The incorporation of a sequence number (function?) Within Adobe Document?

Hello, alumnus of Adobe:

I just received my Application SR investigated. Director via the IOC of our University reclassification option to the next task:

Question: Is it possible to incorporate a unique sequence number within each download of an Adobe form, which of course can be filled with data from the Office users (which is a common thing today).  The question is really which option are available (i.e., Action Script, Javascript, IE) within Adobe to create a function of the sequence, or we look at using technolgy server for everything that is hosting our Adobe software infrastructure side (Coldfusion, Dreamweaver, i.e.)?

Thank you.

There are many techniques that can be subscribed form used global variables, a field day or SQL database to track the sequence number, but the exact method will be your choice.

See basis (Open Document) Document level Scripts for the increment field, but we should save the form before the next person opens the form.

See Journal August 2004 Acumen for the use of the variable global counter.

    You already have ways to use the sequence.

  • Calling a function within a symbol?

    Hello

    I am one of these flash devs who try to get edge animate to do what I usually do in Flash, so I could do this the wrong way, but I have a symbol with an "inner" function on my scene, and I want to call this function from the scene.

    I tried to use () .getStage () sym.getComposition ().getSymbol("symbolName").functionName; but it does not work.

    I have no problem handling the symbol itself by calling the . play() or . hide() so I know the path work... someone can show me the proper syntax to call a function within a symbol?

    THX in advance

    Hi Abnesher,

    An important principle to grasp is that symbols (and the stadium is one of them) is located in parallel, despite instances of different symbols, nested one inside the other (and all ultimately nested in the scene).

    The consequence is that from the inside of your nested symbol, you have no direct visibility of the function defined inside the step symbol!

    Inside of the symbol of the step , in the document.compositionReady event handler:

    sym.yourGlobalFunction = function (firstParameter)

    {

    your stuff

    }

    Inside another symbol, in one of its event handlers:

    sym.getComposition () .getStage () .yourGlobalFunction (5);

    Oracle 11.1

    How can given this structure and data, I generate sequence at the end of each line numbers? Basically, the sequence number (x.y.z) is such that x (1.n) is awarded for each unique value in file_no. In each x, y (1.n) is assigned for each unique value of batch_no. Within each y, z (1.n) is assigned for all records of this batch. Sample data shows only dt but all sequences must reset and start over when dt changes.

    I tried using row_number() over (partition by dt, file_no) and such but nothing quite gives me what I'm looking for.

    If you look at my CREATE TABLE, the ID column is a primary key and represents the order of the data in the file.

    Done batch_no = 100 come before or after 101?  Batch_no = 100 a ID so much until after the id for batch_no = 101.

    Good point, but that won't happen because of the way the 'record' is generated. All batch_nos will be contiguous. So if batch_no 100 comes earlier in the file as 101, it should get some 2nd highest sequence number. Otherwise, lower. Basically, the 2nd part of the sequence must simialar logical number to the 3rd party (i.e. order by id) but that messes things. Still struggle with it. Any help appreciated.

    I think I understand.  You say that, because of the way that the ID is issued, it wouldn't matter if you used the highest id of the batch_no, or the lowest id, or the average, or if you chose one at random; you would get the correct order in all cases.

    The following query uses the id low in the order file_no and batch_nos.

    "ORDER BY file_no" and "ORDER BY batch_no", she uses

    "ORDER BY min_id_file_no" and "ORDER BY min_id_batch_no".  These values are calculated in the subquery, got_min_ids.

    Output (including the additional sample data I posted):

    Hello

    I try to use the VI of unconstrained optimization to fit a measured spectrum. However, each call VI, I get the error:

    Error 1 occurred Armijo rule stepsize reduction failed to reduce the value of function within the maxiters

    Possible reasons:

    The VI for the stepsize Armijo rule reduction can be found here:

    In the current implementation, the spectrum is able to a rectangular spectrum. This may be the cause of the error?

The application requires no installation, you simply double-click the name of the executable file, and the program opens to the software section. Scan down the list until you find the applications tab. Click to open your list and find details of eset and see if the sequence number is in the list.

    One of these two approaches should solve the problem for you. Let me know how you fare.

  • several insert using the same sequence number,

    Hello

    I need to use the same sequence number in several documents (insertion).

    Is this possible and how?

    Thank you

    It depends on how you are doing multiple inserts.  If you then run a bunch of single inserts something like:

    dev1 > create table t (ID, descr varchar2 (10));

    Table created.

    dev1 > create sequence t_seq;

    Order of creation.

    dev1 > select double t_seq.nextval;

    NEXTVAL

    ----------

    1

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, 'Rec 1');

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, "Rec 2");

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, 'Rec 3');

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, 'Rec 4');

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > insert into values t (t_seq.currval, 'Rec 5');

    1 line of creation.

    dev1 > select * from t;

    ID DESCR

    ---------- ----------

    1 rec 1

    1 rec 2

    1 rec 3

    REC 2 4

    REC 2 5

    You can use a similar approach, if you select data from another table as long as you can make the selection sufficiently selective to retrieve only the lines you need.

