The pre-rendered video - workflow question?

I feel like I should know this, but good... I don't have.

I finished the editing of a film to 90 minutes, many effects and layers in the timeline panel.  I have to make 3 different export the final video - one with stereo sound, an ac3 and other in 5.1.  But the video takes forever to render, some 60hours - and I wish I didn't have to repeat the video renderer for each of the audio versions.  Is it possible to render the video quality possible max and then just swap the audio tracks on it without re-rendering video?

I know that I can make my calendar in the first, but if rendered or not - which seems to have no effect on the rate of permanent export... ?

Thank you

Matt

You may export to a high-quality intermediate codec to create a 'master' video. Use something like AVID DNxHD or Lagarith Lossless, which are both free. Then, drag the resulting file in the top rail of the existing scenario. Export multiple H.264 it, but with audio files different on each. You can and probably should make COPIES of the sequence for each different output to keep them separate. Using the intermediate video, you will make all the effects, only once. Export in H.264 format from the intermediary will probably take just a couple of hours each then, rather than the 60 hours. According to the preview of the sequence rendering parameters, you cannot use any pre-rendered material because the preview codec might be a lower quality. Go DIRECTLY to the intermediary from the original sources of the timeline.

I assumed that PC - if on a Mac, then export as ProRes 422 HQ for the intermediary.

Thank you

I have a HP Pavilion pc with windows 7. There is a sound icon above the keyboard that looks like it is not if this could be the problem? If yes how to do it turn on?

  • Anyway to avoid the pre-rendered?

    Hello community,

Work with adobe audition from 5.5 and I've updated the updates came out.

The music I did usually consist of 10 to 15 titles, 32 bit (float) and 192000 Hz.

The only way for me to edit without hearing pop and Crackle is all pre-rendered. I have the upward Task Manager while I work and it doesn't look like my CPU is under development that hard. I have an i7 - 4930 k overclocked to 4.5 Ghz, 32 GB of RAM to 2400 mhz, the operating system is on a RAID-0 configuration, hearing is a separate SDS and I have the pictures on another HARD drive.

I was wondering if there was a way for me to avoid the pre-rendered and still not heard the POPs and crackles.

Need me a sound card to avoid this problem?

I went my audio with bad settings?

My drive configuration is not optimized correctly?

    Thanks for the help,

This is music for bats? You ask the streaming system to do work at least two times more than that would be even a desperate optimist working at 96 k, and even they record anything else of noise on half of their disk space!

The bit I in fat frightens me more. Try seriously to use its edge to 192 k sampling? It's positively crazy! The onboard sound devices are of very poor quality and almost certainly do not work natively at this rate anyway, there will be on-the-fly resampling going on. This demolishes the sound quality is beyond comprehension.

Humans can hear (if they are really young) up to about 20 kHz - this figure fall considerably in adults due to presbycusis. Past audio sample. humans to point higher can hear requires a sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz no more. There were old arguments about the sampling rates higher "sounds" better, but with modern audio devices as oversampling instead of use the filter brick wall, it is absolutely not benefit anyone to go beyond that. And the sample rate only affects the frequency the higher that can be recorded (half of the sampling frequency, known as the Nyquist frequency) - does not really something to do with the 'quality' or anything else.

What this means is that you can save a lot of hard work in your readers. The reason why you hear clicks all by checking only the computer is simply because you're trying to broadcast four times more data that you need. The other thing that I discovered recently is that overclocking is sometimes detrimental to the performance of the system in a strange way. If the processor does not work hard, then you simply have not need for clock too it - you just warm it more!

If you want to make serious work to audition at all, you need an external audio device, Yes. The quality of these, even the least expensive, is significantly better than any embedded device.

  • With the help of video demonstrations - Question on mutiple devices/accounts

So I have a bit of a complicated scenario that is close to the running of an event, I work for my employer.

We lack an event/conference of the commitment of the staff.  We want that delegates to fill a certain number of tasks, all on iPads - that we rent for the occasion.

