The requirement for the 1Z0-053 exam question

Recently, I took and passed my exam 1Z0-052. Glancing 1Z0 - 053; Oracle requires I attend one of their training courses. When I took my exam 1Z0-052 in the Center; one of the employees was trying to register for Oracle training. According to him, their classes meet the requirements of Oracle for exam 1Z0-053. However, the format of the class is different from the class, I took with Oracle University. (I had DB Oracle 10 g 1 Admin workshop with Oracle University - don't ask me why I didn't take the 1Z0-042 exam and finish on 1Z0 - 043; between work and life, the big procrastinator in me never capitalize on it).

Anyway, my question is, has this guy to the centre-right? If I attend their training courses; It will satisfy the requirements of Oracle for exam 1Z0-053? Has anyone taken training outside of Oracle University and Oracle 1Z0-053 satisfaction requirements? Or can you please show me the link or point me to the right representing Oracle who can answer that?

Any information is appreciated.

Thank you.

Most of the information are generally available under http://certification.oracle.com with a bit of descent:

The page key is:

http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=112

And you will need to attend one of these courses (advanced or specialty):

http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=244#5

Referring now to go back to the link above.

OU is always a safe choice, an OEAC should be safe, as long as they deliver a course under the ORGANIZATIONAL unit.

So, excluding Oracle Academy program of development of labour leaves leaves (WDP).

Sometimes it seems to me also possilble an OEAC can offer a course under (WDP).

... If you do the course in framework of the WDP, then the rules can be as follows:
-You are only allowed to make a maximum number of hours / week.
-You will need to make 11g DBA admin 2 or whatever they call it (I never go a lot on these names... a name can be manipulated, misused, abused, confused, misinterpreted and misunderstood in a misleading way).
-The quality of the teachng o n WDP can sometimes be much less than others.
-The course of the WDP will be generally much cheaper.
-Your contract with the Institute of the WDP rather than Oracle... is if something is wrong with your problem with the Institute of the WDP no Oracle. (This may also apply to o).
-I think with WDP you used to have to complete the DBA track all end to end, I think only a course (or 11(f) DBA admin I or 11g DBA admin II) is required.
-I recommend you to get in writing, not orally, of the Institute of the WDP class you have booked and paid for will satisfy the validitating cover the hands on training for Oracle 11 g OCP DBA Certification requirements.

Oracle WDP institutes must be identifiable here: https://workforce.oracle.com/pls/wdp/new_home.main

(Or maybe here for the India and OEAC: http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=317)

If in doubt, in my humble OPINION check here: https://workforce.oracle.com/pls/wdp/rd_psp_contact

I have my VCP-410 exam tomorrow and am wondering about the question to know if I am likely to see changes in the review of the recent release of vSphere update 1.

An example may be the fact that the PVSCSI is now supported by the boot floppies (windows 2003 / 2008) where as before it was not.

I'll assume that 1 week after the release of these changes are likely to appear.  For future reference can someone VMware tell us how long after an update can we expect the review to take account of any change in software?

    Hi all

We always try to maintain compatibility with the current versions of the product.  Which means that you can study the current documentation.  As Scott mentioned, we probably will not add new items immediately, but us correct inconsistencies with existing items.

  • 1Z0-053

    Hi all

I am preparing for the 1Z0-053 exam, which takes place this week.

But my study Guide OCP, Freeman and. Al., Sybex, the Oracle course administrator II rel. 2 and automatic Test questions to transcend it recommended seem to based on 11.1. and not on 11.2.

    Examples:

    1 FLASHBACK DATABASE
Answer: the database must be MOUNT EXCLUSIVE mode.
I think, database must be in EDITING mode.

    2. theme of globalization
do not appear in the exam 1Z0 - 053 news Oracle topics
but the Oracle administrator II. ADR courses are covered in the study guide, 2 and transcend self-test

Has anyone recently passed the exam 1Z0-053 and used the transcend self-test for preparation? Was it useful or was the important topics or version specific missing issues?

Is globalization currently a test subject or not?

You have any other suggestions on preparing for the 1Z0-053 exam (about version 11.2)?

    Thanks in advance.

If this isn't in the topics sound unlikely to review. It could in beta version for example.

Transcend self-test will be useful and probably a good indicator.

I don't say this from direct experience.

Is globalization currently a test subject or not?

If it is not on the subjects of current review, then it almost certainly isn't '. See above.

You have any other suggestions on preparing for the 1Z0-053 exam (about version 11.2)?

The side "11.2" it is probably minimal. "." The examination question set will have been developed on 11.1 and checked at a certain point of view questions and answers remain valid for 11.2 and (the small number if) while having a problem would be rejected/modified. A small number of new issues would be checked only against 11.2.

    Thanks in advance.

This is my quick review. I have little time to respond.

  • 1Z0-042: exam: shared servers / dedicated

    Hi all

Do not know if you answer this type of question here, but the what h3ll...

The exam paper indicates that you should be able to identify when / when not to use shared servers. However the Sybex book goes into a lot of detail about this (inclduing a good in examples of questions), and Oracle Press book has a much 'lighter' vision of the subject.

With this in mind, it seems that the review covers only a small aspect of the object (a good thing from my point of view!). Am I correct, or I'd be sure that I know him minutae CIRCUITS, parameters SHARED_SERVER_SESSIONS & DISPATCHER_RATE view (s) etc.

In fact authority for the 1z0 - 042 exam subjects:

This has been updated account 10 gr 2 subjects in November 2006. (Subjects may even have changed since then, but I don't think).

