the imported videos section now show on first

Screen Shot 2014-04-29 at 5.15.04 PM.png

As you can see above, I can't see the section on the CS6 where imported videos.  I looked online to find the problem and couldn't.  I guess even a some quick shortcut key would solve that problem, but I was not able to find a solution...

  • Imported video does not show what moving published file swf to another location

I wonder if there is something I need to do for the video file imported to embed in the swf file. When I move the file published to another location, the video does not show. When it is played in the same location as the fact that publication, he plays very well. When I move the video file to the same location as the swf file that is published on another computer, it does not seem to see it. I don't know how to solve this problem. Looking for suggestions. Thank you!

Got it, thanks again! I actually got to work by converting the mov to flv and video integration.

  • the imported catalog files now can not see images

I hope that I'm not completely kidding upward. I was looking for information on a bunch of missing photos metatag and I clicked on one of the files of pictures > Lightroom files on my hard drive. Now when I open LR all I see are a bunch of empty frames (with icons of exposure but setting no image). How to get back to where I was before I clicked on this issue? I have use the importation of LR, just clicked on the file on my hard drive.

    Irene

It is not so easy to help you if you don't answer the questions more precisely.

If you accidentally open a backup catalog, then all previes should still show but you miss your imports and changes since the last backup. Make sure you use the correct catalog, more up-to-date.

General rule: do all file/folder changes in LR not in Explorer.

  • The imported video is blurred... What do I do?

Hello, I am new to Premiere Elements and this forum. I am a novice at all this.

I'm using first Elements 8 and reading in the monitor is not clear enough to make editing easy. I stop when it well, it is perfectly clear. Please help on what I should do. I played a bit with the presets, but what I found to fit well with the details below and the less fuzzy NTSC-AVCHD-HD1080i 30.

    Here are the details,

Video source: Canon Vixia HFM30 HD

    Video format: AVCHD (.mts) 1440 x 1080 29

I am running on a Dell XPS L501x 8 GB, OS, Windows 7 64 bit

Please let me know if I forgot any other information, you may be able to help me. I would appreciate any information you could provide.

    Thank you kindly

Your problem is solved? Have you managed to get rid of your blurry preview within the project?

What version of Premiere Elements do you use on Windows 7 64 bit? For now, I'm going to presume version 11, 12 or 13.

    Otherwise blurred previews still exist...

    1. have you already (manually) or the project (automatically) the project preset

    NTSC

    AVCHD

    HD 1080 p 30

in order to match the properties of your HD 1440 x 1080 anamorphic 16:9 source media?

First Elements ATR troubleshooting: PE11: accuracy of the project auto Preset setting (new project dialog box)

    2. When you see the blurry Preview in Edit box monitor, you looked at the non-rendus or melted

Timeline of content in reading? If you had an orange line above the timeline of content in this reading, the blur disappears if you press the Render button above the timeline in order to obtain the best possible overview of what you see in reading the script contained in the Edit area monitor?

The program uses an indicator of line colored over the content of the timeline to tell you whether or not it gives you the best possible

    Overview

    1. no coloured line = you get the best possible overview for the file that you just imported - no time frame made it necessary or possible. In general

associated with you or the project that defines a corresponding project preset in advance.

2 line orange = you do not get the best possible overview - Render.

3, green line = you get the best possible overview - no time frame made it necessary or possible.

If you have "no line colored" or "green line" indicating no scenario made necessary after making changes to this content, you will get the Timeline need

indication of rendering once again and a different timeline render is required for changed content back to the State of '' best overview possible. ''

Please review and consider. For any question or need more information, feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

  • Will not read the imported video.  The controls are unresponsive.

I am completely new to video editing.  I imported a couple of clips from my dslr, .mov files.  They seemed imported ok, I recorded them at 60 fps in 720 p on 30secs each.  The clips are shown on the screen when I double click on the screen of project, I can visualize using the slider, but they do not play back when I hit the space bar or click the play button.

    Any suggestions?

First your sequence settings must match the clips.

You do not have hardware MPE so probably that line in the timeline on the clips is red.

If you need to make for an overview.

I'm not a Mac person, but the Macbook Air seems a little underpowered.

  • Why the imported videos have characteristics lower than the source of the videos?

    Hello!

I do a video for the first time and am totally confused.

    I shot the videos with a digital SLR, videos 1280 x 720.

I imported the video into Premiere Pro CS5, double click on a video imported so that it has been shown in a window, then I played this video, only to discover its quality was average poorer than the video source - color was inappropriate and there is more noise.

    What's wrong?

I put the format of pixels in place, I will do 16:9?

Any help will be rock :))

Check the resolution of your reading. Its default value is set to 1/2.

There is a button in the program monitor, it has three colors: red, green, and blue.

  • Where the imported video files are stored?

    Hello

Just changed CPF to PP. I know not to expect differences between the two programs, but I can't understand where PP stores its images in the camera once imported?

In FCP, you set the images to be captured in a Capture folder on a disk to work.

I have imported a lot of sequences now but do not know where the files are stored on the disks?

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you

    Josie

You must transfer the files from your power off on your hard disk before ingest via the media browser in first.

The only thing that makes the first is links to these files. Also first does not move the files.

They are always in the same place when you place on your computer.

When first I drag the MOV file that is imported, the video and audio are visible. However, when I put other videos, sound is absent.

As you can see, I put the two same videos, but the second time I put it on the timeline, sound is absent. Someone knows why?

  • Export the video the same size as the imported video

    Hello world

    Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 v4.2.1

I import a .mov video that is 400 pixels wide x 300 pixels high. I want to export with the same size, so I can put it on a Web site.

