The item this shortcut referred to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut no longer works correctly.

I created a folder on my desktop and files of the copied image on my SD card in the folder newly created on my desktop. This issue has apparently disappeared without a trace as I used it and I can not find anywhere on my laptop.  I do not at any time to delete this file.  It was in the trash, simply disappeared.  I am in desperate need of their return.  Can someone help me find my missing folder?

This message means that you has not actually copied the file to the SD card, but you rather than a shortcut for it.  So it only works when the SD card is connected.  If the SD card is removed, you will get this message.

You mean reinstall the OS completely? If you have Vista DVD you can do however make sure to
totally your data off the drive of backup, and you need to reinstall your programs. If you do not

Then you can make a complete new installation - just select the format options that erases the entire disc (this

Some system manufacturers use Partitions recovery and other methods to allow you to go back to a

    - and it's certainly doable - just a question of the process the manufacturer of the system set in place to

There was no upgrade or what it's done for her.  I have laptop and games and programs work very good about it.

    Hi gearbrain,

It's happening to all the applications installed on your computer?

You can try again to create a shortcut and check if it works.

This problem occurs because of a Microsoft Windows function that does not structure memory shortened correctly if the shortcut (.lnk file) has a goal less of 14 characters.

To work around this problem, set the shortcut read-only. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. right click on the shortcut and then click Properties.
    2. click on the general tab.
    3. Click to select the read-only check box, and then click OK.
Check whether the problem is resolved.

    Hello

I am very interested in the precise scope of the 'to pretty much all of the icons'. At the same time: it sounds like a malware infection. Install and run Microsoft Security Essentials http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security_essentials/default.aspx and Malwarebytes anti-malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php. If it still does not help, try ESET online virusscanner http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner.

Although the material does not change I believe be asked randomly with the guest of TPM to unlock the device at startup. It is a question of severe usability. The guests are so frequent that the TPM module ensures no more values. The value of the possession of the keys in the TPM is lost when the number of guests of the key is too frequent and unpredictable.

What are the events should Tigger for the TPM secure request the key? Other users have found to the TPM to be usable on other machines W520 with Windows 7?

Go to settings BIOS F1, menu boot, Boot.

    What is your boot order?

Best practices for bitlocker, is to eliminate all devices in the boot sequence that you use and put the HARD drive at the top of the boot order.

#1 causes unexpected bitlocker recovery guests is not to have the HARD drive at the top of the boot order.

If you have changed your hardware configuration or the BIOS version recently, bitlocker invites you every time you start (by design).  To resolve this problem, you must stop/restart the bitlocker protection in the bitlocker Control Panel.
