The images appear horizontally stretched on wide screens

I am facing a problem where the pictures are horizontally stretched on wide screens. Is it possible to make them appear correctly on all screen resolutions? as the detection of the resolution of the monitor of the user and apply a script or something.

If it is stretched, one of two things happens.

1. the monitors are not configured correctly.

2 and by far the most likely, who created the design did a screen which was not established to the appropriate resolution. It may have sounded good on this machine, but it will look horrible on each other.

Edit: If you are the one creating the graphics, make sure that your monitor is set to its native resolution.

This happens usually when the image resolution is high.

Keep your screen resolution of 1024 x 768 and it should work fine.

Most likely, LR has problems talking to your video card.

In the Preferences dialog box, tab Performance, disable the use of the GPU.

OK - I got out my trusty Photoshop Elements 10 - The Missing Manual and figured it out. What I was trying to describe, it was how to make images with 'tab' images 'floating '? This has somehow reset without my knowledge. What you need to do to get your images 'Floating' back is to click on "EDIT" in your editor - at the bottom of the drop-down list hover your cursor to "GÉNÉRAL" and click on - at the bottom of the drop-down list, click in the bottom left box 'ALLOW FLOATING DOCUMENTS IN FULL EDIT MODE' - and then click OK.

That solved my problem!

• The images appear when printing that are not on the screen

Sorry if this has already been covered - I can't find an answer with any of my research...

I use Indesign CS3 in a Vista environment.

I created a document in CS3 that contains images tiff, jpeg and pdf placed in it.

Everything looks fine on the screen, but when I print a test in black and white on my HP laserjet pages contain an image where a 'ghost' of the image above it on the page is printed on it.

"Ghost" images are always compensated by about 1/3 - 1 / 2 of the picture, they are printing on and disappear if I move the image of the 'ghost' comes off on the side.

The "ghost" does not appear on pages where there is one picture above the other, does not seem to be limited to some combination of file types.

It is not on the page outside a rectangle areas encompassing.

I've tried mucking around with some print settings, but my knowledge is a bit limited in this area.

This happens if I print all right out of InDesign or if I export the document as a pdf and print from that.

I've never had this problem before using previous incarnations of this software and you want to go coloring print until I know if this might just be an artifact of the test B + W printing process, or if it's something else.

Thanks for your help.

Mingstru.

First the good news. It's not your software, everything works fine.

Now, the bad news; It's the printer... the easiest way to make sure is to print it on a different printer. The fact that you barely notice it's probably because your pinter gets older, or need some replacement of consumables.

As to how to solve this problem there are not that many, you can do it, you might try to print either way up, according to your location of the image, it would be not so sensitive.

• How to get the image appears?

Hi have a problem to report a MXML component an arry in my main MXML application

I don't understand why I get this error when it refers to a table in my main application.

What I did: I've created a table in my main application where I am referring to a couple of images

< mx:Array id = "picArray" >
< mx:Object
thumbnailImage = "assets/DSC_1904_thumb.jpg"
fullImage = "assets/DSC_1904.JPG" / >
< / mx:Array >

later in the code I'm filling in the field of the icon of a horizontal list with the 'thumbnailImage' specified in the 'picArray.

< mx:HorizontalList id = "picList".
iconField = 'thumbnailImage '.
Click = "showImage (Event)" "
dataProvider = "{picArray}.
itemRenderer = "CustomItemRenderer."
columnCount = "4".
columnWidth = "210".
number of lines = "1".
rowHeight = "120".
horizontalScrollPolicy = 'on' width = '863' / >

The photos appear in the list, and when I click on a PopUp is created to see the enlarged image. However, the PopUp does not show the "fullImage". It is at this time there no error message when I want to talk about the MXML of the TitleWindow component the "picList" in the main application in this way:

< mx:Image id = source="@picList.selectedItem.fullImage"/ "popImage" >

How can I get my picture to show?

Dear Thomas

Hello

You need to make 2 changes to get this working:

#1: ViewWindow.mxml

showCloseButton http://www.adobe.com/2006/MXML"creationComplete =" init () ' = 'true' "
Close = "PopUpManager.removePopUp (this)" width = "640" height = "480" title = "Impressions of the North Station" > "

Import mx.managers.PopUpManager;

[Bindable]
public var imgPath:String;

private function init (): void
{
PopUpManager.centerPopUp (this);
}
]]>

#2: Main.mxml

public void showImage(e:MouseEvent):void
{
var viewWindow:ViewWindow is PopUpManager.createPopUp (this, ViewWindow, false) as ViewWindow.;
If (viewWindow)
{
viewWindow.imgPath = picList.selectedItem.fullImage;
}
}

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Once you start a download must be completed or throws an Exception. I've never seen a communication process so nothing else.

But you say:

"in the console, it displays as started, but it is not downloaded.

I suspect that your treatment is throw an exception. Have you checked this while debugging?

To answer your question later, yes there are limits of size of the files that can be downloaded. The limit depends on the circumstances, but can be as low as 128 KB. Of course, a picture of 128 KB is big enough, probably too large to display in a ListField.

I think it should be clear that it is much more effective to send a picture about the right size for the BlackBerry. That way you'll spend less time of transmission and, if you want to scale on the BlackBerry, the scale is much faster.

• I did my own art of header for the toolbar and the dimensions and size of the file are correct, but the image appears badly in the area. Why?

I used photoshop to make my theme header with 3000 pixels wide and 200 from the top. In addition, the file is less than 300 KB. But after that I downloaded it, the picture in these dimensions is amplified. I do not get the image I had intended. Why is this? See picture attached example.

The support module is here: https://discourse.mozilla-community.org/c/add-ons

Looks like this monitor is like 1750 pixels wide, give or take.

The width of the whole image will not be displayed unless you have a display of 3000 pixels wide, and it is " pinned with the upper right of the image. Only, as a large part of the width will be shown that there is the width to display the image.

• The PA3508E-1PRP Port Replicator supports wide screen resolutions?

Hi all

I think to buy a Tecra M9 - 14 FT 7800 (with the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 130 M - 128 MB graphics card) - will, in combination with the Replicator to ports Express PA3508E-1PRP let me fully to use an external monitor with a resolution widescreen native 1680 x 1050 over DVI?

Thanks in advance,

Ben.

Hello Ben

Unfortunately I can't give you the exact answer, but I'm a bit skeptical about it. As much as I know Port Replicatior has no influence on the signal because the signal from the laptop will just looped through. The question is what resolutions on external screen will be supported by the graphics card for s laptop.

IN the document s user Tecra M9 manuals I found track information: as the operation of the port of all monitors DVI (Digital Video Interface) could not be confirmed, some matte DVI monitors will not work correctly.

In any case, as far as I know as Tecra M9 comes with Intel 965 GM graphics card and we're working on how to get the resolution widescreen 1680 x 1050 on external display.

If you need help with this please write again.

Good bye
