I have followed the instructions for the printer to the printer 7520e claim code, but can't find option "print report".

Thanks for the detailed response.  I must apologize because I found the claim code on one of the pieces of paper that I had printed.

  • The print spooler failed, code 7034"the print spooler service over unexpectedly. disk error

Hi all, I had a cluster of disc go bad in the middle of localspl.dll

I tried a lot of things, but first a little recap of my system and the problem.

    Win 7 Ultimate, OEM, 64-bit.

No new printer last week.  Impression was working fine last night.  This morning - print spooler does not work and system clearly having a problem.  A ran a ScanDisk with sector scan and repair verified time options.  Has detected an error in the middle of the above file.  Since then, I tried everything I can think of and some things I found on the internet.

    I tried:

Localspl.dll (via another system) in place of the copy of winsxs (found via search).  The same version and size.  There is no dllcache and if there is a similar animal on Win 7, I don't know about it.

    Before that, I tried SFC/scannow

    I dumpped everything spooler.

I tried the fix - sound, but I can't seem to find one that works on Win 7, 64 bit.

This utility doesn't help - can not even say the service failed in the middle of its operation.

I hate the idea that I'll have to reinstall scratch.

I can not yet do a upgrade in place due to the inability of stupid (shame of Microsoft) to do a upgrade in place of an OEM drive.  Come on, that disc might check to see if it was the same version and do - the code already exists - argh!

    I need some ideas please,

    Hi, we can close this.

I dropped.  Nothing works and I need my system back.

So, I backed the re - install from scratch.

  • HP Deskjet 2549: I pressed the icon e-print web on my HP Deskjet 2549, but I can't get the claim code. Help!

Same as above... I can't find my code request... where should I go? On my phone, where? No idea at all. Please help me ASAP!

    Hello

There is no claim code for this printer. The claim codes are used to set up ePrint (the ability to send content to your printer) and web services are needed for this - your printer is not active ePrint.

You can however print wirlessly from your mobile phone using the instructios I've included below:

The simplest is to print wireless from your mobile device to download the HP eprint app and make sure that your printer and devices are connected to the same network wifi - once the operation is finished, you will be bale to print wireless from the eprint app.

You can also use direct funtion wireless to your printer by turining on the button on the front of the printer wireless. This allows to generate the printer it's own singal wifi that you can connect through any wireless device. To find the wireless password, simply hold the direct wireless for more than 3 seconds and it will display the password on plain paper (make sure that the paper is loaded).

Let me know if you have problems with the installation.

  • HP PHOTOSMART 7520E: CLAIM OF PRINTER CODE

I'm about to get rid of my HP printer 7520 and buying another brand.  I tried for several months to connect to print E.  The instructions are NOT clear.  One of the instructions reads: "to connect to a web browser?  Just what that means.  I feel as if I bought the wrong brand of printer, and I tried for months to connect to a web browser.  Can someone give me CLEAR instructions.  Thank you.

    Hello

I hope that I can help you.

Include the main steps involved in the development of eprint

    1. Turning on web services on your printer (made via the control panel)
    2. Once the web services is trned on a sheet will be printed with the claim code (if the information sheet lists an email like [email protected], then the print request code is the number and the characters before @hpeprint.com. For example, abc234vbn3434 would be the claim of printer code).
    3. On the journal e-mail address is the address of your printer.
    4. The claim code can be used to claim your printer via the HPConnected Web site (your connected HP account is the place where your access yoru history of printing etc..) You can also use HP connected to customsie email to something more staff.

I have included a link below with relatively clear instructions on how to set up ePrint. If you have a problem with any of the steps, please let me know and we will try and work through them.

  • HP Envy 4500: Claim Code problems. The printer is already done.

    Hello

I am trying to add my new HP Envy 4500 to my account connected to HP, but when I enter the claim code, I get "the printer is already claimed. "In order to claim this printer, you must remove the previous owner.  Looking through the forum, it seems to be a fairly common problem.  I disabled / re-enabled web services to get a new code to claim, but it gives the same result.  I even reset the printer default and tried.  This time, connected HP indicated that it had saved my printer successfully, but when I go to the devices tab of the web page I am greeted with the message "it looks like you have not added all devices connected HP account".

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm hoping to use the instant program of HP ink, but unless I can add the printer to my account, I will not be able to.

    Thank you

I managed to get this working afterwards by registering a new user account with HP with a different email address.  Not an ideal solution (and apparently not a rare either) but at least it works now.

  • Printer Officejet 5740: can not find the claim code to register the printer Officejet 5740

I printed the map which is supposed to have the claim number, but it's not about it, there only diagnostic results.  I can't find it on the box or the other.  This printer is going to get knocked down a star in a review to be a PITA for the program installation, but right now I need the application number if my wife and I can use it for work and college classes.

    Hey there @douglasrob!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

EPrint is when an e-mail address is assigned to the printer.  Once this electronic address is assigned you can then send emails to the e-mail address of printers and the printer will print the email.  If the printer cannot connect to Web Services which means that eprint is not connected either.  The reason why you are able to print from the iPad is because it communicates through your network send printing to printers IP address not the Eprint address.

When the devices are connected to the network (router) it means other devices connected to the same network may be.  Connecting to Web Services the printer attempts to access the internet through the router.  The printer is connected to the network, but something is not allowing it to connect to the internet or the Web Services server.

One suggestion would be to change the DNS (Domain Name Servers) on the printer.  If the automatic DNS in the printer is incorrect then the printer will not be allowed access to the server of Web Services via the router.

To change the DNS of the front of the printer, you must:

    1. Tap the settings icon.
    2. Press the Network Configuration.
    3. Press wireless settings.
    4. Scroll down, and then press advanced settings.
    5. Press IP settings.
    6. Press manual (static).
    7. Press OK and ignore the message.  You do not change the IP address just the DNS.
    8. Scroll down and press DNS address.
    9. Type 008.008.008.008, and press done.
    10. Press on apply.
    11. Return to the start screen on the printer and try to activate Web Services again.

Let me know how it goes.  If this does not work, I should be able to locate another step to try!

  • How can I fnd my claim code and the reprint of the web services information sheet

Hi, I have a HP Deskjet 3520 and try to put in place the eprint.  I read the suggestions on the forum and the FAQ but I can't locate the web services information sheet I need to reprint for claim code.

Could not find anything under Printer Control Panel either. Please advise!

    Thank you!!

    Hi Chris88,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I appreciate that you try to configure the ePrint on your Deskjet 3520 printer feature.

If you have the inkjet printer Deskjet 3520 with a C8994 product number this printer does not have the ePrint service.  The Deskjet 3520 printer only has USB connection and ePrint to function the printer must have an independent internet connection through a wireless or a wired ethernet network.  I've included the specifications of the printer for your reference.

If you have the e-all-in-one printer Deskjet 3520 then we obtain the claim code.  You can request the information sheet of web services from the front panel of the printer, and there the claim code printed in blue. Instructions on how to get it can be found in the section titled "to print a document using ePrint' in your on page 15 user's guide.  Please follow the instructions in step 1.