I plan activities, and we will be giving them a range of the new Adobe CC of multitasking and mobile applications to produce a piece of media that illustrates their understanding of the key objectives of the company.

They will be divided into 5 groups, and each group will get an iPad.  Groups will be assigned at random to different tasks.  For example, it will take to produce a video of animation with voiceover using the voice. App.  Another will be to produce a video "live action" or interview/chat, see the scenario using Premiere Clip.  Other groups can produce a website using slate. (I hope you can see where I'm going here).

There are 2 things that I try to find:

    1. Is there any existing 'a page' guides quick to the CC apps so that I can put the latter in information packages sent as a document in support of give them an idea of how to use the apps to produce their media? (these are the front-line employees who would not normally produce videos or media, etc.)
      !
    2. Regarding the CC 'in-app' purchase of 20 GB of online storage - is linked to an iTunes account, or an Adobe account?

All iPads are hired and come with a standard itunes account which is not related to a payment mechanism (it is obviously to prevent users to buy applications on behalf of suppliers).  I would get 1 month of online storage additional to a number of different accounts of Adobe, but I don't know how to do this?  I need only the storage for a month--is not an event we again, I just want to be able to ensure that all product content is backed up so that I can retrieve it after the event

I hope that this is a logic.  Can someone advise on every point?

    Hi Greig,

That sounds like a great project, and it certainly can be done using a single account, CC. You have the right idea. Sign up for the CC account you want on all 5 devices. Create the content of the respected applications and then you could access your CC on Adobe.com account to access all of the content.

If you have any questions along the way, feel free right here or send me a direct message.

    Good luck!

  • Why can't I see the pre-recorded videos of TV via the media library?

When I open the Windows Media Center on my new Toshiba laptop, that I go as far as to check the recorded TV shows. I can click on the thumbnails, but the videos won't play.
I get an error message on videos that I tried that says there is a problem viewing this video, please try to view another. None works!

Windows Media Center has been installed as part of Windows 7 Home premium installed on the computer, Microsoft Silverlight also seems to be installed ok.
The photos section works perfectly, pulling the info from my photos. You can give me any advice as to what is causing the problem.

I was using Internet Explorer 9 (32-bit) as a Navigator, but that also gave me problems with Java script if I try to open a video using the Bing search engine. However if I use Mozilla Firefox (now my default browser) or Google Chrome and go to the video player via the MSN Web site I can watch videos without problem.

I have Flash Player version 10.3,183,5 installed, I also tried version 11 (64-bit of the trial) when using Internet Explorer 64-bit version, but were advised not to use it.

The laptop has all the right features to run this program.

  • In the tutorial renders Sub unanswered question slides

Hi, I looked through the last months of questions and do not exactly my problem.

I have a Captivate 4 linear project and has questions (without partitions reported to LMS) throughout to reinforce learning.

When a learner gets to an item in the series of quizzes and wants to return to a previous content slide (with OCD or arrow to the left on the navigation bar - I don't have arrow to the left of the Question slide itself.) they cannot return to the issue and take it. The question seems to be locked up and they get the error message below. It is a question that they never tried.

I am not a "back button" on the issue because I don't encourage that, but I on the parameters of the Quiz "allowing travel to the rear. If the problem will be solved, then I'll add this button. I was wondering if there is another setting that I can change.

The parameters of the question are:

    QuestionSettings.jpg

This is the incomplete feedback message by default.  I would check the number of attempts for the quiz.  I believe that if they leave the slide he woud be like jump, which is like a bad response. Which can cause the quiz to be omitted.  Have you checked the tab of failure pass under preferences of quiz as well?

  • Organizer-slide show stored location of the files in the PRE 13.

