The missing in Illustrator CS5 live paint bucket tool

The Live Paint Bucket tool does not appear in the Toolbox of Illustrator CS5. I looked at other threads which suggest to delete the file "Adobe Illustrator CS5 préférences". I did and it has no effect. There is no empty space in the palette where the button should be, she is just completely missing, as it was never installed (either its hidden somewhere I'm fairly new to Illustrator). However, I can create a "live paint group' using 'paint-make objects-live' in the drop-down menu in the menu at the top of the screen. It's just the button that is missing, so I can not color of the object. I don't know if it the button was always there that I only installed the software a couple of weeks. I needed just now. I have not yet tried re-installing of Illustrator. It's really a last resort. I use Windows Vista if that helps.

Any help is very appreciated.

    Hello illustrators.

Its been a while that I used this tool. But I am facing a problem, I do not understand.

I see some tutorials and I try to follow along I can't have the same functions of the tool, as demonstrated.

My live paint bucket tool doesn't have the same options as the guardian. He can drag his arrows and get colors from the color palette, while I only have one available color.

I have always to go to my color palette and choose a color in order for my forms to be filled. But when he suddenly comes to my shape coloring so no problem, I can slide and get my color

selection. I'd like to use for my fill also color well to drag my arrows and see the available colors if it has meaning.

The top image is what I'd like to achieve.

The bottom image is what I have in my document of Council art. saw that one color is available, and I have to click on my palette of color for color. No sliding with the help of arrow keys is available.

    Thank you.

Click on a swatch. The three places is related to the use of the color chart. Once you just mix a color in the color Panel, it will break.

  • Live Paint Bucket tool

I'm new to illustrator, and I hope someone can help me with the living tool. I use CS5 on a mac. I watched several tutorials that show the live paint bucket directly under the eyedropper tool in the toolbar to one side, but I show a 'symbol spray tool' it instead. I can't find the paint bucket tool to live anywhere... any suggestions on how to locate this tool? Thank you!

  • AI5 live paint bucket tool

I'm quite a beginner to Adobe Illustrator. I use the demo version of AI5.

I scanned and created a work plan with my drawing.

I have switched to dynamic painting mode, but could not find the tool live paint bucket.

According to their instructions, it is assumed to be with the eyedropper tool.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or where the tool could be?

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Bob

Scott misunderstood the query, the live paint bucket is under the form generator tool and above the tool rack perspective in the toolbar and the free transform tool below.

  • Live paint bucket in CS5

The help of Illustrator on a Windows machine running XP sp3 with an Intuos 2

I use Illustrator CS2 for awhile and have upgraded to CS5.  I need help with a problem I am experiencing with the live paint bucket.    I select the illustration, go to object > live paint > make and get the blue bouning box.  I choose my background and outline colors and go to work.  It seems to work until I get a close-up view, around 800%, and then I noticed that the race is not filled in some of the traits completely (there seems to be some gaps in the path that do not arise in a normal display mode).  Outline of its artifacts leaving (I don't know what else to call them).  I have attached two examples of these artifacts.  I also tried to fix this with the selection tool paint Live which I am also having a problem with.  I took out the paint group dynamic and verified that all the paths of my connection and have corrected the problems that I can see.

This did not help either.   Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.  I consulted the help, and either I can't read with understanding English or... I can't find the right words to bring up the problem.

Live Paint artifacts.jpgThank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I understand that it is a live paint object you use.

Before using the live paint bucket, I was able to select the individual paths both to edit. Now when I click on one road, he selects each unique to the image path. Is there a way out of this?

That's what I'm going to talk: (I only wanted to select the star, but the entire image has been selected).

You should always be able to select the individual paths with the direct selection or group selection tools. or open the layers palette and hunt for him. or double click with the black pointer to break into the group.

  • Big problem, changing the strokes live paint bucket

Hi all, if in the first picture you can see the line once in work. When I fill out the face with a vibrant paint color, it changes the features and made them appear jagged varied widths, this is particularly obvious on the eyes, ears and hair - looks like it's the Pathfinder application > divide. I have the race null when I apply fill, please help!

    Picture .pngPicture 1.png

    How about this?

1 duplicate the lineart and place it below the layer and lock the original

2 convert the lineart in a contour line by going to effect > contour line, then object > decaying appearance

3 open the Pathfinder palette, and then select all and unit/Add it.

    4. all change no line and no fill

    5. Select all and then convert it in live paint

6 deselect the converted path and start using the live paint bucket.

    7. after that expand and separate so you can pass the path to fill. you will also notice that it will remove all the path you have been converted.

    answer if it works.

  • Question on the paint bucket tool and the magic wand tool

I try to learn Marie-illustration with PS

I have a few question, since I'm new on this

    cartoon1.jpg

first on the paint bucket tool, theres you can see, first of all I do preview, then fill with the pot of paint, but as you can see it, theres always have white line

so I have to manually paint to fill the white line, is theres no adjustment so the filling does not leave any white line?

the 2nd issue is on the quick magic wand tool

    cartoon2.png

    cartoon3.jpg

I make selection to expose and make new layer that fills with a color

but as you can see, for example, I use red.

theres a red leak, so I mus manually erasing who

is there a setting too for wand of the tool, if you fill the selection with the color.

the color didn't cross the contour line

so I'm just curious as to what you can change with a few settings, or his normal procces, so whatever it takes, you need cleaning by yourself

    Thank you

Photoshop is more (or less) a graphical editor hatched (with a handful of vector tools). Tools like the paint bucket tool work on the paradigm of raster. You can set the tolerance in the toolbar options also high he'll go (255) to select (or fill) all the pixels of the layer.

If you haven't already done so, try looking at Illustrator, because it is a vector editor; You can change the contours and funds of works of art on the fly and evolve it without losing quality to boot.

You will find the paint bucket tool after the Eraser tool.

    See the screenshot:

Also make sure you have good Workspace (Essentials) selected to access.

  • Unable to turn off anti-aliasing in the paint bucket tool!

Hi all! Today, I have a problem with Photoshop CS6, I don't know why it won't let me not turn off anti-aliasing in the paint bucket tool. The toolbar shows me a gray box of anti-aliasing, unverifiable:

    Photoshop Problem.jpg

Could someone explain how to solve? It is very irritating.

The color - indexed color Mode you cannot click on Anti Alias.

So if you change the image in RGB or CMYK, you will then be able to use the option of anti-aliasing.