It seems to me that your books dating back to front. They might even have been prepared while the review was in beta.

In general the Sybex book IMHO is sometimes a little higher in these things in relation to the press of the Oracle, but its all good things anyway and useful to know.

  • Here's what I can 1Z0 - 053?

Hi, I passed the certificate of the OCA already. Can I take a 1z0-053 exam without training?

You can certainly take the examination.

    BUT.

You will not get certification OCP DBA 11g until your prerequisites are met...

-This means that you must have a 11g DBA OCA (no matter what random TRAY)

    - And you should have received approved training, he has presented to the audit and get it checked first!

  • Oracle cert exams are equal weight to each of the questions - for example 1z0-117?

Oracle cert exams are equal weight to each of the questions - for example 1z0-117?

    For example, 1z0-117 Oracle 11 g r2 SQL Tuning has 75 questions.

Some of these questions you will have to look a long explain plan

Other issues could be just take 2 of the 4.

    Is equal weight each question.

    Is equal weight each question.

Yes.  And each issue is 100% right or 100% false.  There is no middle ground with multiple answer questions.

  • 1Z0-053-question/answer dubious in the preparation package to transcend.

    Hello

I bought the kit for the preparation of review, and I'm confused as a correct answer.

    http://www.Transcender.com/practice-exam/Oracle/1Z0-053.Kap

In what concerns the Flashback Database procedure, he says we have to use STARTUP MOUNT EXCLUSIVE rather thant STARTUP MOUNT.

Enter the documentation of 11 GR 2, they say never do STARTUP MOUNT EXCLUSIVE, but simply STARTUP MOUNT.

Link: scene of Flashback and the database Point-in - time recovery

Here's the screenshot the question of the review and the correct answer.

I have read in some places that the STARTUP MOUNT EXCLUSIVE is obsolete and the simple START SUPPORT is the way to go, unless explicitly.

My answer is OK? Is the suggested answer OK?

If both valid and I see this kind of dualities in the formal review, I would prefer the simple START SUPPORT rather than EXCLUSIVE?

    Thank you

    Bruno

Third party documentation beats every time - even the Kaplan materials, which are generally pretty good.

You are extremely unlikely to find an ambivalent question like that in a review which exists since long 1Z0-053.  In beta exams or tests that came out recently beta maybe.  Those who are there for years should have to solve such problems.

  • Can I take the 1z0-042 (10g admin 1) after exam 1z0-007 Oracle 9i

Hello! I have a question about the Oracle 10g admin 1 (1z0-042) Certification.

    I passed 1z0-007 SQL Oracle 9i in December 28, 2012.
Now, I decided to complete tracks of OCP DBA in Oracle 10 g.
    My Questions are,

    1 should I should I improve?
    2 Does1z0-042 complete my GED?

    3. I will have the choice to complete OCP 1z0-043 taking?

    According to this link

Oracle exam 1Z0-007 is deleted: for me what mean?

It is clear that I can take exam 1z0-042 having previous passed1z0-007 (SQL 9i).

I just request this to my satisfaction before preparing for the next review.

    Thank you...

So, is he put the last hand I can take 1z0-042 without upgrading only 1z0-007 in order to complete OCA 10 g admin-1?

    It's 1z0-007 > 1z0-042 > 1z0-043 = OCP?

    The answer to your question is Yes.  1Z0-007 > 1z0-042 > (1z0-043 + training) = 10 g OCP

There is no such thing as upgrading your credentials SQL Fundamentals.  They are marked by a release of the database only for the convenience of the OU.  I discuss here:

    Hello

This is regarding 1Z0 - 864: Java Enterprise Edition 5 Enterprise Architect Master certified review (part 1 of 3).

While he was trying to test the sample in Whizlabs, I been allocated partial mark/grade for the multiple choice questions. In other words, for a given multiple choice question which have 4 different choices and only two answers needed to be selected, I chose an option, but they gave me some 0.5 points for that.

So, I would like to confirm if the original certification exam also follows the same approach or even partially answered options will be accepted, it's ALL or none market allotment for a certain multiple choice question.

    Thank you

    Dipesh salvation,
Oracle Certification exams do not provide a partial credit. A question must be entirely correct in order to get credit for it. Good luck with your exam!

  • Guarantee that won't change the examination required for DBA OCA 11g

I'm about to take the exam 1Z0-051 - SQL Fundamentals in my path to the OCA 11 g certification. then I plan the training for 1Z0 - 052 - DB Admin I next Jan 2011 and will write the review more than dec 2011 if I can put the knowledge I have acquired training in real work situations for a year before the exam 1Z0-052. The problem is, is it possible (even remotely) which will change the examination required for 11g OCA in this period of one year? Say, as you have to pass 1Z0-047 rather 1Z0 - 051 for 11g OCA, thus renderring my pass 1Z0-051 worthless? because I don't think it's possible that I will get a refund. Oracle can guarantee, or Oracle can change requirements when they want as they are happy?
The reason why I take 1Z0-051 is first because I'm already pretty confident with my SQL skills, but not so much with my DB Admin skills since I just started to use Oracle DB. I used SQL Server for the last 3 years. Thank you

I can't guarantee anything unequivically, but we have radically would not change the certification requirements without providing options for candidates who are already on the path to certification. I can't predict this review being removed from this way, that this review has been developed for the path of the OCA 11 g. The other reviews that are alternatives to this review have been approved as an alternative, they were not developed specifically for the OCA 11 g review. I don't think you have to worry about this.