(This will be the third time that I posted this question. It is is not clear to me that the question was, in fact, posted on the forum.) :

According to the procedures given by Grisetti in his new book the 13 PRE, I created a slide show in the PRE 13 Organizer section, published in the Slideshow Builder and registered with the name several times during the process of editing/organizing. The next day I went back to continue editing, and the program could not find. I don't know where PRE 13 stops (or names) of the project files (an organizer slide show, in this case), so I couldn't navigate to find.  Instead, only opened, media browser which included all the slides in a random order, as well as others who were not in the slide show, and all titles were missing.

I assume that the slide show as I created it is somewhere on the computer, but I have no idea where the program has decided to keep. Using the Organizer to create slideshows, seems to rely on presentations in canned and default settings on things like the speed of the transitions between slides, which seems too fast. The presentation finished looks that the creator had a plane to catch. It doesn't seem to be a utility in the Slideshow Builder to set the speed of the transitions between slides, unless the show must be worn during the PRE 13 video editor. Grisetti book is not in the details regarding the editing of slideshow. The question remains: "what happened to, where is my slideshow?

    PRman

    Thanks for the follow-up.

Although you can put scene markers in the timeline panel content at the beginning of each film so that the viewer can select what movie to see, there is no end of playback and return to the menu after playback of the film (except for the latest movie on the timeline). Example... If you had 5 and the 3 selected Viewer film in the scene selection page, the reading would be film 3, 4 and 5 before return to the main menu. DVD-video to DVD disc, you can use a stopper at the end of each of these films (except movie 5 in this example) so that the viewer can select a movie, the movie plays, and, at its end, there is the return to the main menu. With AVCHD and Blu - ray burn to disc, you can place the markers of judgment on the content of the timeline, but these stop markers will not work in the reading of the final product disc.

    So, for your question

Is that what you try to say about to combine several slideshows with PRE 13, once a slideshow created using a format of menu, would not stop at the end, but go the next show, except order manually?

    Yes.

Please let me know if the above explanation made things clearer. But if any doubt, do not hesitate to let me know and I will introduce the thoughts in a different way.

Just in the note on the case, never place a stopper at the end of the last point on the contents of the timeline. It is not necessary here and often causes problems in burn it to disc.

I explored the tryout first items 13 to date on a global basis. Once I settle with a purchased version, I'll look to see if there's more that can be done with them in these special areas that are visible on the surface. So far, it seems that it is what it is with regard to this new slideshow of 13 elements Organizer.

  • Problem with overlap pre rendered scenes...

Sorry if what I say doesn't make much sense... I have taught myself how to use After Effects two days ago, and I spent about 35 hours on it since then by a typography video.  Everything was fine and dandy so far, except at random (I guess randomly, maybe I hit the function badly or something of the sort) when I do a RAM preview it will preview only the first minute of my video. Up to this point, he has no problems preview all of my video (which is 2 minutes and 15 seconds).

However, it is not that a big deal for me, I can work through that. What makes things especially difficult is when I overlap the pre rendered scenes (Shift/Ctrl/C function. I have use for every sentence in the typography video) I can't see the original scene when I specifically in a scene. He is probably confused, then maybe a small illustration will help.

    ------------------------------>

    ______________---------------->

The dotted lines show which is a section of text in the video, underscores are simply used as placeholders for this demonstration (you want to make sure that the formatting is not ruin that is why I did this instead of simply putting spaces.)

Now, if I go in that on the bottom, while the one on the top it overlaps I see it while I have it change. I don't see why he stopped doing this, and I can't continue until it is resolved. Any suggestions?

If it's too complicated, I can go and take screenshots, which certainly isn't a problem.

Now that I see the screen shot 82 and compare it with 81 I think I know what is happening.

You have 11 demo who lives in the model 1 and you want to change the items in the model 11 while watching Comp 1.

You're never going to be able to see items in the chronology of Comp 1 below the elements of the nested demo called model 11 because they aren't there, they're in Comp 1

You can, however, open a second window of editing by clicking on the edge of the 11 Comp tab and drag it just above the timeline so that you can see both calendars. You can do the same with the windows of the model. You can have 2 of them open at the same time. Then you just lock one of points of view model 1, and you can see how the changes in 11 will look in 1 Comp.

