  After a recent update, I seemed to lose my IE icon anywhere on the computer - I couldn't find iexplore.exe when you're looking for all of the C: drive, and the icon has disappeared from the start menu.

  I managed to install a Microsoft IE links and the software works very well.  However, when pinning the IE icon to the start menu, I just got a regular icon - I don't have the right arrow to go directly to a recent site / or InPrivate browsing etc.

  I would ask to try the steps mentioned below, which will help you to get the start of the page you are looking for.

  1. Demarrer start on the desktop, press Windows key + R using the keyboard to bring up the run window.
  2. Type "Inetcpl.cpl ' in the run window to open Internet Explorer the window options." "
  3. In Windows Internet Explorer options, click the option "use new tab '
  4. Now click apply and then OK.

  I'm having a problem with my desktop icons.  The first time, I use a desktop icon to enter a site when I first you register my lap top everything works but when I close the site and try to open another icon on my desktop, icons no longer highlight or open.  This just started today.  Ran a comprehensive analysis with Norton 360, but he found nothing.   This problem is usually due to using a different web browser as a web browser by default. I suggest to set Internet Explorer as your web browser default and check if it works for you.

• My screen has disappeared and I can't get it back

  I posted this problem last week, but I don't I not explained properly. While on Firefox, the page disappeared suddenly, and all I get is a picture of the page when I mouse over the icon in the taskbar. By clicking on the photo is not restore the page. If I click on the icon itself, the page seems to fly out of my screen and fly when I click again, but it will not restore full screen. I can't access the links or buttons because I don't quite have a web page, and I can not reset Firefox for the same reason. Is that what I can do to solve this problem without actually using a web page?

  On your home screen to Options > device > application > locate and remove BlackBerry World from there. After deleting to do a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery wait a min. then reinsert back.

  After rebooting your BlackBerry browser browse www.blackberry.com/appworld to download the recent version of BlackBerry World.

  My microphone used to work perfectly. Then one day I had a new microphone and tried to make a Skype call. Nothing - I couldn't hear my voice.   I'm really late to this topic, but had the same problem and found in a search.

  The solution works, but it is not the simplest solution, so I thought I have add my findings.

  If you go to control panel, sounds open, click the recording tab and don't see any devices listed (or it says no device installed), just do a right click somewhere in the box and choose "show disabled devices".  Your disabled devices will be visible and you can simply select the microphone and turn it back on.  Uninstall the audio driver and updates will work, but it is so much more time.
