The objects don't align with the origin

I suddenly can't get the node from the corner of a rectangle to coincide with the upper left corner of the artboard - it compensates by 0.5 px both ways. Tried to quit and restart. I wonder if this is controlled by a preference - I looked through the windows of pref and he couldn't find something that solves the problem. Anyone know what is happening?

    Hello

When you save metadata (for example key words) to JPG files, Lightroom changes timestamp of files right now.

Is it possible to preserve the original time and date as it was before exporting metadata to display the date and time that the photo was taken directly (and not only not by having to add another column in the Solution Explorer).

  • Object will not align with the guide in my document.

I'm working on a chart and eventually align parts with a guideline. And the graphics keep bouncing off the guideline to the left or to the right, up and down as I drag the object to the guides. I use Illustrator CC14 on a Macbook with OS X 10.9.2.  Not sure if you prefer that I have to turn on or off. I turned off the snap to point and snap to grid. Help. Thanks in advance.

    IvyLeaf,

In such cases, the first assumption is aligned to the pixel grid

You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher.

You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  • C8180 don't align with the white paper

Hi just bought a used C8180.  The test print shows empty for forj light scratches white and cyan, and cyan light magenta and magenta. I replaced all cartridges with new ones. I ran numerouse printhead cleaning and self-test of reports. Black print is fine.

    The pictures are horrible.

Trying to align the printer, it gives the error "use clean white paper." The white paper is 96bright and new.

I turned the unit on, reinsert the cartridges.

    What else?

    Hello

The printer uses a colorful light to align the print head. If required (in this case Cyan) color is not printing - the printer cannot complete the alignment. If the printer does not know there is a problem, then he thing you use other than white paper.

It seems that the printhead of the printer no longer works.

  • The objects are no longer self-aligning with the other

    Hello

I am new to Adobe Illustrator CS4 and are in desperate need of expertise. I think settings got messed with, because now whenever I move an object, he tries is more 'auto align' with close objects or borders. I don't know how this feature is called, but it is when a smaller circle type of "jump" at the center of a larger circle, or I think that it will also show when limits are tangent.

My apologies for my noobishness, but how can I activate this return? I find the program very difficult to use without it.

Many blessings for your generous explanation and kindness.

On the view menu: guides, Snap to Point. You may have hit a shortcut by accident.

Is there a way to re set Lightroom to the original settings, I was playing with it and has gotten, somewhere, I don't know how to get out of. Not very computer savvy

    For starters, stop Lightroom

    On Windows, do the following

Click the Windows Start button and in the search box type: -.

    %AppData%\adobe\lightroom

    Then press Return\Enter

This will take you to the folder Lightroom (see image below)

Select the Preferences folder and click on delete to send it to the Recycle Bin.

Close the Lightroom folder, and re-start the Lightroom program.

  • I'm about to buy a new laptop. I have installed the upgrade to Office 2007 some time ago and have the CD, but I don't have the original CD that I used to install Office 2003. How can I install Office 2007 on my new computer with only the upgrade CD?

I am currently running XP.  I expect that the new laptop has Windows 7.

Without the original installation media, Microsoft Office 2003, you cannot install a version upgrade of Microsoft Office 2007.  You would need to purchase a version of "Full license" of Office 2007. Carey Frisch

  • Flattening of the dynamic objects to the original document and keep their Hi-Rez detail detail

Hello, I am under difficulties with ram collapse my Photoshop files, please let me know if this is how to use smart objects for their Hi-Rez details, change your object voluntarily collapse / compress in the original document while retaining all of your changes and detail Hi-Rez to save on ram? If If Yes, what is the procedure?  I searched everywhere on the net and have not found an answer to this question.  I'm under that Photoshop CS6 extended on OSX 10.9 Mavericks.

(You definitely lose any advantage that Smart Objects give you when you flatten (the same applies to any other characteristic, such as layer masks).) Flattening is usually used to save on resources (such as Trevor mentioned).)

Thank you, Warunicorn, I do understand that you lose the benefits of dynamic objects, I guess what I'm trying to ask is to make you lose the appearance that smart objects gave you when you group documents? For me if the image looks still even with objects with or without smart objects their pixelated it does not matter that smart objects or they aren't. I seek only the general appearance, is he always looks good as he has done with smart objects. ?

    Thank you for your help,

When just flattening? Of course, they look alike. It's when you go to register in a particular format is where things start to get sticky. (As the backup format JPEG.)

  • Smart objects - copy without referencing the Original SO?

    A question from me

If I copy a raster layer several times for an animation to image, then it makes sense to do than the smart object layer.  What I do, but I'm missing something.  For example, there is a video going around on photo blogs today, a lady in charge by an elk, but missed the guy with the iPhone, so I quickly put together.

    Elk-Lady.gif

The video has been radically challenged in the Department of pixel, so I made the Lady layer one OC and formulated a number of copies.  Same thing with the Elk (from a different source), where I used Puppet Warp to simulate a bucking motion.  In both cases, Free transforming the PW YES, or using copied, caused the original SO layer to reflect the changes.  Not good at all. And it's something that's happened to me before.

