  My main question is: "why my video clips will run too fast when played on the monitor Panel.  It comes from occurring after I selected my media in the Panel tasks and placed in the correct order in the Timeline/timeline.  I knew something was wrong when I saw that the clips did not indicate their right length when it is displayed in the timeline (scope).  They have been compressed in only a few seconds, then the clips should have at least 5 minutes.  I ran the clips in the monitor and of course they ran too fast, with a lot of jerking movements.

  3 video clips, I'm doing a PAL HD video taken with my Nokia N8 mobile video camera. Here in mp4 format. This may be a problem?  Note that when I play these individual HD clips on my computer (Windows Media Player) they work perfectly.

  After that I put the clips in my project Panel (or before in the work space organize), I have perforned no modification or manipulation of clips.  They are in their original state.

  Simply too check that the clips do not appear to be compressed, I burned a DVD, the resulting video ran in a few seconds.

  Help would be greatly appreciated.

  What is your project Preset?

  If you right click on the items in the project Panel, then choose Properties, which is displayed for the FPS?

  It could be that the FPS flag is not picked up by the GER, and if this is the case, you should be able to fix this by choosing to interpret the film and by changing the FPS to 25.

• Issue of the monitor Panel

  First timer here, so bear with me.  I imported my files, but the right part of the monitor Panel is enlarged.  I have the feeling that I narrowly missed a setting somewhere.  Can someone tell me what I did wrong and how to fix it?

  

  Two ways-

  -Default scale to the size of the frame in Preferences > general to apply to the items that you import, but not to the elements already present in the project. If you can set it and then reimport your images.

  - Or, preferably, select images (all at once) in the project Panel and go to Clip > video Options > scale to the size of the image. Then, they must conform to the size of the sequence when you add them to the timeline.

• No preview in the monitor Panel

  When I start the reading of the images, there is no preview available in the monitor (white screen). Only arrested sequenzes appeared and the sound is played.   What model of camcorder is your coming video and what format is it?

  When you started your project, including project settings have you selected? If you have selected the right project settings for your video, you will NOT be able to see red over your clips lines when you add them to your calendar. This is the case in your project?

  Have you ensured that you have the latest version of Quicktime, by the requirements of the program? Have you passed to the site ATI or nVidia and assured that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?

  I've been struggling for days with a problem:

  I took 3 video clips with my mobile Nokia N8 video camera.  Here in mp4 format.  When I play these HD clips on my computer it will work perfectly.  With this and with the help of Adobe first Elenents 9, I created a project.  I haven't made any manipulaion of time on these and have left in the rough.

  Seen in the editing mode they occupy on the seconds, and run in a few seconds, where, as they should be at least 4 minutes total.  I burned a DVD that confirmed they run fast.  Can someone tell me what I do wrong?

  BTW - until someone has replied to your message, you can always change it. In the thread pane, look to the right, more upward under Actions, and you will see the Edit thread. Who can save the double display. Now, only you, or a MOD can edit the message, and once responded to it, the Edit thread function is lost. Is the same in the responses - once answered to, Edit disappeared. In response, the button change is at bottom left of the viewing Panel.

  Good luck and hope that interpret the film will have what you need.

  I have the aggregation of data on my PivotTable set to display totals for all rows and all columns. But they appear exactly like all other cells. To distinguish them clearly, I want to change the color of this entire column and the row that displays totals at the end of something different - say "Grey".

  Is it possible to do this?... preferably without binding the bean pivot table,...

  DataIsTotal metadata allows you to set a color if dataIsTotal is set to true.

  For some reason any '4' has been on group 2 in the highlighted area

  Exactly, what is not working? Your OccCurr and OccFcst values are printed to the screen? I notice some questions.

  (1) If you want to display two outputText on one line, you can surround them with a panelGroupLayout and set the page layout to horizontal.
  (2) I don't think that you can place an outputText in outputText one another as in the codes that you have provided.
  (3) your EL is inconsistent. What is #{row.bindings.OccCurr.inputValue} or #{line. OccCurr}? If your values are displayed, but the background color does not work, it could be the first.

  You must realize that the hexadecimal notation is meaningless without reference to a specific color space.

  Hex is not different from RGB - the same number will produce a different color in different color spaces. And conversely, the same color will be different hexadecimal numbers in different color spaces.

  Hex was invented before the modern color management and the concept of the color spaces. The only color space, you had back has your monitor, which is of course different from the configuration to the configuration. Then hex has been designed as a convenient method to designate the monitor values. There was never any pretext of accurate color fidelity.

  Today, we have something much better and hex is really outdated and obsolete.

  I suspect that the reason why it has survived for so long, that is that it sounds very "computerish" and geek, and so people incorrectly assume that it has a special meaning. This isn't.

  Get used to working with the RGB values in the color spaces defined and specific. For the web, this would normally be sRGB.

  There are many ways to achieve this. We can be to use the background image for the application. Other means may be to use various containers (Panel, canvas etc with background pictures) to get this look. Think of it in HTML view. How you can use the div tags to your page layout, you can use various containers of Flex to your page layout.
