the maximum output nest

Hello Labviewers,

I am using the PID function for the proportions of 2 components in a tank of an agreement.

As input, I have a variable related to the color of the liquid and the output a Retiro between 2 of the liquid ingredients.

The problem that the while loop is executed every 40 seconds and I used random numbers for the gains of an another VI.

My question is how can I convert the output signal (upper and lower limit a) a significant relationship between 0 and 1. And how the iteration time (40 years) may affect my PID.

See you soon,.

PS: I tried to do the same thing with the fuzzy logic toolkit and it works perfectly, now I'm trying to compare the results with the PID.

Using the LabVIEW PID block? Search for aid, you will see that there is an entry "output range". Input default-100 to + 100, so if you see on your diagram, do a right click of the Terminal, create a constant and enter the values that you want to use.

    Hello
    My places.sqlite file size is 30 720 KB I reached the maximum size, is there a maximum size for this.
    Suddenly the visited links don't change is no longer the font color, that I prepare for an exam, I need visited issues to change color, to follow up on issues that I ended. But if I delete a few days of history, then again once, most visited links change color and then it stops, it seems that something is getting full and not able to accommodate more? Why my visited links don't change color after a number of visits? I would like to make a back up of the file places.sqlite. So I tried everything to remove the profile, uninstalling reinstalling, creating a new profile, and then copy paste places.sqlite etc, but as mentioned after a few visits, visited links is no longer change color, if I delete a few days in history and then a few visits is again change color and then stop again, so what should I increase so that my quota of visited links is increased , I also tried tweaking about: config and there has been no result. Although I was not really convinced that _pages growing brower.history_max (don't remember the name, but I'm sure you get the idea) will help.
    Seems that while my visited links change color, quota is met and only if I delete the history of a few days will I get some links most visited to change color. Can someone enlighten us? As mentioned that my places.sqlite file size is 30 720 KB so I think maybe this has something to do with it? Would be very grateful if someone could help me. Thank you.

    Sorry it is not looking good.

    1. Unlike bookmarks history is not saved in Firefox.
    2. There is a possibility using Windows.
    3. Sync is not expected to back up things until the synchronization server
    4. If places.sqlite does not sort itself you may have to re-create remove it. You will lose your history, but can still access indirectly IF you have saved a copy of the appropriate
    5. Different databases to try to create new profiles
    1. History
      is rather less robust than bookmarks, you should deliberately somehow return it upward, but it's too late now
    2. Earlier versions of Windows
      This is really the last chance. Make sure you have some places.sqlite you saved. Always before and after any attempt to restore the backup. Windows must be able to provide a previous version. One of these versions may be usable as is; or can be used after a repair with housekeeping. Of course, this is not the latest version but it should help.
    3. Sync is not a server backup service.
      Sync is intended to save on another device, no backup is the fact that the second device then contains synchronized information. IIRC Sync development ceased, and the replacement when available may include a server backup option.
    4. Recreate the database of bookmarks (including history)
      Unfortunately, recess can only use saved bookmarks, there is no saved history to use. Once the database is re-created, it will continue to store the history but it loses the existing history. This time take steps to save on a regular basis.
    5. Use the new profiles for database testing.

    To simplify comparison of the results of the database different files create one or more new additional profiles. Then try to smash the places.sqlite file into the test profile with any other places.sqlite, you want to try. Allows you to directly compare the databases, without seeking to use sync and without changing the Firefox profile work unnecessarily. You can keep a reference profile of studies with the best of the profiles of any shows results of history; According to the best recreated or corrupted database is.
    • Use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox
    • CARE, do not rename or delete profiles created once or use anything other than empty folders when they are created. Don't nest in the other profiles. (At least until you know exactly how it behaves - post back if you never consider such actions)

    I would like to change all then

    What is the maximum size of hard drive, this device can handle?

    If you run firmware 4.x, you can use 4 TB. If you use a firmware lower than this max is output to 3 TB.

  • Exceeding the maximum switching voltage

    Hi, I have a quick question (hopefully) on electrical safety and a switch PXI-2536.

    In a series of tests that I am performing, I have one requiring the connection of an output channel of my camera, an entry to a DMM and the positive power of my power supply (via a pull-up resistance) through the switch. The device can run from 12V - 24V and lists of plug switch technique is the maximum switching as voltage +/-12VDC, so I think I should be fine as long as I run at 12V.

    However, I have another test that does not require anything which is connected through the switch, but it affects the output of the power supply 28V to check the power circuit. I can cut the ways of the switch and shut up (by program) during this test, but I don't know if that actually gives him no protection.

