    Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way.

    (1) if we click on Edit button it will display a pop-up message with "Id has been changed with the OK button. I did this customization.

    TBird updated to version 31, it will not download the messages of my pop server. I can send, but not download messages. I restored Win (7) at an earlier date to return to the version 24 of Tbird, and everything worked OK.

    TBird later Auto-setting to update itself (ugh!) back to 31, and we don't go again, no E-mail download. I changed the settings to Win firewall, even tried that turned off completely for testing, without any difference. Retarted Tbird and win several times, no go. It's extremely frustrating.     TBird works very well for me in Linux Mint 16, but this glitch under Win 7 just jumped to the top with the upgrade to 31.

  • Every time I make an external edition with 12 LR6 elements it tells me I need Camera Raw 9, but the elements will not update to Camera Raw 8.5. How to stop this message pop up?

    It is actually both a Lightroom and Photoshop Elements problem. The version of Lightroom you are using search Camera Raw 9 to make sure that the image is properly translated when it transfers from Lightroom to Photoshop Elements.     I got Thunderbird established and working for years with multiple accounts. All of a sudden today, I can't send all messages in ANY of my accounts with several Web hosts. The message I get from all of them is:

    I checked my settings. The look that is configured in the same way they always do. I can send email with these parameters from my phone (K9 Mail on Android program.)

    All my accounts that can receive messages in Thunderbird. I get new messages and I can read them.

    If I try to save a message as a project over IMAP, I get the error:

    Unable to save your message as a draft.
    Check that your Mail & Newsgroups account settings are correct and try again.

    What could possibly change to make Thunderbird exhibit this behavior? I tried without thunderbird downgrade to the previous version and it still had the same behavior.     The problem was that my directory/tmp was not mounted. I don't know why it has not been mounted, but restarting the Assembly fixed.

    Thunderbird was IO error trying to create temporary files. The error messages were misleading, making me think it had to do with e-mail accounts.

    Have you tried to connect to your e-mail accounts in system preferences? If not then go to System Preferences > Internet accounts and check if you are connected.

    I'm sure that you when it is able to search from the location bar, however I can't do that. If you just type a Word, a message appears saying it was not valid, or a valid url. If you type in a word associated with a web page, it will go to this page... for example, if you type in the fire engine, I get the message, but if I type in snopes, it goes to www.snopes .com

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.