It's called ELAT. Edit this, look at this. I use it all the time. Open several chronologies and the compose window locked to the model I want to keep looking at. You lock the window of the model with the small latch just to the left of the name in the tab for the comp comp. sometimes, I have two composition windows open, sometimes I have two time stacked one on the other. It depends on.

If you need I can put up a screenshot of its operation later. Now, I need to take a train to SFO

  • Prpro cs5 recompress even if rendered setting is the same as pre-rendering parameter

This could be tough to answer. I am modifying a project which was shot using P2 DVCPRO HD. I have all pre-rendered on the timeline as MXF files. If I turn the timeline by using the exact same setting as the PreRender will it recompress anyway?

    Who is?

You mean you want to export to a P2 MXF to a sequence of P2 MXF, which has already been made in DVCPROHD MXF, correct? I'm guessing that, as long as you check the 'Use rendered previews' in export settings, first will be more or less do a copy operation of your MXFs melted into the new destination of MXFs, if the files are split into pieces of 4 GB by the specifications of P2.

You can try to export a little short of your sequence with these settings, import the video and put it on top of your original; set its mode of transfer to the difference and toggle to view the Y/C signal in your program monitor. As long as you don't see anything else than a continuous line at 0 IRE with no "fuzz", you can be assured that no reprocessing Executive took place (even if the speed of export will be a good, albeit less scientific, seeing this as well).

  • First 13 items - no rendering of the window editing or the possible final video

    Hey everybody,

Since today, Premiere Elements render more. If I try to make the editing window, it stops after 1-2 seconds without any error message. If I try to make the whole project in a file, it stops after a few seconds with the error that the hard drive has no space, but in fact, there are 1, 25 available to.

I tried with a project that worked perfectly 3 weeks ago and here again it no longer works.

I recently put to update for Windows 10, so maybe that's the reason.

If someone knows this problem or can help me somehow that I would really appreciate it.

Thank you very much in advance.

  • A problem I have with my rendering video.

Hello everyone, so I worked on a video for a while now and I'm almost done with the video, but I'm having a problem with my video rendering. I have it in my video so that there are a few sounds that appear at certain points in the video, and when I play the video inside of sequelae (ram preview) everything works fine, the audio playback when I want to play and audio, it's self is FINE. However, when I made the video, I hear sounds that I don't even have use in my video, and nothing plays sometimes instead of a playing sound. It's a weird question, please let me know if there is more information to provide. I'll try to get you guys give an example of what happens

The original video that I'm editing has music in it, I put it in place so there is a rattling at 00:10:00 and that there is a sound explosion at 00:15:00, when I look at the ram preview video, I could hear the sounds and everything's fine, when I made the video and I found that the music that was in the original video is fine and normal looked , but I found that do not work the sounds that I added for some reason, the rattling has changed and has become a strange noise, and the noise of the explosion doesn't work at all, please let me know if there is something I need to do to solve this problem. BTW, the audio files that I use are .mp3

    Operating system: Windows 10 home

After effects version: 2015 13.7.1.6 CC (this is the latest from today, may 29, 2016)

The computer specifications: ram and i7 16 GB 4th generation processor

If there is more information I provide, please let me know and I will not fail to do so as soon as possible

Edit: I just tried to make the video as AVI using after effects with adobe media encoder and the problem has been corrected, but the file is too large (because of the obvious reasons) and it would be difficult for me to upload it to Youtube. It seems that the problem might be due to the Adobe Media Encoder.