    Can someone tell me if I'm in danger of damaging my switch, if I have one of these channels (a column in this case, if it makes a difference) connected to a 28V source, even if it is not open and connection?

    Thank you
    Jon

    JWanklin,

    However, I have another test that does not require anything which is connected through the switch, but it affects the output of the power supply 28V to check the power circuit. I can cut the ways of the switch and shut up (by program) during this test, but I don't know if that actually gives him no protection.

    Which is expected. (The relay will remain open despite the software telling you that it is closed).

    Surge protection is at the hardware level and does not give any feedback on the State of the software. If you try to close the switch, the software and hardware will always try to drive the FET to be closed and will always report as closed relay. The FET used on this specific switch has the feature, where it will open the circuit if it detects that the voltage at the terminals of the switch is greater than 12 volts to the chassis ground.

    Can someone tell me if I'm in danger of damaging my switch, if I have one of these channels (a column in this case, if it makes a difference) connected to a 28V source, even if it is not open and connection?

    In view of the surge protection, you are technically without danger of damage to the switch, but as the Maximum switching voltage is 12 v CC, I wouldn't recommend keeping the 28V on the column, if it is not used. Ideally, you should never have anything related to the switch which is purposfully above the maximum switching voltage.

  • Get the maximum index of a vector of growth

    Hello

    I'm having a very strange problem. I simulate data with an sine function in a while loop and I keep the values< 0.7="" into="" a="" vector.="" when="" the="" sinus="" values="" are="" over="" 0.7,="" i="" remove="" the="" vector.="">

    I would like to get the maximum index of the vector at each iteration of the loop. However, I get a zero index while the vector has a size > 0.

    It's really strange, because if I put the values of the iteration instead of the values of the sine, the index created is correct (the only difference is that the iteration number is an integer, while the sine is a decimal number).

    To make someone understand something?

    Thanks for your help

    Andrew

    Instead of "delete table", just leave the REAL empty case and 'use default if unwired' on the output of the table tunnel.

    Once the sinuses is once again<0.7, you="" are="" on="" the="" descending="" branch,="" so="" the="" first="" element="" is="" always="" the="" largest="" for="" a="" while.="" nothing="" wrong="" with="">

    I would also put indicators after the case structure so they update in all conditions.

    Table min & Max will give you the index of the element with the highest value. If you want to know the size of the array, use the function "size of array".

  • DC motor of control using the analog output of DAQ 6008

    Hello

    Since the 6008 DAQ implements not good PWM, can I control the speed of the DC motor using outputs analog, protected by amplifiers?

    This will damage my DAQ?

    Ok.  The engines will be quite low.

    Consider using an LM317 as the "amplifier". Add one or two diodes protection. Connect the AO to the terminal of the regulator with a resistance setting to land.  Your output voltage can go down to 1.25 V and up to minutes (battery-2 V, Vaomax-1,25 V). If you have a battery of 12 V and a 12 V, the maximum speed of the motor engine will be slightly lower than the nominal speed full. The minimum voltage the motor probably will not work.  The regulator has a built in protection against overcurrent and overheating.  It's the motor controller cheaper you can do and works very well.

    If you need to reverse the engines, things get complicated a bit more.  You can use a DPDT relay or a transistor H-bridge.

  • NiDAQmx limits the maximum number of analog samples which can be read / buffer?

    I try all the time on a USB-6363 to 1000 Hz 2 channels analog samples.  Everything works until I have started to increase the number of samples to read only once in DAQmxReadAnalogF64().

    I have set up the buffer in DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming() like twice the amount of samples, I want to read at some point.

    Up to about 8000 samples (128 000 bytes: sizeof (double) x 8000 x 2ch) it works and read call returns without delay once all about 8 seconds.  Increasing the number of samples other than that, I can no longer read the data (the DAQmxReadAnalogF64() always holler times).

    Question: am I running in a limit on the maximum number of samples that can be read or buffered... maybe a DMA limit any?  What determines how big you can make the buffer in DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming()?

    Maybe it's not obvious, according to the documentation, but if you look at the output value of the parameter samples per channel function DAQmxReadAnalogF64 reading, you'll see that when it times out, he reads what was available when it has expired. So if you're always calling this function, and your timeout value is too short, then you'll always be timeout, but you will always catch all samples. You can view this as the function will return when the buffer is full, or the timeout is reached. That's why we have provided an exit indicating the number of samples read.