I found how to intensify the video so that it fits the 720 x 480 format, but now how do I export to 400 x 300.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,

    Tom

Configure a corresponding project into new fashion sequence, settings, edition, office.

Intensification of this little video is not a good idea, you will lose sharpness.

  • Rotation of the imported videos

How to rotate video imported from a smart phone's Micro SD memory chip?

    Hi Lorihodges,

It depends on what software you use. With most of the windows programs you can go edit and find a selection of photos or videos rotate. If this isn't what you want, let me know.

    Hope this helps

  • Corrected the host file corrupted, now showing 2 host files in XP

I have a corrupt host file and 2 host files have now for some reason any. What to do to fix this?

After explaining all this several times, here are some notes:

The hosts file is a read-only file, hidden system.  It is just a text file that you can manipulate with WordPad, Notepad or any text editor.  Before you modify the hosts file, make a copy of the current in case you need to restore the original.

The hosts file is (or should be) a file read-only, which means that if change you it, you will not be able to save the changes until you remove the read only attribute of the file.

You may be able to create a new one or reset your hosts with Microsoft Help file:

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/972034 (this does work as expected the last time I tried).

If you use the Fix It from Microsoft, you will have no hosts file when you're done (which is not necessarily a bad thing) so you can just read and follow the instructions to find out how to fix it yourself.

Some third-party software analysis tools (like Spybot) may add entries to the hosts file on purpose to block your browser from loading WWW websites completely or block ads from certain sites WWW.  They claim to have a list of sites that most of the people want to block and insert them into your file hosts for you.  You can always delete the entries in the hosts file manually if you wish.

Another good option to block ads sites is to use Firefox with the Adblock Plus extension (it is updated regularly with new sites).  If you use that combination, you don't have to worry about your hosts file and these two together really do a good job.

Malware can also add entries in the host file to redirect the browser to another site than the one you really want to visit WWW.

For example, if you try to browse to www.google.com, you can find yourself on a WWW site that is inappropriate or simply an advertisement for a product you never heard and do not want.  Your browser will always be redirected away from www.google.com until correct you the hosts file.

The malware can also modify your hosts file to block your browser to go to Web sites where you might find a solution for how to remove the malicious software.  The malware sometimes knows what you're going to try to find and remove, so it will prevent you to do so.

If your hosts file has been manipulated by malware, edit the hosts file does not remove the malware.  You will still need to scan your system with software tools to make sure that the malware has entirely disappeared.

Malware analysis tools can also remove the malicious software and leave the bad entries in the hosts file.  Analytical tools cannot tell if the entries in the file hosts were made on purpose or by malware you still may need to edit the file hosts manually in case of redirection of the browser once the malware has been removed.

Some analytical tools will report changes to the hosts as a suspect file and allow you to review the changes and allow you to decide whether the changes are appropriate, and to take action.

Sometimes, analytical tools cannot tell if the entries in the hosts file have been put there by malicious software or you put there on purpose so cannot do not report any problems with the hosts file.  This does not mean that the hosts file has not been adjusted by malicious software.

A hosts file is not required for your browser to operate.  If you suspect a problem with the hosts file, you can rename the hosts file and test your browsing without it.

Always reboot your system and the navigation test after making changes to the hosts file.

To manipulate the hosts file, you need to make hidden files not hidden and remove the attribute only read the hosts file.

In Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc

Click on tools. Of files, display options.  In advanced settings, enable (check) the box option for:

Display the hidden files and folders

    Click OK.

The hosts file has also no extension (for example, .exe or .doc) and it may be useful to also see the file extensions for all files in
the folder.  While you adjust the display of folder options, bring up the file extensions.

Click on tools, Options, view.  In advanced settings, clear (uncheck) the box:

Hide extensions of known file types

    Click OK.

Now the hosts file must be visible and you can also see the file extensions.

Make a copy of the current hosts file and name the copy something he can remember so that you can find it later and cancel
any change if the changes don't work or things get worse.

The host file is usually a single reading, so to change it, you must remove the read-only attribute:

Make a right-click the hosts file, properties, uncheck the box that says:

    Read-only

    Click OK.

Now you can edit the hosts file with a text editor (Notepad, Wordpad).  Be sure to save the hosts file after any changes.

You will need to decide what is in your hosts file.  The default hosts file has only one entry (and a lot of comments) so if you think that the hosts file are the part of your question, you can remove all but the default entry and save the file.

Always reboot your system and the navigation test after making changes to the hosts file.

You should make hosts read-only folder again when you are finished making changes.  Obviously some programs or malware do not pay attention to the attributes of a file read-only, but it is advisable for the host file to be unalterable.

If you want to, reverse explore changes to hide system files and extensions of known file types.

If you think your hosts file is irretrievably, replace the contents with the default values of Windows.

The default for Windows XP hosts file looks like this:

    # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
    #
    # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
    #
    # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
    # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address must
    # be placed in the first column, followed by the corresponding host name.
    # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
    space #.
    #
    # In addition, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
    # lines or following the name of the machine indicated by a symbol "#".
    #
    # For example:
    #
    # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
    # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

    127.0.0.1 localhost

There are places on the Internet to download information to your hosts file which is based on what other people think your hosts file must block or allow for your Internet browsing.  Sometimes that works very well, but you now need to know more on the manipulation of the hosts file now so that you can decide what's best for your environment.

Here's some additional reading on how to manipulate your hosts file:

    http://www.MVPs.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

This is a user-friendly tool with a graphical interface (GUI) to help you work on your hosts file:
