The problem of the implementation of the security of the Oracle iAssets

I have a pressing concerns as the topic. I've already implemented HRMS Oracle steps for employees in different locations.

If I want to establish the responsibility of the user to different locations of iAssets, can I put a deposit for below:
a. users can search only, and transfer their own locations for assets
b. clear the field of net book value of iAssets users

Thank you very much ~ ~

    Hi Nils

    12.1.3 WebLogic jdbc libraries are located in the MW_HOME/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jdbc_12.1.0 directory level.

    For this WLS jdbc driver is ojdbc7.jar which is loaded on startup of WLS.

    As mentioned on the post preceding this is is not compatible with the 11.1.1.7.3 MapViewer to display the ORDIMAGE. Seems that even the ojdbc6.jar that exists in this directory cannot be used.

    What to do is make the WLS Server uses the ojdbc6.jar for 11.1.1.7.3. There are different ways to use a different pot in WebLogic.

    This page http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1212/wls/JDBCA/third_party_drivers.htm was noted in this regard.

    As a quick test, you can try to make the ORDIMAGE with the following steps;

    (1) on page MapViewer OTN, Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer access downloads and download the quick start for the 11.1.1.7.3 Version.

    You will find the glassfish3/glassfish/domains/Domain1/lib folder a file jdbc ojdbc6.jar.

    (2) on your installation of a WebLogic domain:

    Navigate to the oracle_common/modules/oracle.jdbc_12.1.0 directory

    make a backup of ojdbc7.jar

    copy the ojdbc6.jar on top of ojdbc7.jar

    (3) start Weblogic server and try to make your theme ORDIMAGE.

    As I mentioned before, there are different ways to add a jar to WebLogic classpath. The quick test above is just replace the original ojdbc7.jar in a facility that is not good, as you lose you original ojdbc7.jar.

    Best regards.

  • Performance issues and options to reduce the loading with the Oracle text implementation

    Hi Experts,

    My database on Oracle 11.2.0.2 on Linux. We have Oracle implemented for the fuzzy search. Our oracle text indexes are defined as sync on commit that we cannot afford to have stale data.  Now our application done literally thousands of inserts/modifications/deletions of these columns where we have these Oracle text index defined. Thus, we see a significant impact on performance because the oracle text synchronization routines is called on each commit. We do nightly index optimization (optimization full every night at 3:00).  The text index oracle internal operations are appearing at the top of the sql page in our AWR report and fears it causes a lot of load on the DB.  Since we do optimization of the complete index once during the night, I think I should change that, and if I do, he's going to help us?

    For example, here are some data of AWR report my one day:

    Time elapsed (s) Executions Time by Exec (s) % Total % CPU %IO SQL ID SQL module SQL text
    27,386.25305 4410.0916.5015.829.98ddr8uck5s5kp3Start ctxsys.drvdml.com_sync_i...
    14,618.81213 9800.078.818.3927.7902yb6k216ntqfbegin ctxsys.syncrn (: idxownid,...)

    More top sql full text:

    ddr8uck5s5kp3begin ctxsys.drvdml.com_sync_index (: idxname,: idxmem,: partname);
    end
    02yb6k216ntqf

    begin ctxsys.syncrn (: idxownid,: idxoname,: idxid,: ixpid,: rtabnm,: flg); end;

    Now if I do optimization of the complete index that more often, and not only once night 15:00 will be this average, the load on DB sync on commit will decrease? If Yes, how many times should I optimized and the optimization itself does not lead to a load? Can anyone suggest?

    Thank you

    OrauserN

    It's to you which values you want to experiment.  Since 1 G, which is the same as 1024M is the maximum I could try that assigning to an index and see what effect it has.  You can use the same AWR report that you used previously and compare performance.  To determine when paging depends on your operating system and what tools you have.  Another option might be to use TRANSACTIONAL, that allows searching for unsynchronized lines and allow you to synchronize every five minutes, like Herald suggested, without any latency problem.  You can read about it here (scroll down to transaction):

  • Any idea about this problem on installing the Oracle Client

    Hello

    Client computer: Dell notebook, i5, Win 7 SP1 Enterprise 64-bit (8 GB of RAM)

    I am trying to install the oracle 11.2.0.3 client 64-bit on this machine, but facing problems. After I'm done specifying ORACLE_BASE and selection of the language and 'Administrative' selected option instead of 'instant customer' or 'Runtime', by clicking on the next button, progress bar is displayed and the time it's done with audit requirements that disappears from the screen moving in together. I ran the installer with the option "Run as Administrator" too and tried to use 11.2.0.2 setup, but in vain.

    Quick question... I have a CSI valid, if I get a ticket with Oracle, they would help me on problem installing client that I am facing. In the past I was able to install the client on this machine, I am just clueless despite that I looked at the log generated by the Setup program file.

    Unfortunately, there are administrators in Windows, then there are administrators.  Apparently not all administrators are created equal.  Don't ask me to explain, I do not understand myself, I just know that this is a truth.  Still a reason more I learned to avoid Windows I get chances.

  • Please need help with my application manifest signed Comodo to get rid of the Oracle security warning

    Dear members. I need your help please

    I have a game I'm hosting at www.hiredforoneday.com

    I signed the code with Comodo M/s. I wrote the manifest file (and changed so many times) but I still get the Oracle security warning:

    "This application will run with unrestricted access, which can put your computer and personal information at risk.

    Run this application if you trust the place and the editor above.

    I'm must admit am bat / do not understand what I do.

    Please I need your help on how to write the code manifest, how correctly put it in the jar and how to reference the html code

    The game can be played online from www.hiredforone Day

    I need the system clock of the client and also I used getResources() to read images in the jar file

    on the site, I have a (Play) button. During a call to the play button, the index page connects to the file play.html which is located in the folder pots.
    The file play.html calls the HiredForOneDay.jar file that is located in the folder of the pots. Files such as launch.jnlp, launch.html are all in the jarsfolder.

    My game using Cardlayout (CardLayOutClass) in the Applets init() the

    cardLayoutClass.showCongratulationsPanel (); which shows the Congraculations class

    then setJMenuBar (helpTopicSelector.getBar ()); HelpTopicSelector is also another class

    Here is the code

    [code]

    package hiredforoneday;

    /**
    * @(#) HiredForADayApplet.java
    *

    * @author Ruth Bugembe
    * @author John Bannick
    * @version December 23, 2012
    */
    @SuppressWarnings ("serial")
    SerializableAttribute public class HiredForADayApplet extends javax.swing.JApplet {}

    public static CardLayoutClass cardLayoutClass;
    HelpTopicSelector helpTopicSelector;
    @Override
    @SuppressWarnings("static-access")
    public void init() {}

    cardLayoutClass = new CardLayoutClass();
    helpTopicSelector = new HelpTopicSelector (this);

    Add (cardLayoutClass.getMainPanel (), BorderLayout.CENTER);
    cardLayoutClass.showCongratulationsPanel ();

    setJMenuBar (helpTopicSelector.getBar ());

    }

    } [/ code]

    I didn't send in the manifest code because I did so many versions and now am confused

    Thanks again for your time

    Ruth

    I don't think it's possible to prevent the warning message from appearing at least once. There could be an option 'do not show this again' on the dialog box warning that users can check to prevent it from appearing again. Codezone-the only thing I can think is to eliminate the dependency on the system clock client side so that the attribute in the manifest file permissions can be set to 'sandbox' rather than 'all rights '. You don't know if he read images from the same signed jar file still qualified under 'sandbox' - try it and see.

    It is worth noting that other publishers Java RIA as the Knowledge Base for the Skillsoft Support are also facing the same issue, and they document simply as a relatively mild warning message.

  • The Oracle cards and the SDO_INTERSECTION problem

    Hi all

    I have a SQL query that uses SDO_INTERSECTION and I would use it to create a dynamic theme using the API Oracle cards.

    I tried several other applications and they all work very well, displaying the information correctly. My query using SDO_INTERSECTION runs and returns the correct results in SQL Developer, but when I use it to create a dynamic theme in the Oracle cards I get the following error:

    * "Request string is too long for no AJAX of Oracle remote access cards."

    I read on another thread that you can call MVMapView.XMLHttpRequest (true) for this problem, but if I do, no times are displayed on the map, not even with other requests, so I guess that's not the solution.

    My SQL query is:
    SELECT * FROM (
    select sum(emissao_fact.quantidade_emitida),
    sum(emissao_fact.limiar_poluente),
    ROW_NUMBER() OVER (ORDER BY SUM(quantidade_emitida) DESC) AS rownumber,
    concelho.concelho_id as idin,
    concelho.nome,
    bacia.nome as bacia,
    SDO_GEOM.SDO_INTERSECTION((SELECT geom FROM concelho concelhox WHERE concelhox.concelho_id = concelho.concelho_id), SDO_DIM_ARRAY(SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('X', -180, 180,.00000005), SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('Y', -90, 90, .00000005)), (SELECT geom FROM bacia baciax WHERE baciax.bacia_id = bacia.bacia_id ), SDO_DIM_ARRAY(SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('X', -180, 180, .00000005), SDO_DIM_ELEMENT('Y', -90, 90, .00000005))) glocal
    from instalacao, emissao_fact, concelho, bacia
    where emissao_fact.instalacao_id = instalacao.instalacao_id AND instalacao.BACIA_ID = bacia.bacia_id AND instalacao.concelho_id = concelho.concelho_id
    AND instalacao.concelho_id = concelho.concelho_id
    group by concelho.concelho_id, concelho.nome, bacia.nome, bacia.bacia_id
    ) WHERE rownumber <= 5
    As I said, it performs well on SQL Developer, is probably not relevant here.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
    ~ Ruben

    The problem is "application of string is too long for no AJAX of Oracle remote access cards. It is caused by 1) the mapviewer server is in a different field than where your application is running, and 2) queries sent to the server remote mapviewer are too long. You query has nothing to do with it. You can read the documentation of the API for MVMapView.enableXMLHTTP to learn more about this issue.

    To resolve this problem, you must call MVMapView.enableXMLHTTP (true) to force the client to send AJAX requests via proxy MapViewer servlet. The proxy servlet MapViewer belongs to mapviewer, and it must run in the same domain when your application is running. To activate it, you must only deploy a dummy MapViewer on the same app server where your application is deployed. The proxy servlet will work once mapviewer.ear is deployed. No configuration is required.

    If using proxy MapViewer servlet, this is not an option, you must configure reverse proxy with Apache web server, that is to say where the application runs. Reverse proxies accept the requests sent to mapviewer servlet URL that is local to the application and to transfer requests to the server, in mapviewer to remove. You need to set up one for http://remote-domain/mapviewer/foi and one for http://remote-domain/mapviewer/mcserver. They serve a virtual mapviewer instance running in the application domain. In your application, you must set the mapviewer for the application domain, http:///mapviewer base URL. In the browser, applications are now sent in the same domain, so it is more cross domain issue.

  • Problem with the Oracle text markup

    Hello

    I have a problem with the Oracle text markup.

    I am looking for keywords in a text which is composed by a question and answer.
    Here is the structure of my text:
    & lt; div class = 'question' & gt;
    & lt; a & gt; the title of my question & lt; /a & gt;
    & lt; div class = "reply & gt;
    content of response
    & lt; / div & gt;
    & lt; / div & gt;

    It is possible to search those keywords in the question or answer only. For this, I use the stored procedure:

    {call CTX_DOC. MARKUP)
    index_name = >?
    textkey = >?
    text_Query = >?
    restab = >?
    query_id = >?
    startTag = >?
    (EndTag = >?)}

    _with these parameters: _

    index_name = < my index >
    textkey = < id for the search text >
    text_Query = < a query containing the keywords >
    restab = < a table SQL to store the marked text >
    query_id = < id >
    startTag = ' < span class =-"highlight\" >. "
    EndTag = "</span >.

    The markup should be done only in the place you want (question, answer, or both).
    The markup is good when I search a keyword throughout the text, in the question or answer only.
    * If I search two key words in the question or answer, the markup is bad *.

    _Example: __
    I am looking for the words "* Internet *" in question only.
    Here's the query passed to the stored procedure:
    + * text_query * = 'service & internet' INPATH (//div[@class = 'question'] / has) +.

    In the question, these words are well marked.
    In response, only the first word is marked.

    * Why the first keyword is also marked in the response while the query specifies a search in question only? *

    The same problem appears when I search for the same keywords in the response only.
    In this case, in the answer, these words are marked as well.
    In the issue, only the first word is marked.

    Thanks for your help

    Edited by: user11088931 Apr 21. 2009 06:17

    Try text_query = (service & internet) INPATH (//div/a)

    Single quotes in a query do nothing. I think that your request has been treated as

    Service & (internet INPATH (//div/a))

  • Basic question on the implementation of the Oracle trigger

    For example, suppose I have this trigger code:
    CREATE TRIGGER schema.trigger_name
        BEFORE
        DELETE OR INSERT OR UPDATE
        ON schema.table_name
           pl/sql_block

    The weird part is I wrote this trigger but don't know how to run it. Can someone give me the answer to these question, please?