Edit 2: I just tried to make the video using adobe media encoder, and for some strange reason the clicking sound now doesn't at all, while the sound of the explosion is very well (Note: I'm not changing anything at ALL in my composition, I just tried to make the same exact file once again.) I guess that the cause of this problem might not be after-effects. It might be SOUL)

No trouble there. Nothing prevents you from him giving an additional encoding pass in the SOUL to produce a lean H.264 file. Ultimately it's what you have to understand - working with intermediate files is a common practice among professionals for a variety of reasons. Otherwise, the questions you see are just bugs and limitations of the current version of AE, combined to the fact that EI is not an audio, editing and mixing app in the first place.

  • Why pre-rendered footage get a new one made once again for each play or preview?

    Dear Sir/Mdm,

I'm a novice, please bear with me.

I use an Asus laptop with:

    1 CPU: Intel i5-3337U @ 1.80 GHz (4 processors)

    2. operating system: 8.1 Windows 64-bit (6.3, build 9600)

    3 RAM: 8 GB

    4 DirectX: Version 11

5 edge graphics: Intel HD 4000

6 dedicated graphics card: GeForce GT 740 M

    7 memory dedicated video: 2048 MB DDR3

    8 Nvidia Driver version: 6.14.13.3523

9 total available graphics memory: 4096 MB

I was hoping to avoid made repeated segments of images during RAM glimpses, through scrub or proofreading.

I wrote before the associated layers of segments filled and pre-rendered the pre-comp, who gave a sequence (in AVI format) to replace the demo.

But when I scrub through, reading (space) or do we RAM previews, pre-rendered footage Gets a new rendering even once (for each scrub-via/preview/reading).

    Need advice.

    Thank you.

You wrong understand how Premiere Pro handles transitions and reading. Transitions, if the codec of the original film supports, can be rendered in real time, if the source codec is not, they are rendered when you preview so that the program window, the place watch you your video edited, acts as an existing media for the video player. Through playback engine is capable of reading multiple streams of video at the same time by using the Mercury playback engine.

After Effects is a software of compositing that pixels in layers and perform math on each pixel. If you have cache enabled and then rendered frames are not re-renderings when redo you the ram preview, but if you make any change in the scenario, everything from that point forward must be returned again because there is no easy way say which pixels will change in the layers after you make a change without the calculations.

AE is a great tool to produce the plans and short sequences, but it was never intended to be used as an editing program to assemble movies. It is simply not the right tool for this. Editing and Compositing integration will improve as both AE are more closely integrated, but it's like that with all of the software used to create a movie. Compositing is a separate operation of the Assembly, and they are managed differently.

  • Recommendation for the newby - several videos

    Hey people,

Rather than ask a question with a State of mind, I'll remain open-minded to the suggestions that I have not put much together at this stage. other than the clips mp4 video.

I design a course mLearning for medium to high level of bandwidth.

I have 10 short video clips demonstrating specific tools.  Ideally, I would like to have them all available on a single slide to learners to choose which interact with before moving on to the next slide. However, I am not necessarily stuck on this mindset.

I wish that the videos as much real estate on the screen as possible once they are activated.  They are mp4 so should stay like this that html5 will be friends!  The videos will not be streaming of YouTube or internal Media Server, but in the Captivate file.  I read (somewhere) that I can put some kind of script or pre-loader that will start to download videos to the point the Captivate file is launched.  If it is known, can someone point me in the right direction?  I don't want any hang-ups learners by watching the videos.

In addition, the keys (or links) the user interacts with aura a few custom images, I created.

There will be audio welcome on the slide with a brief explanation of what to do with the videos, and what we use it for.

Thanks for any help or advice you can give on how to address the issue.  I'm not a fan of things retrofitting and would just create it in a way that makes sense for Captivate.

    Thank you

    Tom

Laughing out loud.  Expecting "friendly" HTML5, it is like sleeping with an alligator and to trust that he won't get hungry for a snack during the night.

I recommend that each video in a separate slide.  Having everything going on the same blade is likely to cause too many issues and be a maintenance nightmare.  Your end user won't care how many slides you used until it works transparently. It is easier to manage assets like that when they are separated.