    On a PC using Windows and Adobe Reader, I sent 10 PDF files in a zip file and each label of the PDF file with a number from 1 to 10, so that they appear in the order I want. Numbered 1 to 9 records fell in the sequence automatically, but the number 10 appears under the number 1 instead of below the number 9. I googled the problem, do not see addressed. I called Microsoft, and they said it's a matter of Adobe. If anyone can help I would be grateful.

    Thank you.

    Not an Adobe issue at all. If you want your files to a single digit (1-9) to appear before the 10, you must add a zero at the beginning.

  • Records of the TWG visible to other functions within a session?

    Hello! My TWG (global temporary Table) was created with ON COMMIT DELETE ROWS;

    My question suppose that several pl\sql functions called by ODP.NET can run within a single session because of connection pooling.
    Is this the right hypothesis?

    I was unable to catch it again but did not exclude the possibility that records inserted into a global temporary Table with a
    function 'slow' may be visible to another function ("fast") before the problems of slow function a COMMIT. Worth, a quick function can
    issue VALIDATION until the slow end actually destroying records in a TWG.

    Am I correct in my assumptions that the data of the TWG can be removed if another function within a session issues a COMMIT?

    Sorry in advance, but I'm going through after the first part of my question in the ODP.NET forum as well.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Thank you, Tubby. I'm fairly certain that I can cover multiple threads in a web environment each get a connection grouped each execution of a function that uses the TWG.

    Experts on this forum can tell me otherwise?

    Published by: user549560 on May 8, 2013 16:20

    I think perhaps you are getting confused however. The mandate of a connection pool is give a connection when asked and remove it from the pool so no other resource uses.

    So if you had "multiple threads" in your 'client' which would translate to the X pool connections. Each connection is a dedicated Oracle session. So if you have 3 "threads" you have 3 sessions of Oracle, as I said before... I'm sure that there is no way for a pool of connections to give you 2 connections to the same session (until this session is returned to the pool, of course, I speak of overlap here).

    The only way "where a function may inadvertently delete the documents that belong to another function" is when the two functions are called in the same SESSION of ORACLE.

    And you program in general for this. You provide a service that is atomic, one that does not rely on the client calling X routines before hand and hope, while hoping the client continues win the lottery and get the correct pool of connections Oracle session (because your process is based on the TWG or package global variables, and a specific state that has been defined for example). If you have a situation where you have to go back and forth between the client and the database (client must process the data of the 1 function call in order to feed the function call 2 for example) during several connection pool connections, then you program for it using things like the overall application contexts.

    It all comes down to management and the definition of the transaction. YOU need to reach this output so that the customer knows call 1 single routine is a transaction and if you and the customer agree that you have need of a return in the way I described above, then YOU must extended that out as well, and design for this.

    I can assure you that Oracle session X will never see a session Oracle Y. TWG data unless you manage to break the database and find a horrible bug that is :)

    See you soon,.

  • Insert/update of the XML help merge and to generate the sequence number

    Hello

    I'm working on Oracle 11 g.

    I have a doubt with loading XML.
    I get an xml and I need to insert or update data in a table. What I can accomplish by using the MERGE statement.
    But there is a column in A table, I need to fill with a sequence number, based on the data sent in the xml file.
    The XML does not send the data in this column.
    And I have to make sure that sequence is created according to the order in which the records are present in xml.
    For example the MERGER is insert five rows and update two lines and insert again 3 rows of xml in table A. The sequence number must be created in the same order for the column in the table.
    Also for every new XML, the sequence starts with 1 and ends with the number of records in the xml file. I can't create a sequence and use the seq.nextval.

    Please let me know, there is a way to achieve this.

    Thank you!

    I have a sequence and the trigger (which will trigger the id for each line insertion).

    My scenario is, if I update more than 5 lines of a way of time, I need to define a same example (1) sequence number for all the 5 rows.

    Next time, if I update another way for 5 rows, then I need to define a sequence of the same number (i.e.) 2 for the next 5 lines.

    So my update will be dynamic (can be 2, 5, 10 rows at a time), but I need a same sequence number for one of the column for all of the lines that I'm updating the value.

    Next time, if I update another series of lines means, then I need to put only the next sequence number (i.e) 2 (assume this sequence previously updated to the front of the set of rows is 1) for another set of lines.