    1. How can I add this trigger on the table 'table_1 '.
    2. I want the trigger to be permanent on the table_1 and not only for a particular session. How do I do that?
    3. are there things I need to take care of during the execution of a trigger? Something like best practices?

    I'm using Linux. So, please give your solution based on SQL more

    EDIT: Also, how can I make sure that the trigger is. Is it possible to see?

    Edited by: TuX4EvA January 6, 2010 03:24

    1.
    Replace

    ON schema.table_name

    by

    on schema.table1

    2 triggers in the table are always permanent and not for a given session.

    To check this trigger is created in the database dictionary, you can use

     select owner, trigger_name from all_triggers;

    For more information on triggers, please take a look at the Guide of the Oracle® Database 2 day Developer's:

  • Cannot access SQL more from other than the Oracle users

    Hello

    I installed Oracle 11 g R2 on Red Hat 6. My problem is that I can't access sqlplus from other than the oracle users.

    I put the PATH, the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID to the correct values.

    My question is, although quite stupid, that double

    (1) I have to change the permissions of the directory oracle of 755 for any other user to access the sqlplus?

    (2) why is the user directory under the folder created with permissions of 700, even when the umask is set to 002? Change the permissions of the directory under/Home oracle will cause security problems?

    My apologies for being naïve. It's the first time I installed Oracle under UNIX

    Kind regards

    Prithwsh

    Actually, the default procedure is NOT to install oracle to X11R6, but in/opt/oracle. or maybe/usr/local/oracle.

    This is what you're going to be recommended in the installation documentation, and in doing so, don't forget to run rootpre.sh and root.sh, I never had security problems and could run Oracle from any account.

  • Reg: Preloading in the Oracle client.

    Hi Experts,

    What exactly is the concept behind the 'prefetch' in the Oracle client.

    My understanding - is the number of records retrieves customer data base and throws it to the user.

    Read a few posts on AskTom

    1. https://asktom.oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0:P11_QUESTION_ID:6840389700346552727

    2. https://asktom.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=100:11:0:P11_QUESTION_ID:429660240587

    But still I got some doubts-

    1. you want to understand the concept in detail as network round trips, data packets, etc.

    2. a scenraio - say my query will generate 158 K records, and I put my line Prefetch = 3500 to my client. It will be really beneficial? The customer while recovery displays the current state as "go get... records of 2002...". 3003, 4004... etc.

    Why get it 1,000 records, while I put the 3500.

    Please notify.

    Thank you and best regards,

    -Nordine

    (on Oracle 11.2.0.3.0 / SQL client Tools)

    Imagine the most stupid possible implementation (in a perspective of network traffic)

    The client sends a request to the database (1 trip)

    The client then requests the first line

    Oracle executes the request well enough to find the first line, which returns to the client (1 trip)

    The client then requests the following line

    Oracle executes the request well enough to find the first line, which returns to the client (1 trip)

    ---

    Repeat 158 000 times, until the last line is read

    As a round trip network is, in the best cases, the order of 10 milliseconds, it would mean that 158 000 back and forth network would consume seconds 1580 or about 26 minutes just networking air before adding in time for Oracle to generate results or the customer to do something with the results.

    Table extraction generally reduced this problem by allowing the client to fetch more than 1 row with each round trip.  If you pick 100 lines at once, you have need of round-trips of 1580, which would take 15.8 seconds in our environment of hypothetical return of 10ms.  If you get 1000 rows at a time, you have 158 network trips that would take 1.58 seconds.  But, of course, is not really as simple as that.  Network packets are not arbitrarily size so the lines you are great and go look for these lines, the packages more you exchange which makes extraction individual times more.  This means that network fetch load reduction is almost certainly less linear on a reasonable range of fetch sizes - maybe the example of 100 line passes 30 seconds on fetch of network load and the sample line of 1000 passes 10 seconds.  As with anything, you want to compare in your environment with your data to see where your application gets the best performance.

    As for what the customer is displayed, it is a question for the customer.  I guess the customer is written to view independent progress of the fetch size.

  • performance issue with the Oracle SQL query

    Dears

    Good evening

    I am new to begin to use Oracle SQL, I have a sql query which takes longer to run in production.

    Each table in the query contains 1.2 million records and DBA suggested using the "Oracle - tips. I don't have good knowledge on this subject and the difficulties to implement this advice for imrpovise performance. In the product the jobs Informatica are failed and stuck with this problem of query performance.

    I ask this forum for an emergency for me to solve this problem by using "advice". kindly help me.
