• Is there a problem with the maximum size of the RAM for Satellite 320CDT?

  I have a 320CDT Satellite with the latest BIOS (v8.00) and Windows 98 Second edition installed. There are 32MB memory base and a 32 MB module in the single expansion slot. If I change it to a plug-in 64 MB I see that 64 MB of total memory reported, not 96 as expected; the specification for the machine indicates that the admissible maximum memory is 160 MB (32 MB base + 128MB expansion). Does anyone know if there is a problem with the maximum memory size for this model and if there is a solution or workaround? I need to know quickly, in order to decide if I should return the memory module to the vendor! Thanks a lot for any help, Peter

  Satellite 320CDT supports an internal memory of 32 MB and a single slot can be used!
  You can improve it to max 96 MB (32 + 64 MB)
  I found a few old memory modules. You can use the modules SODIMM 144 pin EDO PA2043U 32 MB or 64 MB PA2044U

• Win7 log in problems: "the referenced account is currently locked and cannot be saved in.

  I've seen a few posts related to this error, but nothing of quite like what I feel... My service company COMPUTER is perplexed and they have tried a bunch of stuff at the end server without result, so want to recreate the image on my computer, I don't want to just cause it's a pain.

  I have 2 computers in my workplace. A desktop and a laptop both running Win7 that connect on the server in domain of companies. I use the same username and password for both, of course.
  The problem is with the laptop. Occasionally when I try to log in, I get a notification "the referenced account is currently locked and cannot be saved in" and I can not connect. However, if I unplug the network cable and try it, it works. If I plug the power cable back in and lock the computer, restart the whatever, I can connect properly. However, after a few hours or days, it does the same thing.
  So I'm not completely locked out of the system. It's really annoying to have to disconnect the network like that.
  It has not always done this... It allows to work very well, but it seems to have just started for no apparent reason. The main difference between laptops and desktop, is that the laptop has Symantec PGP Whole Disk Encryption, while the office is not.
  Any thoughts on what may happen and what can I do about it?

  OK, I've created a document 162,7 "x 90.6" (work plan) for a design I design. The document was created using all the flaws - I think that's where I was wrong. Illustrator is now telling me that "the combination of the size of the work and the resolution exceeds the maximum that can be rasterized" after I opened the document and when I try to add a shadow to what whatever.

  Other than vector graphics, I created in illustrator, I only have 3 180ppi and 4 300 PPI pictures tranfered just behind the camera photograpers.

  I chose:

  1 "print document" in the initial startup window.

  2. I got the size of the artboard, purge and left control the 'pixelation effects' "high (300ppi).

  I think that to let the adjustment effects of pixelization at 300ppi, where is the problem.

  What I need to create a new document or I can fix it already exists?

  Illustrator is 32-bit only and is limited to 3 GB or RAM usage, it is more a limitation to a bug.

  Try opening it in Photoshop before you start all over, and then save it in psd or tiff.

After receiving the camera I immediately noticed that the bezel has been separate (but wasn't sure if I was part of the many ppl affected until I did a little research & compared my unit to a few other identical x61ts...). Basically, the lower part of the hinge plastic, in portrait mode, separates and when I press it, it remains in contact with the LCD for a few seconds and pops up. This is covered by the warranty, am I correct? What is the usual turnaround time?

  Im a bit surprised that this issue was raised during the beginning of this year... units delivered to later use (including my own?) the caches of the newest?

  (2) lock

  my lock has double-sided detach completely yesterday when I changed the fashion portrait to normal mode. What I see on this forum that day Im under the impression that the lock of the break is considered improper use regardless of the cause. How cool of lenovo for such in this case? Or is it covered?

  Welcome to the forum!

  Your Tablet's screen SXGA + or multi-touch?  Updates on the bezel are exclusive to these models with SXGA + units and have been found to significantly reduce the appearance of separation.   A few rare occurrences are possible on both models and in my opinion are probably caused by a combination of Assembly process and the possibility of a certain tolerance in the parts of the seat - especially when the adhesive is applied. (if the lower adhesive strip is set too low, less than 1/2 of its area makes contact, greatly reducing the power of possession)

  This should be an element of guarantee.

  The latch should be treated based on the inspection of the whole, and if there are signs of impact, etc. in the case that would indicate the unit had undergone a form any impact.

  Service should make the call on whether the warranty or non - warranty in nature.  I might suggest consulting with a business partner authorized warranty, because while the ring is removed, it would be a good time to replace the latch.  Replacing the latch requires the bezel to remove, and a service provider should replace rather than re - use the once-removed bezel.

  It has just begun to surface on the Web more. This seems not to be a browser problem, as happens in my opera and IE too. I can't go up to 2 TB, or am I limited to a lower number? 1 TB? 500 GB? 250 GB?

  In theory, you'd be limited to 2 TB.

  The biggest HARD drive I have ever installed in my dc7600 CMT was a 1 TB of HDD, so I can't confirm that a 2 TB drive will absolutely work.

• The address bar / AutoComplete is locking up.

  Everytime I type something my history or bookmarks in the location bar, it displays the first character or two, and then refuses to view the rest of the address of the site that I type and fails to show the results of my history/bookmarks. It shows only what I am typing after I press ESC or click anywhere on the Web page. A similar problem also occurs when I try to pull something together as a Web site, including the forms on this page 'edit a question", except that the AutoComplete results appear and I can use my mouse to select what I wanted to type manually.

  I'm guessing that autocomplete is locked for some reason any. However, I have tried to clean the sql databases and even removed the profile folder and reinstalled firefox, nothing helps.

  A solution that bothers that I know is to run firefox in safe mode and disable all addons or reset all the preferences of the user by default, which makes the AutoComplete behave exactly as it should until I close firefox. I can reactivate my addons and restart firefox and the address bar will continue to behave properly, but closing and re-opening firefox without using safe mode, even if nothing is changed (addons reactivated, set preferences, etc.), translates the AutoComplete not cooperating again.

  This problem started about a month after I had installed Xubuntu to 11.10.

  It's been four months now. I am running Firefox 11.0, and the problem is still there. At least, he received no worse or anything like that.
  Firefox is the only program on my computer with an AutoComplete feature that locks like that. It's really weird.

  Edit: From Xubuntu 12.04, this problem seems to be fixed.
  I'll upgrade to Firefox 12 and see if it stays that way.

  To be honest, I think a battery about 02:15 hours is good and I think that everything is ok with your laptop. My new Satellite A500 I also only 2.5 hours if I running on battery, sometimes less than 2 hours or less. That s always according to the applications you run.

  Well, it s the same you compare two cars with the same ch from different manufactures a car's fuel consumption higher than the other car, even it have the same hp. Why? Well, the different manufacturers using different parts: other tires, gears, weight, dray of air, etc.

  You can compare two identical notebooks or cars from the manufacturing even to find a problem, but * not * from different manufacturers. ;)

• Why the network location is always locked?

  I use locations 'House' and 'work '. I never put on automatic because the well, that simply never works.

  I checked the specifications of this laptop on the Toshiba site and you can upgrade the RAM 8 GB. Therefore, you (1 066 MHz) DDR3 RAM and two 4 GB modules. They should be the same manufacturing to avoid problems of incompatibility.

  According to the specifications of the laptop computer supports a 6 GB HARD drive.
  You can try with 10 or 12 GB of HARD drive.

  These hard drives are cheap and I don't see any risk with the upgrade. Test it!

  You made recent changes to your Tablet? Have you tried to install Windows 10 or run and updates of Windows at the time it started?