    As a general rule, ask not read like this with DAQmx. I would recommend registering a callback for EveryNSamples (there is an example that's bundled with the CVI on how to do this), or by specifying a longer period than what it will take to gather real that many samples (in your case, 8000 samples at 1 kHz would be > 8 seconds). The main problem with the polling stations with a short time-out is that you should ignore errors that is not recommended.

  • cRIO - H bridge using the PWM output and input only encoder control

    Hello

    I am currently working on a project to control a 230V brushed servo motor using cRIO. The engine drives a linear step and the final project needs to create a control of position of the engine that the user is able to enter a speed, position and control steps to move to this position.

    I use a bridge using NOR-9401 and H to power the motor circuit and a PWM output to move the engine. I also have an encoder, quadrature, connected to a NOR-9403 read position and speed. I use the example program of encoder for the NI 9505 - in my application.

    There is no voltage or current on the drive circuit sensors so I wouldn't be able to have a closed loop current in this case. The scene release mechanism is such that the position is locked if the motor does not move and I do not need a torque control to keep the engine in place.

    To achieve this, I just wouldn't be able to use a single PID VI (probably the FPGA VI express for discrete PID)?

    I am not very well versed in the theory of control, and therefore no indication in the common sense would help me a lot.

    Thank you very much!

    Sexy,.

    in general, it is best to use a cascade control loop structure but in principle must also be able to use the output of the control loop of position as an input to the PWM generator. The main disadvantage of this configuration is the current limitation missing. Without current meaning is no longer the only way to protect your engine from drawing too much current to limit to the current maximum output of your diet, or to limit the maximum duty cycle of PWM. Without current information, the last method is quite inaccurate, but better than nothing.

    I agree with Mike, you should look in the examples of the 9505 module and use the controller position vi of these examples. This PID controller is optimized for motion control applications and it is implemented in the fixed point arithmetic, offering the best performance on and FPGA.

    Kind regards

  • Count the occurrences of the maximum values

    Hello

    I don't know if I simply not thinking clearly this morning or not, but I find it difficult to write a query which I believe should be simple enough.  I'm trying to find the number of occurrences of a maximum value for each value in a range.

    Here's the situation:

    I have a table that stores the scores on the Act and SAT tests for students, as well as their student number identification codes and test. The table can store notes reviews multiple with same code test (in this case A01) for each student, the student can take the Act or SAT several times.

    In my case, I need to know the number of students who earned a maximum test between 14 and 25 grouped by test score.  So if I had 500 students, and 300 of them took the test ACT, then my output can resemble:

    REVIEW NOTE number of STUDENTS

    14                                   12

    15                                   18

    16                                   45

    17                                   55

    18                                   100

    19                                   35

    20                                   15

    21                                   10

    22                                   5

    23                                   3

    24                                   1

    25                                   1

    Although there may be 400 scores in tests with the test code (A01), I'm only willing to count the maximum score that the student has received.

    Fields:

    ID: sortest_pidm

    Test code: sortest_tesc_code

    Test score: sortest_test_score

    I'm going to use this as part of a larger query to track the retention of students with different ACT and SAT scores.

    Thanks for any help you can provide.  If anything is unclear, please feel free to ask for clarification.

    Bob

    It should work. Just check the table and column names.

    SELECT max_sortest_test_score, COUNT (*)

    FROM (SELECT sortest_pidm, MAX (sortest_test_score) max_sortest_test_score

    OF test_scores

    WHERE sortest_tesc_code = "A01".

    GROUP BY sortest_pidm)

    GROUP BY max_sortest_test_score

    ORDER BY 1;

    You shouldn't have to do something with these scripts.  If you have an existing SQL DB, you configure ODBC settings and specify that DB SQL in installing vCenter.  The installation program will do what needs to happen.  Just make sure you have dbo on the MSDB (to create rollup jobs) and the VCDB.

    If you use the embedded SQL 2008 R2 express, Setup creates also everything you need 'stuff '.  Simply choose 'create new DB' or something to that effect.

    I hope this helps.

  • The maximum size of the model in SQL Data Modeler?

    Hello

    The number of objects is the maximum value that can be used in a model in SQL data maker. I reverse engineered a scheme (see previous posts - thank you to all that helped) which contains 1000 + tables (a candidate for remanufacturing if ever I saw a!) but the Data Modeler is struggling to display them and performs very slowly. I can pull the same schema in the Oracle Designer and that works well, as ERwin-t - y at - it something I can do to improve the performance of the Data Modeler?

