connector of the expansion Port 3, so I was wondering if there is any type of connector/adapter allowing the HP xb3000 expansion base be connected to and used with the HP Envy 17 T.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Thank you and have a great day!

    Hello

    Envy has no expansion port so the base is useless in your case. A few other products that use the USB port would be useful.

  • Transform the data in the column marked in lines

    I've already implemented Tom Kytes solution for dynamic / variant in the list that is found here and on his own works very well when passing a variable.  I'm trying to use it to decode several rows in a table.  Each row has a column of delimited data and I want to turn these data delimited by lines.

    Here is the configuration.

    create table data_source

    (upload_id number not null,

    data_source_id integer not null,

    sources varchar2 (50).

    ERROR_MESSAGE varchar2 (100)

    );

    insert into data_source (upload_id, data_source_id, sources) values (1, 1, 'a');

    insert into data_source (upload_id, data_source_id, sources) values (1,2, 'A:B:C:X');

    insert into data_source (upload_id, data_source_id, sources) values (1, 3, 'c');

    insert into data_source (upload_id, data_source_id, sources) values (1, 4, 'B');

    insert into data_source (upload_id, data_source_id, sources) values (1.5, 'Y');

    create the table data_source_lookup

    (varchar2 (10) sources non-null)

    ;

    insert into data_source_lookup (sources) values('A');

    insert into data_source_lookup (sources) values('B');

    insert into data_source_lookup (sources) values('C');

    My goal is to update the table data_source for lines where there is an invalid data source, in the example above that would be 2 and 5 lines.  I can do this individually using the in_list solution:

    Select * from table (in_list ('A:B:C:X',' :'))))

    If column_value not in (select data_source_lookup sources)

    Returns 'X' as expected.

    What I am struggling with is a method to make it through all the lines for a given loading ID:

    Update data_source

    ERROR_MESSAGE = "Source of data" is not a valid value

    where upload_id = 1 and...

    I tried to create a join cross- like this:

    Select ds.data_source_id, ds.sources, x.column_value

    DS data_source cross join (select column_value in the table (in_list (ds.sources,' :'))) x)))

    but as you can imagine passing in the function ds.sources has failed, returning "ORA-00904:"DS".» "SOURCES": invalid identifier.

    I'm sure I can solve this problem in a loop, but that seems inefficient.  Anyone know of a method by which I can pass the content of the column to the table function (in_list ()) for each line?

    For someone else it may call a function table in several lines, here's what I came with.  First of all, I changed my data to test a bit to add some very incorrect values.

    setting a day from sources set data_source = 'A:B:C:X:Y' where data_source_id = 1;

    This query will not return a list of lines that contain invalid values, including their wrong value:

    Select the rowid, sources, column_value

    de)

    Select the rowid, data_source sources)

    x cross table junction (utils.in_list (x.sources,' :'))))

    where column_value is not null

    and not exists (select null from data_source_lookup l where l.sources = column_value)

    AABk3MAAjAAAKd8AAA A:B:C:X:Y X

    AABk3MAAjAAAKd8AAA A:B:C:X:Y Y

    AABk3MAAjAAAKd8AAB A:B:C:X X

    AABk3MAAjAAAKd8AAE Y Y

    With this work, I can then modify cela a little bit to turn it back in a delimited list bad values that I can put in the error column.

    Update data_source x 2

    ERROR_MESSAGE = value

    (by selecting bad_value in)

    Select RID, "Invalid Data Source - ' |" listagg(column_value,':') within the Group (column_value control) bad_value

    de)

    Select the rowid RID, data_source sources)

    x cross table junction (utils.in_list (x.sources,' :'))))

    where column_value is not null

    and not exists (select null from data_source_lookup l where l.sources = column_value)

    (Group of RID) where rid = x 2 .rowid)

    where x 2 .upload_id = 1

    and x2.rowid in (select RID)

    de)

    Select the rowid RID, data_source sources)

    x cross table junction (utils.in_list (x.sources,' :'))))

    where column_value is not null

    and not exists (select null from data_source_lookup l where l.sources = column_value))

    ;

    It works well, and I find myself with:

    Error sources

    Source of invalid data in A:B:C:X:Y - x: y

    Invalid Data Source - X A:B:C:X

    C

    B

    Valid source of data Y - Y

  • Is there a way to change the path, selectors, curved lines color

    Hello

    I do track of photo in photoshop using the pen tool. The lines, they are grey. Part of the picture is gray. This makes it a little hard to see adjustments when you use the points of direction to adjust the curves. Is there a way to change their color? I work in a work path in the path box.