Then a little later, Google I found this old threadand tried his advice to slide SO the layer to the new icon of layer instead of using Ctrl j.  But that's where it weird, because now I could use Ctrl j and PW as before and modify a copied SO layer without affecting the original.

Someone has a good understanding of why my SOs don't always work in the same way for me?  I guess I should man to the top and RTFM, but I was using what I thought exactly the same workflow in different documents and get different behavior.

Working with smart objects in Photoshop

I don't see this problem in PS CC 2015 (Mac) with copy/duplicate methods. Are you sure that you not open the parent (SO) and the transformation (Puppet Warp or free transform) running on the child (content)?

Application of puppets Warp to a smart object layer apply PW as a dynamic filter that is only attached to this layer (you will see in the layers), and if none of the other layers will be affected by PW. But if you run PW on duplicate content, clicking on a smart object to see the child record, then all layers will be affected.

Looks like you know what you're doing, but the PW behavior as a dynamic filter is specifically designed for the layer that the smart filter is applied.

  • Is there a reason why certain numbers automatically generated do not align with the text?

I'm building a small book in InDesign and generated chapter numbers only display correctly aligned with the text of the chapter into two chapters. In others, they are slightly lower than the base line and print that way. They all use the same format title and list paragraph. (I even checked the Master Pages for objects that drag may interfere and see nothing.) Someone has seen this and can point me to a solution?  The original document was from the Pages converted to MS Word, so I tried to see if there are some strange characters which came with the conversion, but as you can see on the screenshot below, nothing shows up. Any help to identify the problem or a cure would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a chapter that is displayed not correctly, and it is the base character Format options.

  • restored msn messages came back with words not in the original messages

In an attempt to defend myself in the middle of a separation/divorce case, I was confronted with a printout of so-called MSN communication between myself and another person who appear to have been falsified. Print must be from a program to restore the software of some sort because I do not believe the person who presented to me would be typed it upwards to make it look like a print. There are familiar expressions, but they are completely out of context.  Print reflects excerpts from actual conversations have however a sexual shade for them, none of which were part of the original communications.  I am at a loss to explain what I know the nature of the initial communication is quite civilized, not playful and flirtatious not somehow, but printing resulting reflects the foregoing.  My question is if deleted MSN messages end up in the trash and if someone attempted to restore the files, is it not true that Microsoft is going to the source when restoring files and in this case, the source would be the World Wide web?  The World Wide web is not a portal open for falsification?  If anyone out there can provide a technical explanation of how these messages could have been changed, I would be very grateful.  Unfortunately, the two computers/hard drives, at both ends of these communications is exist because they have been replaced with laptops.  All I have is this troubling impression that I wish I could counter with a technical explanation any.  It would be very useful.  Thank you.

PS. These communications were held 3 years ago and I don't know what are the versions of Windows that we use both.  However, I used Windows 98 and the other Windows 2000, if that makes a difference.  Thanks again.

  • How can I start my XP desktop PC using the original CD of the Windows XP operating system, but I don't remember my password?

The last time I asked a question like that, someone made it is perfectly clear that they would not help me to crack a password..., three times. If you have any suggestions that may help me in fact, I'd be in your debt. Otherwise, save your time and ignore all this.

I am trying to perform a repair to the XP operating system. When I try to boot from the CD drive using the original Windows XP disc, I can not connect. It's a dead-end.

When I try to boot from the hard drive, the system reaches a certain point, and then it re-boots. If I just sit and watch, it keeps re-initialization. Strange thing is that recently, I changed the password. I simply do not remember what it is. And, seriously, I have experienced repeated amnesia episodes. The obvious thing to do is to keep my own hand written records..., I only using computers since 1982, before IBM introduced its first PC.

The BIOS provides a way to clean up all the stored passwords? This is where I'm going next.

I apologize for being a little rough. Part of that comes with age.

    Jeff

Hello, Jeffrey. I just read one of your other threads. Brian Tillman brings a great point that you missed. The BIOS password (if it still exists) has absolutely NOTHING to do with the other passwords, including those for things like a Windows XP profile.

Unless you have created passwords, while they do not exist. So, if you need to boot from the Windows CD using the Recovery Console, and you are prompted for a password, then chances are that just by pressing the Enter key (indicating an 'empty' or empty password) is all you need to do.

So, if I were you, I would not at all concerned about your BIOS.

In addition, I think you mentioned that you couldn't even see the administrator account. Assuming you have Windows XP Home Edition, this is how it is supposed to be. If you want to see it, you will need boot mode safe. Then you will see. :-)

If you DID create a password and have no idea of what it is, there are tools to reset your password. But I think that people don't post links to these programs in these forums Microsoft (not very well why). But they are easy to find if you use a search engine.

You say that you have recently changed a password, but you did not indicate what it was for. It is important to understand that the built-in Administrator account is NOT the same as another account that you are using happens to have administrator privileges. And assuming that you never set a password for the built-in Administrator account, so if you are using the Recovery Console, everything you need to do is press the Enter key.

    HTH.