    Or people would recommend cutting the model into smaller pieces, which will be a little difficult because it's a bit of a rat's nest.

    John

    Hi John,.

    You can try to fix the memory usage - Re: problem of memory with large model

    And you may have better performance if divide you large diagram in subviews.

  • entry of boilerplate text to create the new output text

    Hi Im trying to use a clip with four input textfields nested inside the textfield of entry (name of the customer, the delivery, the telephone number, address), after a user presses save button, I want to save the text to my textfields of output (customer name, delivery, phone number, address). but whenever I press save button it replaces the textfield output box. Im trying to create a new textfield output whenever a user enters information in the input textfield and list this info ten to a page... help or direction is appreciated!

    I see you still have the nexted writeText function in another function.  That out of there and give him the same level of access as the function dispar.

    I think I begin to understand what you're trying to do.  What you need to do is to make the object you are targeting only be the last tbox object that you added.  To do this, you should have a variable outside the functions (private var newText:tbox ;) that you assign only to the most recent created tbox because it gets created... (replace the line in the function using just: newText = new tbox() ;))  Then in the writeText function target you using this variable as you.  That should be only the most recent you tbox Add.

    In addition, if you only have a ps1 textfields game you only need to assign event listeners to them once.  If I understand what you are doing, your current code reallocates the listeners whenever you create a new tbox.  If this is the case, find also assigned outside the service dispar

  • The result collection has exceeded the maximum flood control level?

    Hi all

    When you run a metric on an agent, I get the following message:
    The following exception has occurred:
         RTMCollection: exception occurred: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Collection Result Maximum Flood Control Level Exceeded
    Someone at - it any information on that?
    This measure could go back a few thousand lines in the result, so I added the "LIMIT_TO" in the file default collections:
        <MetricColl NAME="......."> <LimitRows LIMIT_TO="1750"/>  </MetricColl>
    However, the error is still happening...

    1. someone comments on the flood control message?
    2. should what nr of lines I introduce LIMIT_TO?

    Any comment is very appreciated!

    Thank you
    Ed

    Flood control settings are different from the concept of Limit_to - the concept of limit affects the output of the metric. flood control settings protect the agent against a metric producing too many lines that could theoretically allow the failure of the agent.

    So first of all, I would seriously consider the metric measures reports that more than 10,000 lines are ill-conceived likely metric.

    In order to control the parameters of flood control, they can be adjusted if necessary for testing purposes, but I wonder again seriously any metric design requiring a large volume. The parameters are:

    /**
    flood control data to control the number of rows may result in collection
    * keep. from the min, we will open a session but rejects silently new upcoming lines
    * in the result set. If we reached the maximum, the assumption is that the
    ' * ' fetchlet ' is out of control (loop?) and we will report a duration
    * statement.
    *
    * @name CollectionResults.MaximumRowsFloodControlMin
    * @type integer
    * @unit lines
    * @default 5000
    */
    private static final ConfigProperty MAXIMUM_ROWS_FLOOD_CONTROL_MIN =
    () Config.newIntProperty
    "CollectionResults.MaximumRowsFloodControlMin,"
    5 000).

    /**
    flood control data to control the number of rows may result in collection
    * keep. from the min, we will open a session but rejects silently new upcoming lines
    * in the result set. If we reached the maximum, the assumption is that the
    ' * ' fetchlet ' is out of control (loop?) and we will report a duration

    *
    * @name CollectionResults.MaximumRowsFloodControlMax
    * @type integer

    */
    private static final ConfigProperty MAXIMUM_ROWS_FLOOD_CONTROL_MAX =
    () Config.newIntProperty
    "CollectionResults.MaximumRowsFloodControlMax,"
    10000);

    and can be controlled via:

    emctl setproperty agent-allow_new-name-value...

    or by the emd.properties implementation and performing an emctl reload.

  • The maximum size of the TYPE ARRTYPE IS TABLE OF varchar (20)

    Hi there I wonder how many records can be stored in TABLE type variabel? TX in advance.
    TYPE ARRTYPE IS TABLE OF VARCHAR(20);

    Hello

    PL/SQL oracle 11 manual indicates the index of a nested table type is an integer.
    You can also read:

    Number of items
    If the number of elements is specified, this is the maximum number of items in the
    collection. If the number of elements is not specified, the maximum number of items
    in the collection is the upper limit of the index type.

    An integer is a Number (38)

    I would not wory to much you exceed this number.

    I think that it is limmited by the available space in the database.

    Kind regards

    Peter