    The colorful paths have been requested several times. I remember well, maybe wrong, but I think remember me Adobe, emphasizing the fact that the paths can be any color except gray because of something beyond the control of Adobe. Is it not strange that own Adobe Illustrator (and the apps by other companies) allow the user to specify the colors of the paths. Also note that Photoshop allows the user to choose colors for guides, smart guides, and slices.

    The source in the LabWindows/CVI environment Editor is built according to the concept of the virtual space.

  • The HP ENVY 17-j120us there sata iii?

    I think to put the HP ENVY 17-j120us and could not find if it is SATA-III or not, and if it comes with a quad core. I read that some lower Core i7 comes with core duo.

    On another note. My HP EliteBook 8730w is SATA-II and I use an Intel SSD 520, which is capable of SATA III, someone knows it if I can wipe my SSD, then paste it into the new laptop and have it clocked at SATA-III? Is it that simple? Note also that I have the system of operating full W7, so no problem on this end.

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  • How to get spell checking to verify the entries of individual line?

    I recently had to create a new profile to resolve a problem with my old FF. But now the new profile, being new, do not check the spelling of the single line entries (as in the ' question' above.) But don't the input areas of text to spell check (like the one I'm typing right now).

    I know that there is a topic: changing the setting of configuration to get there, but I can't find it documented anywhere. Is there a topic: document config? Omitting can someone tell me what changes I need to do?

    layout.spellcheckDefault; 1

    Unofficial MozillaZine site has great documentation on many preferences in about: config. For this one:

    http://KB.mozillazine.org/layout.spellcheckDefault

    So it should work:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste SPEL and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the layout.spellcheckDefault preference and change 1-2 spell check single-line controls as well as controls the multiline.

    Note: This should turn the spell checking on by default, but sites can always turn off.

    For the HP ENVY 17 - k000 Notebook PC model, there is No second Bay of disc - hard

    Your model is customized model ("17 t-k000 CTO") this series of basic model, it will not be a secondary HARD drive Bay.

    To confirm, you will need to open & see-

    To get into the HARD drive, you have to-remove the battery, the optical drive, rear corner covers, hood & USB card.

  • install the hp envy 4500

    I have a new HP Envy 4500. I installed it and on a laptop with Windows 7, everything works as it should. I'm now trying to connect another laptop running Windows 8.

    I go through the steps, following the instructions on the supplied CD. When I get to "enable - continue we Line" I get a message saying "check internet connection and try again.»

    The laptop is connected to the internet.

    Any suggestions on how to complete the installation?

    Hi KiteFlyer,

    I see that you have any questions, fill out the installation for your craving for 4500 on your computer Windows 8. I'm sorry to hear that, but I will certainly do my best to help out

    When the installation gets to that point, and gives you the error, you are able to open Internet Explorer and navigate to a Web site and click on a link?
    If your laptop is wireless you are able to connect directly to the router/modem during installation to ensure it does not lose connection or something like that?
    How far are you from the printer and the router when you run the installation?

    You can try to use the HP printer installation wizard to install the printer as well and see if it uses different results.

    I hope hear from you soon!

  • Insert a default line where there is no data

    Hi using Oracle 10 g, I stuck a simple simulation below... Good, then you don't want to INSERT new data into a table. you just want to a new row in the result set.

    It would be helpful if you posted some examples of data for tbl_test1 who had a couple of prod_ids different and different prices.

    You want all prod_id in tbl_test1 combined with all the provinces of the tbl_prov?

    If so, you can use an outer join partitioned, like this:

    SELECT t.prod_id

    p.prov

    , COALESCE (t.price, 0) IN the price

    OF tbl_prov p

    LEFT OUTER JOIN tbl_test1 t PARTITION BY (t.prod_id)

    ON t.province = p.prov

    ORDER BY prod_id

    Prov.

    ;

    Why did you use COALESCE to the provinces, but prices NVL?  If you like COALESCE, as it would be infinitely faster, wouldn't it faster in both places?  If you like NVL because it is easier to code, it will be easier to code in both places?

    In this case, you have no need either for the province, assuming that tbl_prov is never NULL (and even if this is the case, it will never reach the join condition).

    Almost no one is never using RIGHT OUTER JOIN, because the same results are always possible with LEFT OUTER JOIN.  Partitioned outer joins operate in the same way that you use the LEFT or RIGHT.  It's as if you did a separate outer join for each value of the partitioning column, and and made a UNION ALL operation to combine all separate them the results.
